Has anyone here done any trades of CANN since it started trading on the Grey Market? Any issues or words of advice on this? Anyone by chance using Scottrade or Schwab?
Here is my take on all this. Let me preface this statement by saying that I have been a staunch supporter of PHOT, so I am not bashing, just putting things into reality. First, the SEC is an inverted Judge, jury, and executioner. By inverted I mean, that they execute a company first, then go on to the judge and jury part. What does this mean? It means that it doesn't matter what the SEC finds in their investigation, the damage is done. Growlife, as a publicly traded company, was dead the minute the SEC suspended the stock. Period. Done. Now, the SEC investigation will determine if Growlife has ANY future. Growlife "may" go on to be a succesful company, but a PRIVATE company. Their public stock days are OVER. Satistically speaking, a suspended stock does NOT recover. I still believe that the company is a good company and the majority of the people in the company are good people, but it only takes one bad apple to ruin it, and unfortunately, we as investors take the brunt of the hit. And it is very likely that we may never even know what, if any, illegal activities are discovered by the SEC investigation. Growlife will be the ones to put out any of that information because the SEC will not. We will not hear another word from the SEC over this matter.
As for some comments I read about people that lost their life savings/college funds...No, I do not feel sorry for them. I know that sounds cold hearted, but...there is a very Darwinian aspect of the stock market in play here. If you are dumb enough to invest money that is earmarked for your future stability, then you deserve what you get. The stupid shall be punished. I would feel sorry for them if they were invested in Microsoft, Apple, etc, but this is a "PENNY STOCK ON THE OTC!! OTC stocks should be reserved for your play money. If it goes big, great, but if it flops, at least you are not losing your house/retirement etc.
As far as what will hapen next, well, that is a guessing game. It is highly likely with a good amount of certainty that this stock WILL TRADE when it opens up on the Grey Market. At a minimum, shorts will have to cover. Their will also be some, probably some on this board reading this, that will see this as a buying opportunity and buy. My reccomendations is to sell as soon as the market opens on the 25th, take your losses and move on. Along with that thought, you also need to talk to your broker to see what you need to do to sell this on the Grey Market. You don't want to wait till 9:31 AM on the 25th to figure that out.
So the silver lining here is this:
LEARN FROM THIS EXPERIENCE
1. Take profits along the way. I have been in this since .05 and I have taken my profits. So even if I lose all $20,000 that I had in this before the suspension, I have already taken $20,000 out. I have already bought a truck, and paid off my bills.
2. Don't invest money you can't afford to lose. I looked at this like going to the casino. And I lived by the same set of rules that I use at the blackjack table.
3. ANY STOCK can fail. If you are not willing to take a risk, then bury your money in the backyard.
It's been a fun ride, but unfortunately, we are at the train station, and it is time to get off. This is my last broadcast. Goodbye all, and God bless America.
Last 2 years financials came out on April 1, 2013 and April 4, 2012. So we may have a day or 2 to wait before they show up
Can you sticky my post from yesterday, or post something yourself and sticky it about the difference between CANN and CANX?
"CANX USA LLC is a Private Investment Group formed by individuals with specific expertise in agricultural, supply chain, retail, real estate, technology and marketing. CANX provides investment capital, Mergers and Acquisitions expertise and other business consulting services. The Company's goal is to facilitate game-changing acquisitions and upgrade technologies for its partners and investments."
CANX USA LLC is who we have our $40 Mil deal with.
"Advanced Cannabis Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB: CANN) is a provider of services to the regulated cannabis industry throughout the United States and leases growing space and related facilities (commercial real estate and equipment) to licensed marijuana business operators for their production needs. Marijuana usage is on the verge of becoming main-stream with the US Public and has the strong potential to become a big business."
CANN is who just got suspended. Not the same.

My take on the upcoming earnings is not as eloquently stated as Trained Monkey, in fact I am going to put it into much simpler terms. The large deals that Growlife has put in place have taken place since Jan. 1, when marijuana went legal in CO. This is also when we REALLY started to see a rise in PPS. But these deals have no affect on 2013 financials which reflect a PRE-MJ legalization market. Some will still expect outstanding bottom lines though, not taking this into consideration, and therefore will be dissappointed based on too high of expectations. I would expect to see huge gains in the bottom line starting with the second or third quarter of this year, with a very good financial report coming out on April 1 of NEXT year. To put it even simpler, the farmer plants his seeds in the spring, but will not see profits until the harvest in the fall. Right now Growlife is plowing the fields and planting the seeds. Be patient and wait for the harvest.
Monkey! Where have you been on the PH0T board? I miss you!
I miss Monkey13 and his FIB's.
It was nice news, but why is it dropping? I don't get it.
That was yesterdays volume, not this morning.
