Tommy,
I thought the purpose of a blog was to actually blog, when you started this blog it was supposed to be a way to keep us loyal shareholders informed and answer questions, no blogs since May 26 09, and also no answers to the last questions posed in the blog. There are alot of shareholders out there losing interest, when are we going to get some real numbers and something of substance, the PR’s never mention anything about contracts or revenues, just we are going into this field or that, that is great but is someone going to actually pay you to do anything, I have been here since 07 and this is starting to get old. Please give us something of substance for a change
thanks

Allow me to reply to your comment on Tommy’s behalf. Tommy is tied up this week as we work towards product launches as communicated in my letter to shareholders.
1. Esmiplaneta: Go here to see EarthView in action - http://esmiplaneta.com/contests/batalladelasamericas/nexicon.php
2. Yes, clients are paying Nexicon for services rendered. For GetAmnesty specifically (recent press release), depending on the model selected by the client, settlement fees as well as service fees are taken in by Nexicon.
3. I will update all shareholders in my Q3 update as to the significant progress we are making since my last update. To put it simply, the demand we are seeing in the marketplace is currently exceeding the capacity of our sales and marketing team. Nexicon is at this moment, taking near-term steps to ramp up our teams to meet demand.
4. As of this moment, our audit is on schedule, and the company is making excellent progress towards completing this very important initiative
5. I continue to be very bullish in the government sector, and look forward to sharing the progress we are making as soon as I am able to do so.
Best,
Sam
Hey Hastoran

Nexicon, Inc. (OTC: NXCO) develops software primarily in the areas of security and billing solutions. For you chart people, what does the chart show once we break 10 cents?
Yea you would think there would be alot more people commenting on this move, there is another stock that is even worse than this, it has gone from .017 to .09 in less than a week, go look at vral, there is no one talking about that stock, one of the guys on the board calls himself castaway, he says the board reminds him of Tom Hanks in the movie talking to wilson the soccer ball lol.
Do you wonder who is buying, most of us here probably have the bulk of our shares and have bought more down at the lows, so who is buying now, with no news, always makes me wonder, friends of people inside the company?, insiders in the company?Just a thought.
You are right Cash, I think the up listing is what is pushing this higher

What do you make of today's volume and move up in price?, possible news coming?
Holding up nicely going into the close, hopefully it will keep these gains and start a run from here.
Maybe NXCO is in the right place at the right time, the listing I believe will be the key to getting this stock price going where we all want it to. Now let's hope Sam is going to perform on what he said he would do by end of the 2nd qrtr.
Hold til a dollar, shoot, if this gets to 50 cents I will probably be out of here. lol
Thanks for sharing your conversation with Tommy.

1. Nexicon (NXCO) Trades 3 Million Shares.
While you couldn't tell from the stock price (until yesterday), things are progressing rather impressively at Nexicon. Yes -- we were way too early coming in last year, but we assumed that broadly distributed "big news" about their revolutionary technology -- (to catch Internet pirates) -- would send the stock up 3 or 4 fold, in a flurry of excitement and
investor enthusiasm.
And to our credit, they got that news -- when they announced a partnership with YouTube.com. Unfortunately the news came out on Sept 11th of last year, just before the market was to start a near 50% dump, with the Nasdaq
100 dropping from $45 to $25. It was the type of market where you could
announce news like -- well a partnership with YouTube.com and nothing happens.
News as reported from ZDNet: "Why would Google entrust something as
important as its video ID system to a company that just seems offat least
to me." Larry Dignan http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=10700

Yesterday the stock traded 3,022,952 shares. They just crossed 1 million shares a few minutes ago.

