They have had that offer for some time now. They have been looking for other alternatives and I believe they still are. Just because that offer is on the table doesn't mean it will be used.

Since this quarterly report shows events through April 30 it would be impossible to show revenue from delivery of product ordered after that date. (PR on May 1st)
Naysayers are working hard to ignore this, but their lack of knowledge about a chip doesn't mean that those who have seen it and evaluated are wrong.

My take on those who claim Rim is a scam and has no viable product.
You remind me of those people who believe in evolution by random design. Intelligent design is absolutely true. The discussion should be what the intelligence is, not whether intelligence was involved. People who don’t believe in intelligent design, choose to do so because they don’t want to believe, despite the evidence. They can look at the human skeletal structure with joints, ligaments, tendons, and lubrication; the muscular structure; nervous system; organs that process air, clean the blood, regulate blood sugar, get rid of waste, pump blood, control body functions; blood with all of it’s capabilities; DNA (which is a humungous amount of information) etc., etc., and have no evidence for how those designs came to be, but are so committed to random design that they defy all logic, ignore all the facts staring them in the face, and stay blind to the truth.
In a much smaller but similar way, the discussion about Cupria should be how well it will perform, and whether Rim can get it to market, not whether or not it exists. People who claim that Cupria is a scam would have to say that all of the following are untrue, and all of the statements are lies regardless of the evidence. Now one of the reasonings that they use, is that someone who is paid, is not independent, so they can’t be trusted. Based on that logic, then they also can’t be trusted to represent the company honestly for whom they work, because they are paid. Ask them to show just ONE bit of evidence that any of the following companies or individuals have a previous history of any sort of deliberate deception. They will provide you with none!
Let’s take a couple of examples. Telcordia is one of the leading labs in their field. If their reports were bogus, they would no longer be in business because none of their reporting would be worth anything. Consequently no one would hire them anymore. I would guess that they are paid by EVERY company to do their analyses, so just because they are paid, does not mean they are untrustworthy. That logic is just plain silly.
Hellosoft has on it’s BOD, Vinad Dham, who was considered the father of the Pentium processor. Now what reason would there be for him and the rest of the BOD to allow the president of HS to be involved in perpetuating a fraud? Again, a ridiculous assumption.
Now let’s look at some of the statements.
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Rim Semiconductor's Embarq(TM) chips deliver up to 200 Mbps -- 100 percent faster than traditional VDSL2 technology. That is the conclusion of a research report from Telcordia Technologies, formerly Bell Labs. Telcordia found that semiconductors from Rim Semiconductor Company(TM) (OTCBB:RSMI), an innovator in video-over-copper technology, outperform VDSL2 chips in both speed and quality -- the two key technology issues for telecommunications companies trying to offer very high-speed data services, as well as video services, such as Internet Protocol Television (IPTV).
"Rim Semiconductor has developed a new and very different very-high-speed DSL that achieves higher bit rates than VDSL2 on both short and long loops," says Dr. Kenneth J. Kerpez, senior scientist, Applied Research, Telcordia Technologies. "Carriers now have a powerful tool to offer a full range of services. The technology from Rim Semiconductor also has unique capabilities for carriers, including efficient modulation technology for higher speed transmission, and an on-the-fly adaptive equalization to limit noise that can cause service disruption on a line carrying IPTV signals."
This would be perpetuating Securities fraud if not true
"The offset QAM algorithm inside CupriaT is absolutely at the leading edge of any transport processor in the world," states Krishna Yarlagadda, President of HelloSoft .(www.hellosoft.com). HelloSoft, which currently employs 130 people, has recently dedicated a team of experienced hardware, software and management engineers both in San Jose, California and in its development center in Hyderabad, India to the commercialization of CupriaT. This staff has completed its review of the hardware, software and competitive position and has concluded that the CupriaT family of transport processors has unique features and benefits that set it apart from the competition that will allow it to offer very significant advantages to the world's telecommunications carriers.
The most significant advantage of the technology is the ability to reach farther and faster on a single pair of unshielded twisted pair copper with a higher data throughput than the announced VDSL, VDSL2, ADSL, ADSL2, and ADSL2+ products from New Visual's competitors. This is achieved because the underlying technologies that reside inside the Cupria™ processor are unique and very powerful. "These elegant and accurate OQAM processes, combined with a powerful data modulator and demodulator, yields performance results that are better than we have seen from any other company", stated Mr. Yarlagadda.

