Ferry Tail? You gotta be kidding me.
Thank you for your help trader53!
I signed up for your email alert program. I haven't received anything as of yet. Is there a subscription level email alert service? If so, where can I sign up for it?
Thanks again for the message, and keep up the good work....this is the best board on ihub.
Trader53, what do you think of ECOS?
Thanks for the great info and message board. I'm new to this, and I've learned a lot from your posts and board. You should publish a book!
Anyway, what do you think of ECOS: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=ECOS
Looks like the Red and Blues are where you like and the pps us under the key support of .0003 right now at .0002. It has had a considerable walk down over the last few months, but has trended sideways, with some heavy volume (accumulation?) over the last week. A venture capital firm has been involved (details unknown) for a few months. The CEO's blog: http://www.ecolocap.com/blogs.php says PR's, production, revenues, videos of production facilities, and a social media campaign are due in the next week or two (promote?).
Over the last week there has been a negative attitude on the message board, mostly due to share structure and possible dilution. The O/S is over 3B and 3X the amount you typically like.
Seems like most of the factors you look for are there, but the O/S is too heavy....would it be worth taking a shot at this one or is that O/S just too much negative to outweigh the good signals?
Thanks!
I hear ya CG. I'm not trying to be rude. Hell, I'm not sure I even believe it. I'm just putting that out there as a reminder.
I agree with just about everything you post. I'm just thinking that if a message board is depressed or despondent then that's when we should buy. Maybe I'm wrong. However, we can't sell now...so hold on tight.
So...MS was looking for $ for 1) scientists 2) Korea 3)Ukraine waste project 4) likely needed $ for ESTERHOL deal...whatever that might be? The license to sell a trademarked product from a defunct floundering company?
Anyway, this is how $ trouble ALWAYS starts. My wife wants a new car, trip to Disney, a bigger TV, Ugg boots....all at once, AND without the accompanying revenues to support it :)
Good thing I don't let her handle the money....that way I can put money into solid investments like ECO$. :)
Seriously MS, hatch some chickens make some $ then go on your crusade to replace diesel, change trash collection and home utilities forever. Pay for some of your own projects. Please.
A r/s without accompanying revenue will only hurt the company.
I would imagine they are going to someone that needs payment, AND has been promised the shares will rapidly rise in value.
Any retail investor would google search "ecolocap" and this board would pop up first. He would read the first 2 threads and then run for the hills. Likely not retail.
Now...if MS is "selling" these shares at .0001 or 2, then whoever is "buying" them likely doesn't want some trip zip stock in a shell company in return for real cash and time commitment. Unless of course it's some gullible primitive tribe, and in that case MS should be offering them beads and trinkets rather than shares of his company.
Now...when someone has been "paid back"/"paid off" with shares, MS will release videos, production reports, Esterhol contract reports, bumped up revenue filings....and yes...blogs. He has enough story lined up, and enough shares to sell, to really make ECOS run.
If a MM has a billion shares to sell and a 1 layer story, the stock can run and rise quickly. If a MM has 3 billion shares to sell, as they sell the stock will rise slower, BUT with multiple PR worthy stories, they can keep selling more shares over a longer period of time...thus longer run, and rise of pps. Think of steps and "rise over run" ....our rise will have a longer run with more shares in circulation.
That's all assuming the "best" in ECOS and our situation. Still very possible. Since we are all locked in at trip zips, we may as well wait and be patient. Negativity will only kill our pps and leave a trail in the message board history for "negative nancys" to use down the road.
Go ECO$...one day she will rise up and run like the wind :)
Isn't "depression" on a message board a clear "BUY" signal? Particularly here....we have MM's involved, VP's with their hands all over it, a "story"/production/revenues all set up ready to announce, and a revolutionary product with massive potential.
Seems like THIS would be the time to buy at 2's/3's before the big guys begin their run to the top. They wouldn't set this up to let it go sideways forever....Seems like ECOS has another pop left in it. IMO
Yep...if this is a "scam", then MS are doing a real disservice to the environment, and a real service to big oil/pollution.
Think about it. If you get scammed on this, or "green energy" gets a rep for the sector of scammers....how many legit startups or great ideas will get funding? It will certainly be harder to get funding or sell shares of legit companies in the future.
Here I am putting my money into investments that should SAVE the Earth....all I'm doing is fueling up MS' gas guzzling Tahoe so he can tow his gas guzzling boat up to Lake Michigan for the weekend.
Thanks tree shaker! I appreciate the help.
If you could turn 700 bucks into $25,000 in 3 months...I quit my job and work for you (Wolf of Wall Street reference) :)
So, which less risky stocks? Where/How do I find those? Do you have a preferred method or look at certain indicators? Are you part of a group? Where/When is the best place for me to cut my teeth on this?