The shares also poked their nose above $0.02 (yes we know --why are we playing with $0.02 stocks in a market like this). But ask us again if it hits $0.20 !
We'll give you just two points, with regards to credibility (something any 2 cent stock sorely needs):
By the way, in addition to being able to "catch" Internet pirates, Nexicon
has an opportunity to monetize the information it gathers about illegal downloading.
Point #1. Case Study with Frank Zappa:
Upon viewing a "downloading report from Nexicon, Gail Zappa was astounded
at what she saw: By nearly a 2:1 margin, the most popular geographic
region where Franks work was popular was somewhere that neither Frank
himself nor his son Dweezil had ever thought of touring South America.
Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile were the two most popular
locations for Zappas music. Gails reaction? "We need to take the band on
the road to Argentina!" See here:
http://www.nexiconinc.com/products/business-intelligence/case-study
Point #2. Case Study with Viacom.
Nexicon assisted Viacom in achieving a thorough understanding of worldwide
digital piracy surrounding two of their most popular titles: Comedy
Centrals hit television show "South Park" and the blockbuster movie from
Paramount Pictures, "Eagle Eye." For both titles, Nexicon provided a
Business Intelligence report which presented quantitative data compilation
and infringement trend identification -- as well as superior qualitative
analysis -- in a compelling and understandable way. Rather than receiving
raw data which can some times be difficult to understand, Viacom
executives instead received interperative analysis of the piracy of the
titles to evaluate trends based upon time, location and other variables.
http://www.nexiconinc.com/products/business-intelligence/case-study-viacom
Point #3 there are doing (or have done) business with Frank, Viacom and
YouTube.com and the stock is selling for less than -- well nothing cost less than 2 cents these days !

2. Yahoo Alerts.
We follow literally thousands of stocks. And one of our favorite tools to
help us do so was a Java based applet from Yahoo, which would pop up a
window when any one of the stocks we are following moved up or down and
certain predetermined percentage or there was a significant change in volume.
This is how we could catch a 3 million share day in a company like
Nexicon, even if we weren't specifically looking at it. Well to make a
long story short, it stopped working about 6 years ago. And this was on 6
different computers (so it wasn't a computer specific problem).
Well yesterday, it started working again and we had all these wonderful
little windows popping up all over the place and all day long !
Get it here.

Had dinner last night with my daughter and her boyfriend, her boyfriend used to be the lead singer with Iglu and Hartley a new and very popular band, (he is still in contact with his friends in the band) I asked him how things were going with the band and he said things are going well, however they are having a big problem with piracy, for every 1000 cd's they sell, they estimate 4000 cds are downloaded illegally, I just said wow, it just hit me how big of a problem this really is, here is a band just starting out and they need all of the proceeds they can get from sales and they are being totally ripped off to the point it could cost them their ability to survive as a band. How much really good talent out there does not make it because of this type of piracy going on?
Anyway just thought it was interesting.

US outlines secretive international piracy deal
Track this topic Print story Post comment Shadowy ninja agreement allegedly for industrial use only

The world's major economic powers are considering whether to involve internet service providers (ISPs) in fighting copyright infringement and how to stop pirated material crossing borders, according to documents released by the US Government.
Thirty-seven countries are negotiating a new worldwide trade deal that aims to reduce counterfeiting and copyright infringement, but details have until now been kept secret.
Called the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), the putative deal has been kept under wraps, but as part of US President Barack Obama's commitment to transparency in government, details of the negotiations have been published. The secrecy around the talks had attracted criticism from digital rights lobbyists.
The just-published summary indicates that the countries are considering how to involve ISPs in the process of combating internet piracy.
The document said that the countries were discussing "the possible role and responsibilities of internet service providers in deterring copyright and related rights piracy over the internet". Just last week the French Assembly passed a law that forces ISPs to disconnect those suspected of illegally sharing copyright infringing material on the third warning for up to a year.
ACTA is also considering what measures to implement to stop material from crossing borders. Fears had emerged that the countries involved were considering ordering border searches of computers and MP3 players to identify and possibly take action over pirated material on personal players.
The outline of ACTA activity discounts that, making it clear that it is concerned only with industrial-scale importing and exporting of counterfeit material.
"Cross-border trade in counterfeit and pirated goods is a growing global problem that often involves organized criminal networks," said the note. It said that ACTA might include "a de minimis exception that could permit travellers to bring in goods for personal use".
The document said that the countries were also looking into whether they should agree that only imported goods could be blocked or whether that could also apply to exports; what the limits of civil and criminal enforcement would be; and how the national authorities would co-operate and share information.
The Treaty aims to harmonise what scale of activity needs to be reached before infringement becomes criminal, and what rights authorities will have to destroy material.
The document also said that the Treaty would cover "criminal procedures and penalties in cases of camcording motion pictures or other audiovisual works".
The process was begun by the US and Japan in 2006 but negotiations now include Australia, Canada, the European Commission and the EU's 27 member states, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore and Switzerland.
There have been four rounds of negotiation on the Agreement, most recently in France in December. Another was planned for March in Morocco, but was postponed as the US government asked for more time for its international trade authority to changeover in the aftermath of the change of government.