“HelloSoft has long been recognized as the leader in VOIP software”, stated Rama Sreeramaneni, Vice President and General Manager of HelloSoft. “This is the first time that our software suite has migrated into a DSL transport processor, so the E30 is a ‘world-first’. We believe that market demand for processor-based VOIP will be very high.”

As the User Design Group Manager for VLSI Technology's San Jose Design Center, Mr. Moxon supervised an engineering team that was responsible for over 135 ASIC designs in one year. Prior to joining Rim Semi, he was the Director of Engineering Operations for Enuclia Semiconductor, Inc. of Beaverton, Oregon, where he built the infrastructure of their engineering team, supporting forty developers. Through his consulting company, Moxon Design, Mr. Moxon led numerous projects for Conexant Systems, Cray Research, Hewlett-Packard, SGI, Adobe and others. Mr. Moxon is currently on the editorial board of Chip Design Magazine.
"I am excited to lead Rim Semiconductor’s product development teams, because I believe that the Embarq™ family of transport processors will deliver breakthrough solutions in IPTV,” said Tom Moxon. “Based on the quality of the existing FPGA version of Embarq™, I am confident that the upcoming ASSP version will achieve our design goals.”

Mr. Wojcik achieved significant success leading large organizations as well as building and developing startup teams. His efforts have resulted in the implementation of hundreds of millions of dollars in network solutions equipment and services during his career. Mr. Wojcik has held many leadership positions including vice president of sales for Alcatel, co-founder and executive of Neutral Tandem Inc., and a member of the research and development staff at Tellabs. Most recently he was Area Vice President of Sales at Telmar Network Technology (formerly Somera Communications).
“Rim Semiconductor has developed powerful technology offering tremendous advantages to telecommunications companies and equipment manufacturers,” stated Mr. Wojcik. “I believe that the Company has an opportunity to develop a strong customer base”.

PORTLAND, OR: September 21, 2006: Rim Semiconductor Company (OTCBB: RSMI) today announced that it has appointed Dr. “David” Boon Tiong Tan to its Board of Directors. Dr. Tan was formerly the head of the Technology Development Department of SingTel, Asia’s leading telecommunications group, where he was responsible for the development of the DSL and ATM infrastructure. He later joined Mediacorp Singapore in 2000 and managed its technology fund. More recently, Dr. Tan headed the NUS Venture Support unit where he was responsible for the funding and incubation of technology start-ups from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Tan holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University.
"Rim Semiconductor is focused on solving the most important problem in telecommunications today," explained Dr. Tan. "Carriers are struggling with the demand for faster Internet access speeds and higher quality over longer distances, and Rim Semi’s technology holds the promise of realizing their business goals. With the rapid growth of the broadband industry in the Asia-Pac countries such as Korea, Japan and China, the next few years will be very exciting and challenging for Rim Semi, and I am delighted to assist them in their growth.”

Rim’s BOD would all be guilty of perpetuating Securities fraud if Rim was a scam.
PORTLAND, OR -- December 18, 2006 -- Rim Semiconductor Company (OTCBB: RSMI), an innovator in video-over-copper technology, announced that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Inc. (TSMC) will manufacture its new Cupria™ 5001 transport processor. Rim Semi’s Cupria™ 5001 will be produced at TSMC’s Hsinchu Science Park location in Taiwan. TSMC is the world’s largest semiconductor foundry operating ten fabrication plants globally, five at this location, and also has substantial external capacity commitments at its joint venture fab, SSMC.
“Rim Semi’s innovative broadband technology, which increases the capacity of existing telephone networks, will provide the telecommunications market with a state-of-the-art solution for high-speed data applications,” said Jack Harding, chairman, president and CEO of eSilicon Corporation. “We are very excited about Rim Semi’s market opportunity and are pleased to become an equity partner.”
“By incorporating Rim Semiconductor’s Cupria ™ chip solution, our new products will have a significant performance advantage versus our competitors in the Asian markets,” says Koji Suga, Vice President of Logic Research. “Rim Semiconductor has designed and developed a better performing solution than other chips currently on the market—and we can better meet the performance requirements of our customers.”

