From what I recall Mark or Vivek stated that they are aiming for a universal type model that can be used across many different machines. For instance, if a company was to buy an EOS machine and also an Arcam machine they can both be equipped with PR3D and the model would be consistent between the two. This model would be more attractive than one that includes multiple different quality suites.
Back in end of last week =) added some at open today too.
And it just so happens to be with HONEYWELL Aerospace! No big deal. Lol
Also note that Honeywell has been working with Sigma to help test and develop DEFORM, what this contract tells me is that they like what they see. IMO, the DEFORM module release is what everyone is waiting for before they place any orders for PR3D. Honeywell has the advantage of already having used it so it is only natural that they would make a commitment to preorder.
It would help if SGLB news showed up on iHub newsfeed. I emailed Chris Witty about this......again. *sigh

Awesome news today!! $SGLB
$ENZ run over? Looks like it
I am a little bias, but I am thinking best move for SGLB PR is open house produces a material contract is to wait until the ticker is not so overbought. Needs to consolidate before next leg up. Hovering above .10 for a few days would be a nice area (but I will take em cheaper if they become available =)
HotStocked articles usually summon the shorts to pounce. But what do I know? I thought the run was over on the first day but it was only just beginning. Lol
Nah, the usual suspects, CSTI, CANT are controlling for now. NITE backed off.
Need $25k+ to be PDT status, I was down to about half of that and decided to consolidate cash and IRA accounts. TD Amer offers a limited "margin" IRA that my current broker does not. So I was in the process of transferring the account so I would be able to have 3 freerides per PDT span and also would not have to wait for funds to settle before selling a security on the next day.
Yep, very poor timing on my part. *sigh, luckily this is my "play" money and not my livelihood. So, although it hurts, it is not detrimental. Just a bit frustrated, lol.
Thanks Bert, appreciate the kind words.
Congrats Dadx!
Welp, I'm just over here in my office punching myself in the face. I made the mistake of assuming the same retrace as we usually get after any promo or news. I lost a lot of $ on the SGLB downtrend and lost my PDT status. I have been waiting for another run so I can transfer my IRA to another broker that offers a limited margin for IRAs to get 3 roundtrip approval and not have to wait for funds to settle. Well, I sold in the .06' thinking I had 5-10 days to rebuy lower than my exit once the transfer was complete. Well, looks like I picked the worst run to do the transfer. So now I sit with no shares looking at an overbought chart asking myself, is this going to keep running or will it retrace. A year and a half of watching everyday and waiting for this kind of run, and I missed it. This is literally the only time since the end of 2013 that I have no shares at all of SGLB.
Thanks Wick, still showing last years though, will check back periodically. My main focus will be on the impact of the EOS machine acquisition, and what the O/S is/was.
Is there a link to the actual 10k anywhere? Don't see it filed anywhere yet. TIA
Boxing, see which moves first for his intentions. Seems to be the Axe right now.
BID or ASK? What's he showing?
You have to admit that he is probably right about MM's having to cover, it is consistent with SGLB's trading history, but as long as buyers are still around for the bounce after they cover, next let will be to .10. I have a feeling that whoever was behind this run is aware of that and there will be another surge after consolidation.
Awareness campaigns aren't all that detrimental unless the company has nothing to offer. In the case of $SGLB, there is a lot in the pipeline. Bringing awareness prior to the PR's we are expecting will only help.
MM's will play their games, we consolidate, and wait for news. Once that happens the REAL fun begins. As long as Sigma executes like we all think they will we will fly. Everyone saw how fast this ticker can move on moderate volume. Hold a core position and wait for the boom. Liquidity will follow, and MM's will no longer have to fill short.
GLTA! $SGLB
That was my point. No one saw the PR because no one was watching. The stock promotion is bringing awareness and now subsequent PR's will be visible. I expect future PR's to have a larger impact on the PPS that in recent memory. We shall see.
I think it is both. The recent news about next months demonstration at Sigma Labs and the Quarterly conference call at the end of the month were catalysts for an awareness campaign to gain awareness to the ticker before an influx of news that may soon be released. There is a lot going on at SGLB and commercialization of PrintRite3D is just kicking off. I think 2015 will show many progressive PR's and the awareness crowd knows that. This is where it all begins. They need to get the Ticker on everyone's watchlist so the news and progression will be visible.
.08's UP!
Ready
Huge buy at .075! Big bid 800k! Lets moooove!!
In aerospace and other highly regulated industries there is a REQUIREMENT for certified documented proof of quality assurance. Currently there are programs with NIST and America Makes to certify IN-PROCESS data as a method of approval. Any pre-process QA would not be considered as proof of quality because it does not reflect data from the ACTUAL build. Therefore, any PRE-process data would only help to eliminate quality issues. IN-process data will still be required as proof of quality once the standard is certified. Hope this answers your question.

DEFORM release within the next few weeks should give SGLB another run like this. Then, the SGLB open house next month might bring on some contracts. 2016 may very well be exciting around here!
Awesome, thanks. Drop in the bucket compared to the buying today.
IB now showing 650k to short.....Hmmm, I recalled this post and had to check.
Crazy is what it is, out of the blue. Chart looked primed last couple of days with the 4/8 MA crossed the 21Day, but I wasn't expecting this type of move. Have to see if there are other forces at work.
Haha! saw that smack right after I typed that message.
What happened to the volume? SGLB likes to play with my emotions.
WOW what a move!!
Starting to look like the SGLB of old. I can't wait to see action around here again!
This is great news, hopefully open some eyes to the technology and get some contracts rolling!
I'm here =) Very busy at work with the P&W ramp up so not much time to post. But still checking in. Thought we had a nice break of .055 when we hit .06, but retraced. Just waiting on news like the rest for now. Holding for now, won't add until some substance PRs hit.
I have been since the shelf. No sign of them yet.
Thanks Z. Can't imagine that is an actual seller. Anyone who owns 1m+ shares would not be that reckless to advertise such a large sale. Someone doesn't want SGLB to move just yet IMO
Looks to still be heading up. Oh well, profit is profit, is profit. Sold my 26's. I may have stayed in a bit longer but I am out of the office today and have the kids so watching the action all morning was not an option, lol. Curious to see how the day pans out.
Looked to struggle at the open to break 28.50, out at 28.45
Will look to re-enter after gaps filled and a little consolidation.
Thanks for your input. Following your board now also.