Back to Google NewsFrench lawmakers reject Internet piracy bill
4 days ago
PARIS (AFP) — French lawmakers on Thursday rejected a new Internet piracy bill that would cut off illegal downloaders from the Internet, in a surprise setback for President Nicolas Sarkozy's government.
But the government played down the defeat in the National Assembly, saying the bill would return to parliament on April 28.
One of the world's toughest Internet piracy bills, the French "creation and Internet law" would set a precedent for global efforts to stamp out the online piracy of music, films and video games.
Under a "three-strikes" system, a new state agency would send illegal downloaders an e-mail warning, then a letter, and suspend their Internet account for up to a year if they are caught more than twice.
Approved earlier by the Senate, France's upper house, the bill was defeated by a vote of 21 to 15 in a near-empty lower house.
Two members of Sarkozy's right-wing majority joined the left-wing opposition in voting against, in protest at the last-minute reinstatement of a provision saying banned users must continue to pay their Internet bills.
Sarkozy, in a statement issued by his office, said he would fight for the bill's adoption and would not give up "because of derisory moves that have the effect of harming creative diversity.
"This law is the result of an agreement between artists, producers and telecommunications companies," the statement said. Some technology and telecoms groups have criticised the draft legislation, however.
Culture Minister Christine Albanel accused the opposition of staging a "woeful comedy" after about a dozen members turned up at the last minute to vote.
"This vote delays the adoption of the text but it won't block it," said deputy Roger Karoutchi from the governing right-wing party.
Socialist MP Patrick Bloche said the outcome of the vote was a "personal defeat" for Sarkozy, who had championed the bill and whose wife singer Carla Bruni released her third album last year.
The French move to ban illegal downloaders replaces current penalties of up to three years in prison and 300,000 euros (398,000 dollars) in fines.
Similar plans in New Zealand were derailed by protests earlier this year, and several European countries including Britain, Germany and Sweden have decided against cut-off measures.
In both the United States and Ireland, the record industry has enlisted Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to help root out online piracy.
Several major US access providers have started sending out warning letters to illegal downloaders with suspension as a last resort threat, but reports suggest only a handful of users have been banned.
The French bill is backed by the international film and record industries, and more than 10,000 French artists, filmmakers and musicians, from Johnny Hallyday to Catherine Deneuve, have signed a petition in its support.
Supporters of the bill hope the threat of being cut off will wean web users away from pirated films and music, and towards fledgling legal download sites.
But the scheme has been attacked by consumer groups, who complain users would be cut off before having a chance to challenge the accusations.
The Socialist opposition charges that it amounts to state surveillance of the web since copyright holders would be able to access data on web traffic to track down and report illegal downloaders.
The French telecoms federation opposed the ban as a "disproportionate" response to piracy and a major technical headache for access providers.
A French umbrella group representing 180 high-tech and online businesses had urged the government to shelve the bill and allow the industry to come up with a better answer to piracy.
Internet experts also warn the bill has been overtaken by technology, since it targets file-sharing or download sites just as piracy is shifting towards easy-to-use video streaming websites.