Every ONE of them would have to be lying for it to be a scam.
Bernd Schlueter, Managing Director of Axellence, stated, “Based on our conversations with our existing customers, we believe Rim Semiconductor’s Cupria™ product line is superior to the competition and will have tremendous success in our marketplace. Axellence has contributed to significant design wins and revenue growth of many innovative technology companies in Europe.”
Again, Securities fraud if not true
For anyone to believe that ALL of the above people are willing to subject themselves to major fines and jail time to perpetuate this scam, is just absurd in my opinion. Many people form conclusions with faulty assumptions, such as “if they can’t raise money under good terms then they can’t have a viable tech.” Well, those two things require two different sets of skills. Also, if you haven’t tried to raise money under similar conditions, then you aren’t qualified to make that call. Another faulty assumption is that if management makes more money than you think they should then the tech can’t be viable. Those two things have nothing to do with each other. I’m not making a case for salaries or bonuses, I’m just saying that they are unrelated to whether or not they have the tech.
I have visited the office a number of times, and have seen it grow from 950 sq ft to 2500 sq ft, to about 9500 sq ft now. There is no way that Brad would pay that much money per month to perpetuate a fraud since 99% of shareholders never see the office. Also, there are about 20 employees now, with 9 full time engineers. When I was there in January I saw 6 full time engineers in the static free lab. I also spent an hour with the head engineer, Tom Moxon, asking all kinds of questions.
If that isn't enough for you, consider v 1.3 1.4 and 1.5 of the FPGA that they have announced as product releases in SEC filings.
Again, Securities fraud if not true
For anyone that still wants to campaign on this ridiculous platform of Cupria being a fraud, I would recommend a visit to Portland. It would probably cost you about $300 for airfare. If you aren’t willing to spend that much to check out your investment, then I don’t know what to say. You could at least call Brad for a $1 or so, and that would also make a difference.
You should also ask yourself the following questions:
Why is Dave Wojcik moving his family from Colorado to Portland?
Why did 2 in-depth reviews by the SEC turn up NO irregularities?
What is Asiakey going to show at the Singapore show this month?
If anyone wants to repost this in the future to re-iterate the points feel free. I don't plan to waste time debating the issues or reposting them over and over.
Hey!! 23% gain today. Nice little bounce. I just thought somebody should say something about it.
Ernie
Line cards look very similar because they have to hook up inside the same equipment in the same spot as other line cards. You can't see the differences in the circuitry just like the chips look similar except for the label.
FPGA will continuously be developed as to different versions and applications.
I knew (and posted here before) that even if the product exists as touted it would be a "fluke" just like this world with it's beauty and complexity emerging from a muck.
The product would have no relation to hard work, contacts, or the money spent. In other words the company was/is a scam, who by shear chance (fluke) had the product it has claimed to be developing fall into it's lap from out of the sky.
I am not contesting that there have been mistakes and delays, very costly ones. I assume that there have been at least spins if not a few out in out lies, but from all the outside claims to the techs veracity, I can not doubt it's existence. The company has barely stayed alive and persisted in it's quest to develop the tech. I cannot condone lying, but not having been privy to the exact conversations I am not in a position to judge them.
Ernie
Sherman, we have several on this board who based on 10,000 posts have expertise in posting that this is a scam. These people are risking their aliases that what they say is true. Only a couple are known as actual people, but all these people might have to fill out another on line form and start posting under another name if we believe all the evidence you have presented.
Are we to believe people who have expertise with related tech and have seen and evaluated the product, or should we believe those who have no such expertise, exposure to the tech, or credibility to lose.
I may not like the pace, or the share price, but I still am willing to wait. I only wish I could buy more at this prices.
Did you see this awesome presentation on the new computing system?

