Why do any of the investors need to "inspired"? Why do any of the investors need "incentive"?
What a load of garbage. All that matters is the company getting moving and getting ANYTHING done. Just one completed product would be nice.
Is that moron Blakester going to come on and talk to us about his dreams for another twenty minutes and then say there is no time for Q&A?
Shark Tank is just another excuse for delay. It will be "we can't move forward until our Shark Tank appearance". That will be the newest excuse. I can hear it now, "We are 100% ready with everything but we want to hold off until we get on Shark Tank".
What happened to the money the company has raised in the past? They sure haven't spent it wisely.
I can't wait to hear the excuses on Nov 1. They will try to tell us the website is perfect but can't be used yet.
All of that has equaled the same thing......no ROI at all.
Who would be a downer? The people who have pointed out the companies total lack of credibility in hitting so much as one deadline?
Are you suggesting that anyone saying something bad about the company is what is driving the stock down? By that logic if we say good things about the company the store will go up?
We could sit here curse out Apple all day and that isn't go to a thing to drive the price of the stock down. The companies performance is what relates to the stock moving up and down.
Someone took down my post that replied. Odd.....it didn't break any rules of the board. The only possible reason someone would have found it offensive was that it questioned the lack of progress the company has made.
No one here would be upset about that would they? Anyone who did take it down surely would have the courage of their convictions and explain what they found upsetting about it.
That was me.
I am totally worn out by the lack of progress with the company. We have been hearing of years how things are "almost there" and "inches away". They have failed to finish so much as one task they set for themselves. If that isn't bad enough they are attempting to cloud the situation with more plans/projects.
There is one thing and only one thing that matters: ROI. No one invested in Inkway with the idea of becoming an ink salesman and generating revenue so they can pay back the investors. What insane logic is that? The company took investor money (the only thing they are capable of doing it seems), then tells the investors that we must generate sales for the company so they can pay us back.
My questions on the call seem aggressive because no one has bothered to challenged the company until now. Attempts in the past were met with the company saying, "Well, can you do it better" or "Do you understand how hard it is to do (fill in the blank)." The investors DON'T have to understand and DON'T have to provide technical knowledge to the company. Inkway took investor money because they were supposed to be the ones that knew what they were doing.
The further delay of the website is troubling. We were told on July 19th it was going to be 90 days. We weren't told it was going to be 90 days from some future point. The date of October 27th by itself isn't all that upsetting but it is another indication of the lack of ability to meet any deadline.
The restricted share issue is massive. Even the most blind Inkway investor couldn't have imagined that the company would not release our shares for public trading. There can only be sinister motives behind not releasing the shares. There is no legitimate reason why this issue is not resolved today.
I wouldn't be shocked at all if very soon they stop taking questions at all. Inkway clearly doesn't like to be challenged and tried to play the "family" and "be positive" line of reasoning with me on Saturday. We aren't a family and being positive it pathetic. If we all hold hands and sing campfire songs will that make the company work better? ROI matters and nothing else.
I sent Robert an email (I don't expect a reply) asking what nerve he had to prattle on with his motivational talk for 20-25 minute and then CUT THE CALL OFF AT 1:00. What shady garbage was that? Linda announced there were a lot of callers waiting and Robert decided "not to waste our time" and ended the call. Maybe stop talking about dreams and geese and pick up a few of the calls Robert.
I'd like to post more but various people on this board have restricted me to one post a day. There motivations seem clear.
Remember that one thing and only one thing matters: ROI. The rest of it worthless.
Thank you for the kind words.
I'd post more than once but various people on this board have conspired to limit me to one post a day.
Views on the call yesterday
1-October 27th is not in the 90 day window. We were told on July 19th that it was 90 days. It wasn't 90 days from some future point past July 19th.
2-More worthless motivational speeches from Robert. He wastes 20-25 minutes of the call with that stuff through poems and fortune cookie rip-offs but then ends the call at 1 PM EST. He flat out knew there were other people on the call and he ends the call with the excuse of not wasting our time. Here is an idea Robert: DONT WASTE OUR TIME WITH YOUR GARBAGE IN THE BEGINNING.
Anyone else sick of hearing about his dreams? How do his dreams put any money in our pockets?
3-They spend a whole lot of time talking about how people who invested in the company have to create revenue so they can repaid on their investment. Are they out of their minds?????????!!!!!!!!! The founders and stockholders have to create sales so the company can pay us back? What upside down world are they living in? Robert basically got on there yesterday and said that anyone who invested in Inkway bought themselves a job. I'm sure every single person invested in this company had the idea of becoming an ink salesman.
4-The restricted share issues is a slap in the face to anyone who purchased it. How can they not have worked this out by now?
5-The "big box" deal is the same as it has always been. It is coming "soon". We have been hearing that for years. It is just another pie in the sky dream until we see it.
6-The company is totally ADD. They cannot finish anything. They just keep coming up with new dreams and projects to be added to unfinished ones. They are mumbling now about a printer.
7-No talk of ROI again. Bring it up on the call and they freeze like a deer in headlights.
I don't have a plan. I don't need a plan. I'm not the CEO.
Inkway tries to put it on the investors when we ask questions. They have said, "Well, do you know how to build a webpage?" or "Do know about the back office programming issues?" It isn't the job of the founders or the investors to have a plan. We gave our money to Inkway because we assumed they had a plan.
