i like it!
good for you that you found a couple. i have seen them before too..but not much more out there at all from before....the point is if they continue to market the way they are this time around...the price will go into multi dollars soon enough, just like it was in 2008-2009.
no my research does not show they were anywhere near as aggressive as they are now with their marketing campaigns.....it may be the same vodka...and old bottles...but if their marketing campaigns become successful (which they have been so far)...then i'm afraid but you will be proven wrong....
nonetheless, imo...you seem to be well invested in this company...not long term..but short term for now (again just my opinion) or maybe this is altruistic behaviour at its worst attempt by trying to make ppl aware of whats false and whats not....simply for the sake of doing just that, and that too on iHub of all places....
More aggressive than before is what I meant. Don't get too hung up on words here. Why? Is there proof you have that shows they were equally aggressive before as well?
and thats a GOODDD THING!!!
has MRIB ever done such marketing campaigns as it is doing now? it seems that it is being MUCH more aggressive!!!
sounds good!!
by mid 2014, that is...
I expect the pps to go to at least around $6 if they stick to their plans with their new printer...
yeah, i have saw that presentation before as well. I don't doubt they will achieve that...definitely looks good. i just hope they release a PR soon about their new printer going to a customer site or something, soon...i don't like the pps drop so much....i wasn't as luck as you Gary to get in around 2's (if i remember correctly, you had disclosed that in a post before)...i guess lets see what happens...
I am very new to iHub but unfortunately I have come to feel that is website and most of the message boards (especially the OTC ones) are soooo full of nonsense it is difficult to separate true longs from shorts who pretending to be longs just to pump the stock. i wish i had the art to make money from such nonsense...but i decided to invest some money in MIRB and thought i'd keep it in for sometime...but now i am beginning to feel that i should take it out before it burns out! or the stealers take it away form me.
GO!! GO!!! GO!!! MRIB!!!!!!
And BTW their company financials link on the investors page does not work either....
Nope... The investors page has not been updated to include the new PRs.
it was a boat race! we know you can drive there in less time.....but THAT is not the point....
as everybody has been saying here....the point is that MIRB got exposure...thats the point!
So how do we know that the $40m in gross revenue will yield a decent net profit for the company? Is there a good estimate for it?
What do you guys think the current institutional investment says about this company. Oppenheimer and co is one of them, which is a very well respected company. Isn't that the same one that holds the Oppenheimer conferences, if I am not mistaken.
Anyways, there is less than 5% institutional investment in camt. But the financials do not look bad at all. There is potential. As long as they deliver, their reluctance to continue with Gary's Q&A session will be overlooked.
GLTA!
Yeah you wanna be checking this page for winners. Hopefully they will announce them on Friday, as they say they will.

I hate shorts...
what do you guys think about this comment made by someone at the end of the SA article? I don't know much about PCB printing, maybe you guys do.

The photos in this article display liquid photoimageable solder mask (no longer used by any serious prototyping house), suitable for home hobbyists. Modern solder mask is dry film photoimageable solder mask (DFSM), also known as 'dry mask over bare copper' - a hi-tek Dupont product - note the "photoimageable" reference, which means you don't have to "remove the holes" as described in this article. More importantly, adhesiveness of the soldermask to the laminate board is crucial to the wave soldering process, and requires a complex chemical bond that likely cannot be achieved using a "3D printing process". I suspect that the so-called "3D soldermask printer" would more appropriate in silkscreening (the white component designation markings you see on a board) than in soldermasking... although the traditional silkscreen process is already quick cheap and effective.
The whole thing is a blatant pump, but i managed to make a few shekels off it today :)

hey gary, in your opinion, do you think mediabistro has any true potential in the long run? i hold some shares in the company but want to pull them out soon. what do you think? thanks.
Article on additive manufacturing and GE Aviation producing fuel nozzles... No mention of sglb yet but nice to see anyway...

yes, camt was referring to addressable market, you are right.
i think camt would have done themselves a favor if they had not called it a 3D printer because at least in the sense we are talking about it (and in the sense other investors may have understood it) it is not a 3d printer. from my reading at least, it looks like a more refined and efficient inkjet printer that eliminates the hassle of drying, coating etc. and makes the process of solder deposition very streamlined. to that effect, i think they have a good product (unless others are already doing it on a large scale; i don't know, maybe someone can fill us on that).
i agree with gary. i think they have a decent shot at it. i will keep holding some of my shares unless of course negative news comes......
glta.
I had also emailed the IR earlier in the week. Kenny, I guess one of there IR ppl got back to me and he confirmed that it is a solder mask deposition printer. The following is my question to them and their answer:
---------------------
Hi,
I recently became an investor in Camtek after the announcement that the company is geared to make its first 3D Printer. Would you be able to clarify as to exact nature of the printer (i.e. the GreenJet Printer)? Is it a solder mask deposition inkjet printer, or can it print an entire PCB?
Thanks for clarifying,
Ankit
---------------------
It is a solder mask deposition printer.
Kenny

I think we'll go a little higher as ppl anticipate the piper Jaffry presentation by onvo...
this is not today's news, is it?
Lol, I had a dream last night that this stock hit 50 dollars without a reverse split ever happening and I became a millionaire! .... Again, it was just a dream...lol
Agreed.
thats a good link...i hope to see mention of SGLB in such articles in the near future.
the more I review the conference call in which CAMT announced their launch of the "3d inkjet solder mask printer", the more it seems like just a solder deposition printer, and not something that can print an entire PCB.
nonetheless, they sound relatively confident that it will expand their market share by an additional $600-700 mil, which would definitely reflect majorly in the share price, imo.
i guess we'll just wait and see.
Gary, I just want to say thanks to you for doing your DD. i am a new investor and i greatly appreciate your efforts in bringing more awareness about this growing industry.
agree...
hi everyone,
i am new to this board, and to investors hub in fact. good run for SGLB so far. i got in relatively late at .205....long SGLB.
cheers,
ankit
Gary,
Can we expect the follow-up article on CAMT before the weekend?
Happy Thanksgiving!
Ankit