The final installment of the Bill Narin interview posted this am on ticktockstock, com.
Ernie
What I am saying is lack of high overhead does not mean that they are not doing the business. I avoided saying anything to discredit you because you are a new alias, because it doesn't really matter to me if what you state is true or not as it doesn't definitively say what volume of business Extreme Copper does. A significant volume of business can be done by a few techs. I know a companies that do a huge business from their home computer with no actual warehouse.
Another part of your statement of believe what you see not what you hear is I would believe what I see if I see it. I believe what the PR says before I believe what a new alias (I don't believe unknown aliases at all) says he saw.
Ernie
If Extreme Coppers business were operating out of someones garage it wouldn't prove anything. If your business is installing equipment at other premises all you need is a place to receive the equipment and service vehicles.
Sure it would be nice for us to see we were doing business with someone with huge offices and a few secretaries, and maybe a couple of vice presidents in charge of different departments, but in and of itself, the absence of that does not prove anything.
Ernie
Bill, you said cable doesn't combine "lines" to achieve the speed they achieve... they combine "channels"
5.
The technology, called DOCSIS 3.0, was developed by the cable industry's research arm, Cable Television Laboratories. It bonds together four cable lines but is capable of allowing much more capacity.
Ernie
No, I didn't find the Ketch interview. I found the Dave Wojcik interview. I may have been wrong about which one was available to the public.

Serious people should take a look at the board. It's the only one I've been willing to pay for. Not a lot of daily posting, but quite a bit or Rim and industry related information.
Ernie
That was just a small part of part 2 of a 3 part report available on the ticktockstock board.
There are also interviews posted with Brad Ketch, Dave Wojcik, and Tom Moxon.
I believe only the Ketch and Narin interviews have been posted in the public section.(so far)