Thanks again for the help, and I'll take all the advice I can get!!
Is 5's the max? To me...it's run or done. If it dies, I'll just lay and pray that I'm sitting in a row boat on Golden Pond.
If a run only gets us up to 5's...ugh. The weight of all these shares will be tough to move, but a once in a lifetime fuel additive could do just that. BUT we'd need really crazy stuff like...PR, news, filings, revenues, and an actual product....none of which I'm sure MS could accomplish.
Although my ECOS adventure might fall short....tfall are there some other good boards/books/websites/videos you'd recommend for playing pennies? I'm hooked....but obviously need to learn more before my next venture.
Exactly. Buy at 1 (or have them handed to you) and sell at 2, 3, or in my case 4...that's a GREAT return on your money.
NOW..tfall, do you see a setup for a run here? I'm no expert, but even I can see what's going on. What I don't know is if they will make it run or even care if it runs. These guys own millions of dirt cheap shares, and have a great story tee'd up. They just have to put the extra shares in their pocket right now. Issue more, drive the pps down, and buy from the frustrated/weak current holders.
THEN once total despair has set in and they've issued as many shares as possible AND bought back all the 1's they can...POP! Production!....sell sell sell...Revenues!....sell sell sell...Esterhol contract!...sell sell sell...ECOS is out of shares...pps down down down...go silent. Back to trips, shhh buy buy buy....reverse split, new name, new ceo, new scam...repeat...shhhh.
Is THAT a possible scenario? Or is this thing just dead in the emulsified H20?
ECO$ to the Moon! I have a feeling MS is going to end up like Sandra Bullock (just fine) and I'm going to end up like George Clooney (sacrificing myself so he can live a good life)....that's the "to the moon" trip is starting to feel.
Deal guy, heck with it. Why be on this side of it? Let's take Grandma's Chocolate Chip public and sell some stock. Rather than just wait for ECOS, let's start our own pink sheet and make the real cheesecake.
Doesn't look like anyone goes to jail and rather than hope to make millions, we can just take it from unsuspecting investors and straight up gamblers with an etrade account.
My grandma makes revolutionary cookies and has a huge contract in the works to sell them in a 3rd world country :) Jobrano would have people slapping the ask in pennies in no time. :)
HB, I agree. Comparing ECOS to football and asking MS for a "money shot"...classic! Very entertaining reading to start my day. Thanks.
I also agree about this board. Good group and very helpful. I've learned a lot from all of you (including tfall :) So, I put "play" money in ECOS, but I'm wrapped up in the story and how the OTC/Pinks/Trip zip/pennies work and operate. It's fun and entertaining, so thanks all on the ecos board.
That being said...yes put the pressure on MS. Looks like the OTC/Pinks serve an important purpose in our economy. A place where start ups, innovation, competition for the big boys in all sectors can get their start. It's "the American dream" level of the markets. Regular Joe "thousand-aire" looking to become a rich millionaire over night in the market...and idealistic engineers, inventors, techies, etc looking to start the next Apple.
It's too bad the low regulation, rampant manipulation, hucksters, and scammers rule this level of investing. This could be so much better and provide more opportunity and advancement for everyone with a little more vigilance and "care" from investors/regulators.
Sorry for the rant. Let'$ go ECO$
I'm flying blind. Is Trevor around to give us his usual helpful update?
Ok thanks. Looks like a complicated modification to retrofit. I wonder if it will catch on.
Dealguy...can you give us any more updates/info/your opinions about ECOS?
As a company: (A)Looks like it's Korea production/revenues are make or break, and we should know in the next month or less. It's hard to imagine that falling through at this point, which we've been led to believe we are at. If for some reason "Magic Mike" has to punt the Korea chickens/kerosene it will seem like a pooch punt from his own redzone and look terrible.
(B)If Armageddon happens I'd imagine a reverse split/reorganization/Esterhol story or rally. Yet another beach ball floating around in the MS stadium of investors.
As a stock:(A) Here's what I see. A stock walked down to the basement. Trending sideways, but volume still high. CVP with vested interest and the company putting out cheap shares (where? and why?). Two major "stories"/PR's/products on the ready to build a nice run off the current basement and volume. OR the way the opposite...(B)MS and ECOS last gasp issuing shares to cover mounting debt, payroll, out of control burn rate. Too many shares outstanding or MM manipulation...all bad.
I see 2 A routes for shareholders with positive outcomes, and two B routes with negative outcomes. What is your take? Your gut instinct? Are you invested in ECOS? If so heavily or "play" money? Do you invest in trips or pennies often?
Sorry for the long message. I look for your posts more than MS' blogs at this point, so I figured I'd try to catch you on here and get your thoughts. Thanks.