What are we seeing on level 2? I don't have level 2 access on scotrade
Seeds have been planted, now wait for the harvest
Everyone needs to be patient. I still personally believe that we will see $1 by years end. But it will be a rough road between now and then. Management has the players in place, the A/S they asked for, and some of the deals they have alluded to. So far there has been a lot of planning, deals, promises and expectations. The only thing that will make this stock go up and stay up is going to be when these plans are executed and we see a profit. That, after all, is what it is all about, the profit. Don't expect to see it from Q4 earnings, all of these deals were 2014 deals, not 2013. It was legal in Colorado until Jan 1, so why would we see profits before then. Business is not instantaneous. If you want instantaneous, go to the casino. I expect the price to drop slowly until right before 3/31, then go down quickly to a new low. I am not predicting what that low will be, just that it will go down. We will see a spike when Washington goes legal, then a dip. the first sustainable rise in pps that I see is probably in Nov when the 3rd quarter financials come out. That should be enough time for some of these seeds that are being planted now to be harvested.
PHOT performance today.
I would like to express a couple of different points. First, PHOT has so far exceeded my expectation today. Here is why:
1) A Sykes coordinated short attack late in yesterdays trading session concerned me. Last time Sykes called a short we lost over 50% of pps. Simply from memory we went from High .30's down to around .18. This time I was expecting something around .20 due to the shorts. Turned out to be about a 17% drop.
2) I expected this short attack to be compounded by a sell-off the first half of the day due to mis-educated investors worried about the increase in A/S.
So why did neither of these happen? Here is my honest personal opinion.
1) Sykes followers are generally wise investors. They did not follow him blindly because they realized that a YES vote would increase the pps and they would get burned, so he did not get the same response he did last time, and thus his attempt at market manipulation was foiled. Still got a bit, and he was probably helped out at least a little by the panic buyers mentioned in comment 2.
2) Their was not a mass sell-off of the magnitude that I was expecting because most of the weak have been weeded out over the last couple of weeks (no pun intended), and those that are left are more educated about the vote and the reasoning behind it.
All of this is simply my opinion. In PHOT since .05, and ready for the ride.
What the Bashers will say next.
Someone asked what the bashers were going to say next and here is what they will say. Since the stock is not tanking after this YES vote, they will forget that for the last 2 months they have pretended not to understand the difference between "Authorized" shares and "Outstanding" shares. Now their general tag line will be
"Of course it didn't tank yet, because they were A/S shares not O/S. Just wait till the big bad Growlife scam artists cash in all those A/S and convert them to O/S and purposely dilute the stocks to line their own pockets. Then you will see!"
TRUST THE MONKEY! HE HAS NOT LET US DOWN YET!
Great news today! I know everyone wants huge jumps in profits, but I do not personally believe that any news including GIFT news is going to bring us that jump that everyone wants. As good as the news may be, it is still just the beginning of the deal with a good amount of conjecture. Don't get me wrong it is still good, but as my mother always said, "the proof is in the pudding". The deals that will be announced in the future weeks to months are an indication of what "might" happen, not what "will" happen. The one thing that we ALL need to look forward to is the release of the quarterly financials. THAT is what will tell us if the GIFT/KIOSK/MERGERS are actually working. It is all about the bottom line. When PHOT starts turning millions in profits, THAT is when the big boys get involved and THAT is when we will all be rich. Or poor. It is a penny stock, and it could go under in a heartbeat, but that is why I am here. I am taking a bit more risk than the average investor and doing the unthinkable by actually INVESTING in a penny stock vice simply TRADING. But I do think this is the real deal, and look at the MJ sector. Per my MJ watchlist, only 4 companies are green and 3 of those 4 are associated with PHOT. That should tell you something right there.
WHO YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO
I have been here since September 2013 when the stock was at .05. I intended to flip it, but long story short, this board convinced me to stay. I have been watching, reading, and learning. That being said, I have just started posting. Just some advice for those of you out there like me; gr8investment and monkey13 are 2 of the best posters on here to get info from. They may not always say what you hope they would, but they give some really good technical analysis, and they are usually very accurate, and they ALWAYS have their reasoning and logic to back up there statements. I would trust them. The Apostle is also very good, as are any of the moderators. They give some insight into the Level 2 boards that I currently do not have access to. So much appreciation goes out to gr8investment, monkey13 and to the Apostle. Thank you for your insight.
gr8investment, any updates on why we dipped so low so quick?
Level 2 anyone? I can't see level 2, wondering why this is nose diving. I saw a massive buy followed immediately by a massive sell and it is plumetting. Any thoughts?
Apparently someone did not find that post humorous, seeing as it got deleted.
And if it does, I will do the same thing, sell and try to increase my position by buying in lower. And i will not go overnight without having a position.
Took a gamble, sold at .226 hoping to get in on a dip today. But I refuse to go overnight empty handed, on what hopefully is the eve of some good news, so I'm back in at .229. Lost a little, but hope it is good in the long run.
Feeling Frustrated
I have been in this since .04, but we are seeing other MJ stocks with husge increases and I am still waiting for something solid to come out for us. If we do not hear something solid, as in a GIFT announcement or SOMETHING saying that we have gone from the realm of "great ideas" and "big plans" to a steady revenue stream by Feb. 7, I'm out.