LET'S TAKE A VOTE!! Will Rim win? For starters supporters have 10,000 votes as obviously 10,000 stockholders have voted with their dollars that Rim will succeed. Even some stockholders who have doubts, or some negative opinions are voting yes by the very act of leaving their dollars in this investment. O.K. now the naysayers can vote and count their opinions against the 10,000.
Ernie
OT> Well my wife is about to get home from work and I will have much better things to do. I have actually accomplished quite a bit today. Car waxing, lawn mowing and edging. Sprinkler system repair. So, the time spent slumming today hasn't hurt me too much.
Ernie
Boy. I like your figures. So, anyone can just invest their money at 36% and if you haven't your a loser.
Really.
Besides I have actually done pretty well thank you.
Ernie
Mark, from post 60047 "I was just killing time on this holiday and thought I would take a look at what you were saying.
Having you on ignore and periodically taking you off are two different things. So I'm slumming it today, sue me.
Ernie
Bill, everyone sees, hears, and understands, based on their own expectations, and core beliefs. It's called filtering.
Ray and I have talked once in possibly two years (at least one).
Pretty amazing spoon feeding.
You say that Rim has no credibility or momentum. That is your filter showing. None of the statements that any company or person has said lately means anything to you because nothing positive can make it through your filter. If Rim said the sun came up this morning you would argue with it. That is why I have you among others on ignore. You will do and say almost anything to support your forgone conclusion.
I am mostly positive about recent developments and announcements, but in an effort to be realistic at least allow for the possibility of failure. The naysayers would have much more credibility if they did not say 100% scam. Just allowing for a slight possibility allows a little apposing viewpoints or information through your internal filter, and moves you slightly toward objectiveness.
The companies and individuals who have gotten involved with Rim, evaluated the tech, made statements about the tech have hundreds or thousands of times the credibility of anyone who has not seen or evaluated the tech. This especially is true when nobody that is saying on this board that this is a scam and there is no tech could not tell if they held it there hand in a lab full of testing equipment if it was real.
Ernie
I was just killing time on this holiday and thought I would take a look at what you were saying. First most of what the regular naysayers have to say is so biased that I would tend to disbelieve any thing any of you have to say immediately. Every time an actual investor has anything to say you pick it apart and demand proven facts from verifiable sources and then proceed to question the source of that. (ie. Telcordia is a defunct company that will do anything for a few dollars) On the other hand you are quite happy to through stuff out without any expectation that you should have to prove sources, prices, distance, etc. You guys can just say anything you want and just slap each other on the back, and verify each other's stories.
Regardless of what cable can do with enough lines and if only one person is active on that line at a time. Or What wireless can do if your close enough to a repeater, and there is not a metal, or stucco wall (with wire mess) in the way, and no other electronics devices interfere with the signal while your in the middle of something.
Regardless of all that copper is in more places already , throughout the world. If Rim can provide what the telcos are asking for with the price point they want they can rule copper.
Oh, by the way Bill, cable is copper.
Your argument mean to me that your job is in danger, Bill, because everything to do with paper is obsolete, because everyone can carry a PDA and do more. Why pollute the world with waste paper.
All, this to me means nothing, because in the end it will not affect what Rim does, or fails to do. The ball is in their court.
Ernie
Big alan, there is an extremely good article about wireless internet posted at www.tick tock stock.com. It was reposted by destiny under industry news post #314. It is well worth a good read. Shows what I have been feeling all along. It's a good thing when you don't have access to copper or fiber.
There are several interviews that were in the exclusive section (not available to the unpaid public) that have been reposted in the Rim Semi forum pages 43 and 44.
Ernie
Somebody should drive by and see if Goldrusher exists. There is almost no evidence of that in spite of the voluminous posts in his alleged alias.
Go Rim!! Ernie
No, we don't allow any repeated information on this board. LOL
I appreciated the link myself.
Go Rim!!!
Ernie
I at times think nobody is posting, but if I look at the post numbers I can see the history buffs have been hard at work. I only see about 20% of the posts, and although I have always liked history I don't reread things. Very few books do I read more than once. It is almost a waste for me to buy movies, the only ones I watch a second time is if I don't recognize it. So, I don't need to hear the same things over and over even if they are slightly redressed.
I believe that Rim has the goods and will deliver them. The outstanding is a concern as Cupria will have to be universally deployed to bring significant SP. However, I think the odds are fair that that will happen.
Ernie
Actually, I asked Brad and Ray awhile back about how important it was for us to post our thoughts and support. I asked only because Ray used to tell us how important it was. They both said (something to the effect of) the board was no longer going to affect the success of the company. The board was a nice hobby, but don't get too caught up in it.
Ernie
Pengy nice to hear from you.
The tactics of the bashers here made me think of the insurgents in Iraq. They have no vested interest in this company (or so they claim) but they hammer away at us day after day for years thinking we don't have the stomach for the fight. Many of the believers in this company have faded into the background. However, the bashing is not having a pronounced affect on the main objective of the company.
They may scare off some investors which does have some affect on the SP. However, in the long run the victory will belong to the supporters.
Ernie
To all newbies and even not so newbies. In all my years of reading and posting on message boards and being in this investment I don’t think I have seen anyone post a more objective (and in my view accurate synopsis of this investment) than Ozborne22. In the short time he has been in this investment he has obviously done research on the investment and the postings on this board. You would do well to review his postings. From the first one;

