Yeah, ok. This why your vast knowledge had you attacking a pro fceler like me the other day. Good luck with that.
Yeah, I'm hangin on to my Freddie and can't reload any additional till after the 3rd or risk triggering a wash sale. All is good in my Roths, but my regular trading account is waiting patiently to reload in Jan. glty!
Awe man! You just convinced me! I'm dumping the hell out of fcel right now! Thanks! (eyeroll).
One word: Nio. Pumpers keep pumping till they're satisfied. And I don't think they're satisfied, yet. But again, you could be right. In which case I'll still be good... but what if you wrong? You gonna admit how butthurt a bad short did ya?
I'm curious as well (not trying to be smart or anything). But why not hold till the new year and take the profits for 2020? You'd have the year to see if you had any losses to offset. Unless, I guess, you've had enough losses in 2019 to offset your recent windfall.
Good luck (not really) with that. If you indeed shorted in premarket, you should be hurtin for certain right now. However, I do believe that thing about a broken clock being right twice a day. So, let's see how you're doin by close.
If you're right, I just get another sweet buying opportunity. If you're wrong... well, we probably won't see any posts from you for a bit. lol
Remember at around 1.14 when you said it was going back to .60? And I wrote that is was going to 2.00 before it went back to .60? Told ya I'd eventually remind you of that.
As far as shorting in premarket goes... might be a good move. But my friends and I will stick to our game and harvest a little profit without shorting. I think 3 is the number, and not gonna bet against it (for now).
I saw the big jump today. Good on you for staying the course. Glad I held on to shares, but not as many as I should have. To be honest, if I had held on to my max Nio holdings I could have easily bought a Tesla on today's high. Live and learn! :D
Awe man, my bad. I just looked up your profile and see that you're an absolute newbie to these boards and wasted you first attempt at posting on fcel on me. Read people's past comments before coming to silly conclusions. It'll save ya lots of trouble in the future. Good luck, and I hope you don't lose a bunch of $$ by misinterpreting people's comments.
Left my phone in the house after closing bell to go enjoy the uncommonly warm afternoon we were having... only to come back and see that the afterhours crew done gone bananas on Fcel!
Thinking if I leave the phone behind a coupla more times I may have enough for a P100D! lol
SpotOn posting dated news once again. Nothing to see here... move along. :D
Nice. Never saw this before. Thanks for posting.
Perhaps it's a good sign that it'll only take a "Few" bucks to get him his bump... though I'd rather his incentive goals be a bit higher.
Why wouldn't he be "looking at the decision to put them in conservatorship and the issuance of warrants?"
And what's with the use of "we," your posts are about you... not "we"
Heard that! I don't even mind if it dips a bit more so I can load a bit more. My 2019 started with Freddie and is ending with Fcel. FF'n great!
Just saved this post. Will give ya credit if it happens, but will remind ya if it hits 2 before it hits .60.
Just added as well.
Whoop! Ya may get your 1.30 soon... and my fomo will probably kick in and have me buying some more! lol
First words out of my mouth when my notifications started blowing up my phone yesterday. Then again in the 1st minutes of trading this morning. Nice!
Quite the gambler over just 8 or 9 cents of profit taking. I suffer from FOMO so I bought back everything I sold at .92... at .92.
Just didn't wanna miss out. Sooo glad I did that.
Please don't worry about anyone taking credit for your vast knowledge of fcel's inner workings. If you have information to share, share it. If you don't wanna share it, please don't tell us you have it.
How'd you lose out? Please tell me you're not fully vested in the twins. I like FnF as part of my portfolio, but not gonna miss out on up swings like fcel for these two.
1 Dollah... lookin good Billy Ray!
I love holding shares like fcel in my roth. Took me years of max contributions as well as halfway decent trading to get were I am with it... and, although used to seeing the balances, I can never get used to the idea that this little pot of gold will always be free from tax. GLTY with fcel and whatever else ya having going on. Cheers!
Hangin out again, waiting patiently.
Gotta like that last 100 to lock in .4188 for the day. :)
Agreed
Agreed. Sad that the last time this was interesting was the run to .70. Sad cause it used to be in the 2's. Glad I loaded recently. Would be happy just to see it cross over it's Oct high again.
LOL! Happy to finally see some upside volume. Perhaps we won't see coal for Christmas afterall.
Interesting it is. ~Yoda
Apparently the sp isn't low enough to start the next pump and dump? Doh!
Here we go!
Big seller must know something. :/
Yeah, that just happened. Not seeing the benefit in keeping sp down like this.
Yeah, I like (I) for a big gain in 2020... but I still think some shares can be added under 5 in the short term. Look forward to seeing at least 17 out of them next year. GL!
I did! Patience prevailed at just under 9. Sold at 9.50. Now gonna wait for 8s... but not convinced enough to actually short it.
I'm good with that. Whatever it takes to get the FnF longs that much closer to the promised land!
Quote:
"The shares might not increase in price. What you're missing is that if Treasury is ordered to pay FnF $124B, they keep the seniors fully intact. That means they get 10% cash dividends on $192B of liquidation preference forever."
Feel free to quote this:
Your statement is absolutely without merit.
Sticking with the thought that the senior preferred will remain intact, that a 10% dividend remains in place, or even the premise of the warrants being exercised is complete bunk(I know, you didn't mention them)... if indeed the courts are able to make the government pay back $124B.
I'll be the first to admit that the Treasury doesn't even have that kind of coin to "give back." And even if they do, they'll likely maintain a Kung Fu grip on that $$. Perhaps even come up with a settlement that will include wiping out the dividend, SP, and warrants in return for having to payback less $$.
Either way, your conviction that the dividend will exist in perpetuity is quite ridiculous.
Take the next step to Instacart... you'll never step foot inside a grocery store again! :D
Let's see what happens. I'm all for being optimistic, or I wouldn't have involved myself with Lexaria in the first place, but I know how these folks burn through $$. Time will tell. Good luck!
Here's my thoughts on a buyout... it would create s nice, temporary pop for the stock but sp will plummet once the hoopla is over. Yeah, Lexy will have their patents, but one of their golden eggs will be gone and whatever $$ they got from the sale will simply evaporate within a short amount of time. Not a recommendation, but although I look forward to good news like a buyout I certainly wouldn't hold afterwards. Jussayin...