You would hope the guy would be smart enough to encourage MS to bump up the pps of the stock before he dumped it. Hmm...a VC with his own money and his company money tied to a stock that just took a looooong walk down. Now it's trending sideways in the trips and volume still has a heartbeat.
The stock has a good story with several "layers". A PR campaign, some reported revenues and viola...you have a runner. The OS is high, but the story/revenues/potential/sector etc could and should be enough to move the weight of all those shares.
Meh..never know.
Jeep EcoDiesel: I was watching TV last night and a commercial for the new Jeep said something about EcoDiesel. Here is the website:
http://www.jeep.com/en/jeep_capabilities/eco-diesel-calculator/#introduction
I wonder how this works with ECOS and Esterhol...tm? Is this the same engine conversion kit from Technocarb? I'd imagine a fuel additive that doesn't require engine modification would be better. Plus it doesn't hurt to have Eco-diesel-bio-fuel or any combo of those buzz words enter the public conscience.
IF we have a real product...we might be on to something. It's really crappy we have to sit here and discuss if the product even exists. Sheesh.
I don't follow...you think it will be a bouncy ride under .002 or 3 but if we get production/revenue it will go up?
Anyone find it odd, that we have the SAME guy coming to the ECOS message board just to bash ECOS regularly? Meanwhile, everyone else on the board is waiting on news or giving some analysis to the situation?
Regular...general/generic bashing. Hmm... When it comes to the net, I check several things regularly. My email, my favorite sports teams message boards, political news, etc. The one thing they all have in common is that I care about them.
Now, from time to time I look at things I don't care about, but I don't go back to those sites....certainly not regularly. Like, an opposing sports team's board after a big game. BUT I don't go back day after day after day. Sometimes I check up on a potential stock, don't like it, and move on. I don't go back day after day to keep telling people I don't like it.
My point? Why come here so regularly if you don't have something at stake? Coming here regularly even to bash ecos, means you care about ecos on some level...a negative level. Maybe a little cellar boxing? A little paid bashing? Keeping the pps low for easy buying and bouncing it up a tick or two for some quick 50-100% markup?
Any thoughts on this?
If so, even Aerotyne got up to 6 cents. :)
I will email as well...I hope dealguy does as well. I'm going to craft a thoughtful, well reasoned, spell checked email or snail mail.
MS and Fife have LinkedIn accounts. We should all sign up for LinkedIn and add them and try to contact them through that. LinkedIn is more professional and is in public view.
Videos from Korea, and some docs to the SEC? MS...we've planned your weekend for you. Stockmist, dealguy, and others are correct. Trevor already showed how important Ihub is to your business. NOW take care of the few guys defending your business, and take some simple steps towards legitimizing your business, pleasing your shareholders, and bringing ECOS into securities laws compliance.
Thank You
That's the one thing I disagree with dealguy. Videos will make a huge impact. A real video from Korea with proof it's January 10, 2014 and milky bubbly d-fuel being produced with chicken coops all around....THAT would be night night for the scam claimers.
THAT is only a week or two away. No excuses. If the mixer is broken...show us. Pumps are leaking?...show us. Videos will be great, filings are necessary...and I'm starting to think MS is reading this and will be on it within the month.
(PS...the reason I think videos are important...see my "people don't read" post. People don't read, but they will watch a video. That's why I disagree dealguy.)
Remember ECOS was HOT this time last year. There are lots of "old" investors that got crushed by rushing it at MUCH higher pps than the current/"new" investors. I think that some of them are still snooping around here 1) jealous. When was the last time someone lost money and then congratulated the guy that took their money? If you hadn't already lost money, how would you know ECOS, this board, or that ECOS is a bad investment? Sour grapes crew....hopefully we step all over them and make some wine out of their "whine".
2) Some of them might be doubling down in an attempt to average down their pps...and keep buying. Personally, every time I try to buy 2's it won't go through. I have 3's and 4's, and for my purposes that's fine. Wouldn't be shocked if that's the case. Again, why here if not into ECOS or WERE into ECOS at one time or another.
Trevor, yes I think you are on to something. Just think about it. Google ECOS and this board is the 1st or 2nd thing that pops up. If you were interested in ECOS and read "scam", CEO blah blah, dilution, etc...you'd move on to the next. Very true.
Newsflash. People don't read. They don't read the filings and they can barely read the blog. Internet message boards in pennyland isn't home to Graham and Buffett. Hell, most of this negativity was started by a guy that doesn't know the difference between "there" and "their".
We must separate opinion from "fact" and treat all the info as such.
Exactly. Deal guy said it best, "MS bats too many balls in the air". I'm not sure if ESTERHOL was a diversion or if MS just learned how to use the little TM symbol, and wanted to show off.
However, he likely didn't know or care about the "temperature" in this chat room.