I have a fairly large position in RIM purchase over last spring and early summer. This is the first time I have invested in an OTC.BB and I have to confess the level of discourse on this board seems to be very positional. People either think it is a scam and continue to say so in very creative ways or people 100% believe in the company.
Everything that I have read is consistent with a company trying to raise as much money as they can while giving up a little equity as they can. My research shows they are being strategic in the use of their dollars and they are leveraging the small amount of resources they have.
I invested because I decided and continue to believe that RIM has a significant risk / reward profile. The risks I see are many: Do they have enough capital to deliver on the engineering and marketing strategies. Do they or eSilicon have the engineering capability to move the technology to an ASSP. Will the technology deliver enough of what is promised to compete with VDSL2. Is there a better technology out there that would displace ISPL. Will my investment need to be diluted to execute on the companies business strategy. RIM is unknown and not a market leader. RIM is small.
These are all significant risks.
But I weighed the risks at a 40 Million market capitalization or thereabouts. If they sell the product now to early adapters and they get enough sales in the proof of concept stage I believe they will have sales this year between 4M to 10M. I think they will ship on a small amount of those sales because they will be shipping chip sets and not the ASSP. While this won’t get them to break even with their burn rate and the financing of needed growth it does provide a foundation for 2008. Their gross margins are solid with the technology selling and the cash being generated ... this I believe will raise the stock price. The further sales and subsequent market proof of concept will also add value. This I believe will bring a market capitalization of 400 million in 2008. This is the reward part of the investment. A 10X return. I think this will happen which is why I put my money at risk. The very real downside is with an OTC BB is the stock can go to 0 very fast if the technology does not deliver.
I have invested and consulted to a number of DSL technology companies before. I have made money and lost money. All were much much larger firms. My biggest loss was with Turnstone Systems Inc. I made a significant amount of money with Covad. I had some friends much smarter than I am check out the RIM technology. They found it promising.
VDLS2 doesn’t deliver what the phone companies need right now. RIM is accurate in this assessment. Can RIM deliver better is the risk. Does it exist or not is really not the right question. Does it deliver is the right question. They will deliver to Extreme Copper a chip set not the ASSP. Will it work? Extreme doesn’t know and neither does RIM. It will be proven over time and in reality adjusted over time. Most chips now days need to be “finessed” through software adjustments. I really don’t have any idea if this is going to be market dominating technology or not and no one can. But in my assessment they will easily announce sales during each of the successive quarters. They do have something that works. It is promising and equipment vendors will buy it to see if they can get a competitive advantage. They will make bets on RIM so they gain their own market advantage. RIM will book and ship business in 2007. It should drive stock prices up and when it does the company will have to give up less equity to fund growth.
ISPL SIG is the right marketing move.
Their burn rate is manageable.
Many of the patents can be found if you search the US patent office.
Extreme Copper exists and is committed to building its market dominance using RIM technology.
Embarq is evaluating the technology.
All of this news lowers the risk.
So the bet is ... will RIM shares go up as other companies bet on the technology to see if it gives them a marketplace advantage. Because even as they make their bets we won’t know for sure if the RIM technology will provide a significant market place advantage.
I expect to see little wins throughout the rest of the year. Hopefully this will build the stock price over time. Once the sales and technology gets further vetted in the marketplace the risk will decrease but the share price will be higher so you reduce your risk but also your reward. In the history of this company it is offering the best risk reward profile. While the future will lower the risk it should also move the price of the stock. We know the most, we have the best proof of concept to date.
I hope my thinking and analysis is useful to others.
To comments in other posts such as the following excerpts from other posts; do not believe it is a scam but I do think what they are delivering on is hard to do. Technology is complex and the establishment of a new standard is harder still.
Doing it on a limited budget makes it even harder. And If I was a shareholder for many years and did not have good news I might have many more challenges with management. In my ten months I have seen good progression in business goals. I have seen the right strategies delivered. I am concerned they are underfunded. I am expecting more results.
Look it is hard to grow a business. Hard to deliver a technological solution. Companies are hard to fund through the “does the product exist phase”. This management team is upgrading each step of the way. A first sale in any business is always looked at positively. It speaks to progression ... not completion. In reviewing and looking over the last 12 months everything that I can see is moving in a positive direction. Everything is being vetted through either outside involvement or testing. With a Sales Agent sales force in Europe and a Sales Agent sales force in Asia and with direct selling in North America this team will make consistent sales. It takes a while to build a sales funnel that allows for projections but I expect in 2008 RIM will move from making announcements of sales when they occur to be able to project sales number by estimating from the level of activity in their client base.
see most people on this board have drawn a conclusion and then argue to support their conclusion. Much of this adds little new information to the dialogue but it does create for some interesting drama. That is not to say that I have not learned more about the company by going back and reading many of the posts.
It sure seems like a number of investors & interested parties who are not investors but somehow feel they want to help others to not invest because they are sure any new investor can not do their own due diligence and will lose money ... are upset about two things, how funds were acquired and how funds were disbursed. (ya I know ... a run on sentence)
It looks like the funding was what the company could both attract and afford. What is also present is a commitment through time to keep the business afloat to realize the potential of the technology. The real issue I see in looking over the history where you could be upset with the company’s management is ... why they didn’t use more of thier shares and sell those shares at the higher price so they would have a better cash position for developing the tech. But I could say the same thing about a lot of decisions I made. Looking backwards it is easy to see when to sell and buy.
I know of many companies that did not make it through the last 8 years. This one has persevered. This one is moving out of the development stage and into marketing stage.
It also seems like some are upset with what management pays itself. I guess some can say they are keeping it alive to keep their compensation packages alive. I do not find the packages a challenge at all. In some cases they are less than what others make and in some cases more. It is probably more a matter of personal perspective.
All of this is a moot point when further sales roll in this year. We can speculate but the proof will be in the sales. With more significant sales what management makes disappears as an issue.
RIM has used shares to fund the business. This dilutes existing share holders and keeps the overall investment alive. This year they are making sales and making revenue. This proves the concept to a degree. But the big significant win will come with big sales. These will probable occur in 2008. RIM’s strategy is to both license and build its own chips. Both strategies will bring cash flow to fund future expansion.
Great risk reward profile. Hold for long term wins. Do your own research.
Since I have been involved over the past year everything hinted at or announced has come true. The progression of activities points directly to a company moving from development to sales. From design to manufacturing.
Please review all his posts in their entirety to get the full gist of what he has to say. Most of the rest of us are much too biases and emotionally involved in this company and message board to be this objective.

