New handheld at Japanese airport.
Oh Shiloh!
Ail this wishful babble about a buyout reminds me of a group of friends that have purchased a lottery ticket and can't stop talking about their fantasy win.
Up against the 50-day once again. Will it crack through?
Not enough juice to punch up through the 50-day.....too bad.
It nice to get a little relief when the chief "Shorty" becomes the chief "Cheerleader". That seems to have been the case recently.
When investors start to think as you do, it's time to buy buy buy.
Very good post....Thanks.
Does this mean you are bailing out? We will miss your encouragement and joyous posts. Good luck.
Wow! I'm up $108 on the shares I bought this morning. Yippie-yi-yo-ki-yay !
I grabbed 4000 @ 0.2549 when they shook the tree.
I was going to jump off the roof of my office building, but I'm a coward. Jumped off the curb instead. Broke my ankle.
If anyone should know the answer to your question, you should. BTW about 2 weeks ago you posted here that you would be bailing out of Implant in about 2 weeks. Are you still in?
2 more weeks? Is that the end of your short? If so, I want to jump on the long bandwagon with you. Thanks for the timeline.
Welcome to the real world, Buff.
Blame Bolduc? I thought it was George W's fault.
LOL? What happened to professional and polite?
Yes I'm satisfied with their performance to date. I'm a long term investor and I've used the latest drop in share price to purchase more shares and reduce my average purchase price. I only wish my energy sector investments looked as good to me as IMSC does . While I haven't tried, I doubt the CEO of Chevron would take my call to complain about the price of oil.
I know you don't want to hear this, but, I'd rather see Dr. McGann continue to spend his valuable time with product related tasks and ignore time-wasting calls from most of the self-proclaimed experts that post here.
My calls have been taken...but then, I don't call them "Bastards".
This is the kind of update we need from our CEO.

Remain calm.
Does that mean you will sell or does it mean you will fire the CEO so that the share price will then surge to $1.30? Sorry...I couldn't resist.
Ok. We're no going to go to low 60s tomorrow.
He that flings dirt at another dirtieth himself most.

Rumor from the same source that saw Elvis this morning in South Boston.
I was referring to types of unsustainable bounces. However, they can be part of sustainable share appreciation if the company is healthy and experiencing earnings growth and a strong balance sheet. Hopefully that is where IMSC is headed.
Bingo! You're exactly right. Sustainable growth in share price will come. These short-term unsustainable bounces based on PRs, insider buying, etc. only matter if one is looking to get out in the short-term. Patience will result in an opportunity to share in substantial rewards.
Ok. Here's your answer. ... "On August 28, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) put Implant Sciences Corporation's QS-B220 desktop explosive detectors on their Qualified Product List. The management team was absolutely ecstatic about this and Glenn Bolduc, IMSC's CEO, said that this is “the single most significant achievement in our company's history”.
BUT, the share price increase wasn't sustainable because it takes earnings growth and a strong balance sheet to do that. It's that simple and not as hard to understand as you are making it.
Illuminate you? Sure. Just read my post again and forget about where the share price was and think about what it takes for the SP to increase in the future. HINT: Earnings and a strong balance sheet. (Investing 101).
Great post.
Wrong Six. I want to see earnings growth and a strong balance sheet. I couldn't care less who owns shares.
The only thing at this point keeping the company's SP from breaking out is the current lender?
Right. Negative earnings and $62,000,000 in long term debt have no bearing on the share price. If you believe that I've got some energy stocks I'd love to sell you.
Come on Six. The BOD didn't force you to buy at $1.30. You made the choice. It's time for you to take responsibility for the decisions you make.
62 Million in long term debt is pretty extreme.
Simple. What are negative earnings, extreme debt, and potential success worth? In this case 75 cents.
Finally! An intelligent post. Way to go Sully.
But would you sell if the BOD wanted to buy your 360 shares?
itoro: Yes you are right! Then 2 weeks from now the share price would settle back down to .78. Repeat after me. "Earnings will create sustainable share price growth". Patience my good man.
Come on Buff. The share price didn't increase 10% over the last 3 months because an insider bought 2000 shares 3 months ago. It went up because of earnings!