We gave them our money. They are REALLY good at processing that part of their business. Nothing else works at all.
I am pretty sure people that invest in Microsoft or Amazon aren't expected to come up with some form of company vision or provide technical knowledge. They expect to see ROI for their investment.
That is all that matters here people...ROI. It is 100% the entire reason anyone gave Inkway a dime.
I think there is a good chance they won't even take calls today. They will say something like, "We have a quick update on Lenny and will hold off on all calls until he is back." Then Robert will read some stupid Frost poem about people coming out of the dark woods into the light of day.
I could not disagree more. They said 90 days. They promised 90 days. November is not 90 days. What is this artificial deadline of November? Even if we did agree to that you know EXACTLY what is going to happen. They will miss it and say, "Let's really push hard in 2015."
Nope....letting them off the hook for the 90 days is 100% unacceptable. Anyone who thinks it is okay to go into November needs to explain to their fellow founders and investors why we should wait for ROI.
ROI is ALL that matters here. Nothing else.
Were they talking about launching the retail side of the business two years ago? I'm looking to create a timeline of the excuses.
Thank you for your well thought out post.
I would have to disagree with them just saying "we aren't giving dates." They asked for investor money. They set deadlines that haven't been reached.
I've seen this type of stuff before. They will announce they are "ready" but something will happen. It will either be that they have to get their hemp line to work with the website or more likely someone in the company will have a family emergency. Someone in the company will have a family member with a health issue and we will be told that we just have to be patient. After all, what is money compared to life? I've seen this type of thing before.
Wasn't this Robert Blakester brought in to get the website running and launch off the ground? He said it was going to be launched in Nov 2013. A few more months and he will be as far behind his deadline as Duane was.
A few screen shots of a website that we can't see won't cut it. How do we even know that website is real? They could have done that all with Microsoft and said, "see if you click this button."
It is just great that we can give people business cards or coffee mugs. Of all the things NOT to waste time on. The website is a 100% failure but you can give someone a coffee mug.
"Soon" isn't part of a business plan. "Soon" is a prayer.
Just got off the webinar. They flat out refuse to set a date of launch or retail websites.
We have gone from May 2013 to "sometime in the summer" to Nov 2013 to Jan 2014 to never. It will never launch.
How many followers do you need in order to come up with the crap that you spew here daily?
Oh wait, let me guess....you just "know" it is going to $.10 next week?
Maybe you aren't fake. If you aren't I apologize. Just getting annoyed with the fake people on here the last two weeks with their charts, their "inside information", their price targets.
When one of your statements come true then maybe you will have some street cred.
Empty barrels make the most noise.
You keep buying millions of shares but the price keeps going down?
Which fake name were you using last week?
Whatever, none of your statements have come true yet.
Thank you for your efforts and information. Any frustration is never directed at you.
It needs to be more than progress. We have gone from May 20th to "sometime in the summer" to November to Jan 2014. I'm way past the point of looking for progress. A bunch of PRs are worthless. They aren't worth the time they took to draft. A hemp website? They can't get an ink website launched. Is the hemp website going to slow down the ink website?
Results matter and we are back to where we have been since May...no results.
Thank you for your efforts as always.
I have to say that I am very disappointed by the developments of the last three weeks. The November launch was pushed back to Jan 2014. No launch or website or anything came about. Instead we get a flurry of PRs.
There is no more excuse for not having the site up and running. Are we to believe they can't get ONE product up and mapped correctly so it can be sold from a retail standopoint via affliates?
All we have is more lost time which equals more lost sales. I'm starting to tip into the circle of people who think this is all some kind of shell game.
Haven't thought about the hemp one way or another. I was long before that.
Thanks for you views though.
It took about two posts by those jackasses to understand they were up to no good. I'm still long LKEN.
Assuming it was a pump and dump who do you think was dumping?
Thank you
Who or what is VNDM?
I don't think I made any mistake. You don't know where I bought or where my average share price is. I get annoyed when people are yelling from either direction without some form of analysis.
Feel good about saying, "I told you so" based on a frozen point in time though. Might help you.
I am also excited but they have to get the launch going with the website. Enough already....it isn't that complicated. Put up 200 items and lets roll. Add more as we go along.
Can't help but notice that Godzilla, Scanner, and Float Lock aren't here.
I'm long LKEN and will stay so but watch out next time those snake oil salesmen come in yelling.
Jazz, what you think about the talk of a pump and dump?
It is true that the company is selling those. They are restricted for a year from the time you pay for them. Do you think at this point that would be holding the PPS of the stock?
How do you know the TA is gagged? I am unfamiliar with how to check on that.
That would be nice. I'm not all that unhappy now.
Forgive me for being stupid....what is MMJ?
That would be assume.
Thanks.
I'm not even really frustrated. I'm long on the company and staying that way.
You and I seem to want the same thing. I don't have as many as you but I'm over a million.
I know you don't have a crystal ball but where do you see the PPS in a year?
Fear talk? I haven't commented on anything except what I perceive to be some unrealistic statements. I'm long the company and staying that way.
I'd like to be proven wrong. I'm long the company and going to remain so.
But, it is trading a TON. It was trading like a brick there forever and now millions of shares are trading a day. It is WAY better than it was a few weeks ago.
I'll be the to admit (happily) that I was wrong.
If everyone "in the know" is buying it why isn't it going up?