I didn't see all the posts I am sure responded to my last couple of posts, and I don't care what they have to say. I was told by PM that Bill,
150 mbps is with 4 cables bonded together. It also doesn't mention at what distance. If you bonded 4 copper pairs together, Rim could give 800 mbps according to the Telcordia report.

I had another thought while my wife and I were discussing this investment. I said the other day that I was always a distance man. One thing I learned while climbing hills and mountains whether on foot or bike, is if you look up the hill at what you perceive to be the top, novices will put all their energy into reaching that point. When you reach that point you get a new vantage point. From that vantage point you now see another climb facing you. If you have expended all your energy getting to that point you are finished whether you reached your goal or not. If you don't know the course, you must set a pace that you can sustain indefinitely. That way when faced with another challenge you can keep going. Only when you can see the finish line can you go all out.
I think that scenario applies to investing to. If you can't handle, delays, disappointments ect. don't go all in until you see the finish line for sure.

Actually, as for "the liar and scam artist" comment. I have a much different take on it than some. First prior management did me and others very wrong. My investment was lost. Ray came on the scene and worked his tale off at his own expense to keep the company alive, thereby saving my investment. Some believe that Ray in his exuberance promised them return on a timetable that has loooooooooong since not been met. So, some term this lying and scamming. I don't agree. If when Ray said these things he believed them, and they didn't come to pass during his expected time frame, then he was wrong, but not necessarily a liar. If his time frame was not met, and his price point not met, then here to he was mistaken, but not necessarily lying and scamming.
I first of all, thank Ray for keeping this company alive and therefore my investment alive. Second although he can never come through on the time line, we still haven't seen the results of price point.
I believe accusations like lying, and scamming must include intention. I believe Ray always had success as his intention, and from his viewpoint that success was always just around the corner.
The only way you can prove to me that Ray was a lying scam artist is if you can prove the tech never existed. At this point with the statements we are seeing from other companies (see Buy-Lows summary post if you need a reminder) I think proving the tech doesn't exist (much less never existed)is an impossibility.
At this point if I were asked to prove some one is a lying scam artist it would be much easier to prove that those that point a finger at Ray et al have 4 fingers pointing back at them. In case you didn't get that, I'm saying that there is much more evidence that the tech exists and therefore did exist the whole time is easier than proving it doesn't. Therefore the naysayers should be defending themselves instead of accusing others. Especially those who say 100%scam.