ESTERHOL...good because it's EPA approved, and ECOS can make it and sell it NOW. If it's a lie or diversion, we shouldn't have to wait long for this one either. It's USA..USA! USA! USA! The EPA/USA is so far beyond Korea and Poultry Associations. Classic MS...dreamin' big swingin' for the fence with bio-fuel something or other and at least he's got me in THIS hemisphere for the next chapter.
I'm waiting for Korea and those cute little baby chicks to come into this world all warm and cozy....thanks to my $1,000 dollars from the USA. Now...the question is which one of us will get slaughtered first?
Is ESTERHOL the bio-fuel that smells awful? About a year or two ago, a few taxis in Las Vegas were using something similar. The drivers loved it because they saved money on fuel and ultimately pocketed more $ from fares. HOWEVER, customers hated the smell, and hotels wouldn't allow the cabs to stage at their hotels because of the smell.
Hmm...maybe they can fuel garbage trucks or airplanes. Vehicles that already stink or aren't near people to annoy.
Vince, I was responding to dealguy's "transparency" post. He said some transparency would bring them up to compliance. Not that ECOS isn't complying....just read that way.
LOL...of all the days to be absent from ECOS board. My goodness. There is tfall and Jobrano, but the truth is probably in the middle of them.
Wow..dealguy, I read that as "ECOS/MS is NOT in compliance with securities laws". Also, your questions do need answers. That would make a great email to MS, if he needs material to answer in the blog, THAT would be it.
I also appreciate your insight...very helpful/interesting. Thanks.
Yes...a small portion of my buy was at the ask at 4's.
"Nick"/Deal Guy....thanks for your updates/info. 1) If ECOS is close to production and filling the kind of orders reported, then why issue so many shares at such a low price? Why not at least bump the value up with reports of revenue? Isn't the CVP money supposed to penetrate the Korean market and get it up and running...not the huge increase in shares? Again, huge increase in shares, but not a big increase in $.
2) On the blog can we get some videos/pictures of what is happening in Korea?
MS should be aware of the nature of this business, and look to offset the scam/shell argument at every pass. If a share increase is necessary....tell us why. If you can't post videos/pictures for patent reasons...say it. However, he should look to legitimize ECOS in the eyes of investors that look at the pps/market/sector and immediately think "scam".
Thanks again, your posts are awesome.
Asia consumes 40% of the world's chicken
Here is an interesting article about poultry and the future of chicken in Asia. Plus, this website has details about the farming of chickens. Man... I must be really bored to read this.
http://www.thepoultrysite.com/articles/2929/global-poultry-trends-2013-asia-consumes-40-per-cent-of-worlds-chicken
I can believe the emulsion fuel part of the story. It isn't a secret, and other companies are working on it. Universities have been studying it for awhile as well.
I think MS said something about older scientists being "put out to pasture". That's how ECOS was born. I can certainly buy that. I have a friend who worked for NASA and other agencies. He was "retired" but he had stuff he was working on alone that could have been remarkable. If ECOS really is 5 or 6 scientists getting together to work on stuff like this, I can believe it.
I can also see big oil not wanting their "product" lasting 30% longer OR spending the $ to test emulsion fuels. It's easier to let ECOS run the ball in the endzone and THEN valero, phillips, BP, etc will spike the football for them, and only when they have to.
The B-movie set generic photos are disturbing, but then again you don't want to put too much info/detail in public domain if you really are working on patent stuff.
Wow. Ok...given the history and track record, I have no problem asking MS for VIDEO proof of happenings in Korea.
WilliamB, I hope your patience/loyalty to ECOS/MS is rewarded. Thanks for posting that. Given the pps of ECOS, the market it trades in, and MS' history....proof/verification is part of the CEO's job.
I hope 102's email list is answered by MS.
So 2 things I've been thinking about: 1) I've only been following since August. However, reading the CEO blog, it seems like MS has kept his word and things are progressing at a reasonable pace. MS hasn't given me any reason to doubt or disbelieve him. The only doubts I have are...well it's a penny stock. If we believe MS, then production starts in February (at the latest) and revenues will be reported in Q2 (at the latest). Ecos had a big drop...is there any history that causes us to doubt MS/ECOS that I don't know about?
2) WilliamB was in long time ago at 0.45....with the new share structure and passing of time, is it possible for ECOS to get back to that without a r/s? If production, PR, revenue, get out the word campaign all go accordingly in 2014, is .45 and WilliamB getting back to even on those early shares possible?
Thanks
THIS. Yes. MS....if you are reading. THIS is what WE as shareholders need/want.
Could we sticky that or at least email it to MS BEFORE the next blog?
Ahhh...ok. It DID let me change it. I just had to run through their yield sign. Ok. Thanks all.
That order is now 375,000 at 4's. Same $ amount, just less shares. That at least gets me on the board at 4's. I'll put in a small 3's order also. If it fills it fills...
Thanks all!