I see by your, The bottom line is you were taken by a liar and a scam artist.
Get over it and get on with your lives.
I hope to do better the next time I buy a stock. I hope you all do too.
I would put you more in the basher side of the discussion, but more to the point. I made money on KDMV and lost on NTRZ ($50 LOL) and I have even made money on Rim and expect to make more. Granted it has taken SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! much longer than anyone expected, but the final result is yet to be seen.( I am saying timing and attitude is very important to investing)
I agree whole heartedly with the main premise of your post.
I am truly amazed that so many folks spend so much time rehashing the same old issues. If we live to the average age of 75 years, we have about 657,000 hours and after deducting for sleep we have about 450,000 to enjoy life. Please don't waste another minute here ranting and raving. Take that time and hug your children or grandchildren. Take a walk and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Read a good book or do a crossword. Volunteer your time at a hospice or become a sponsor for someone in a 12 step program.
Ernie
When your called on your bashing you call it "just small talk". However, everything you post is a jab at the company born of your longstanding feud that your involvement with New Wheel came to nothing. It is fine that you have issues, but be honest , it has nothing to do with whether or not Rim has the technology or not or will be successful or not. You are stuck in the past and on your own feeling of being slighted like several here.
Just keeping it real, Ernie
I agree. It seams purposeful, however, the dinner the previous night was apparently wide open for questions . They probably felt that that was adequate.
Ernie
What are you talking about??? It's nothing about nothing, but your trying to make it some kind of accusation. Kind of pathetic.
Ernie
I remember reference to other patents and rights to patents from Adaptive made much prior to the acquisition or 1021 Tech. Those are probably under New Visual's name.
Ernie
I think the post was much too objective to be Spoke. Ozborne actually stated some positives. Some of us get very optimistic at times. We are very anxious to see our patience pay off. It was refreshing to see an objective opinion voiced in a very articulate and obviously experienced way.
and yes I saw your LOL so I know you weren't serious.
Ernie
Welcome to the board. I think your previous post is the best and fairest overall summary and evaluation of this company I have ever seen.
Thank you, Ernie
I believe I'll have to stop calling our bashers naysayers and refer to them as our comedy team. The continued protests are just that ludicrous.
The list of company and individual quotes verifying Cupria's existence and performance I believe outnumbers the comedy team. Members of the comedy team have no access to the tech or inside info. So, there uninformed opinion cannot outweigh the opinion of industry experts who have had the opportunity to evaluate our tech.
Basically, I'm saying give it up boys, you have lost the battle, and have no credibility.
Ernie
I can't believe the continued protests of the naysayers in the face of mounting evidence of Rims legitimacy. Sure this first purchase order is small, but it is a start. I believe the increased interest, awareness, and evaluations of our tech is reaching critical mass. When the various telcos, and equipment makers are through evaluating a time will come when any company that does not have our chip will be left in the dust. When that happens Rim and Cupria will literally explode on the scene.
At that time many sources will report the instant success we have had, disregarding the years of agony and struggle it took to get there.
Then as GaryInPB says we will be the at least Global Stabdard, and possibly the intergalatic standard as I believe Cupria will be on board space vehicles and in the space station. Other planets may be a reach. LOL
Ernie
There are still questions for the shareholders meeting regarding this. Especially as it is not enough to cover the "additional funds needed" to reach mass production. Is the P.O. for FPGA, or chip form? Expected delivery(?), as the revenue will not be posted until delivery and payment.
I like it, but can't wait to hear more.
