does this batch actually deliver?
I bought some years ago when we were asked to "support it" and never got it.
sadly, after 13 years, I realize the best bet for this thing for me is to wait for a year i need to have some losses and take one.
I had such hope for this thing back then, and two years later when it surged to a nickel on India news.....I should have sold then. I regret that to this day.
I'm still around from time to time out of curiosity.
I saved 10% on car insurance
it would be great to see them get a win. I know the first start on ebay fizzled. Don't think some of us ever got our orders.
They could really use a win.
Hard to believe some folks spent between 6 and 12K on this stock yesterday. Blows my mind why.
I say this tongue in cheek.
You want to know what happened here? Because i can tell you. I'm not supposed to say this....
Dude, that would be great. I'll certainly pull for that effort and send good vibes, karma, pray. I know how hard it is.
I've seen a 45,000 site opportunity that looked so promising in December for my company, go up in smoke last week. So i get it.
So, I'll say...I think it happens so that it doesn't conclude because life is hard, and we're still sitting about where we are six months/year from now.
I WANT TO BE WRONG! I WANT TO BUY YOU DINNER, lol.
You know my email and how to find me Maddog, I'll pay up gladly.
That's a fair question. Take all animosity out of it.
I would be interested in a friendly wager, with no acrimony. Maddog, this is not a forward-thinking statement by a corporate officer.
Where do you think the stock is in a year? Or better yet, do you have faith that something different is going on than past hopes and dreams of the last 12 years I've been associated with it?
If so, do you believe it enough to bet a dinner on it? Or barring dinner, a great book you've been wanting?
Let's have fun with it.
Being an owner of a startup that has seen it's Monthly re-occurring revenue triple in three years, but still is cash strapped at times, I fully understand the challenges.
But I bet a years salary on my business. Are you willing to bet a steak dinner or a book?
Better to hold the stick than to be stuck in the back with it I always say.
who's with me?
Welcome aboard!
Welcome to this roller coaster ride! I've been on it about 8 and a half years which was about 8 years longer than I expected to be thus far!
Cheers
I apologize if my last response offended the moderators of this board...or owners of iHUB.
Do you mind sharing with us when you became a stockholder in GLEC? Introduce yourself? We would like to get to know a fellow share holder.
Cheers
To you as well.....Who are you? We've not seen you on here before, are you a stake holder in either GLEC or GECO?
old news, I want to see news of a sale!!
Something is definitely up, checking with my little birdies
someone may not be paying 100K, but they've sure spent close to 8K today, a number i didn't think anyone would do again.
I hope they know something is possible when I thought it was all but impossible!
Yeah, after that last bit of genius advice and the absolute glut of useful information Maj has created, I had to give him the same treatment I had to give Rifleman.
1. Click on his user name
2. Click on ignore button
3. Go back to GLEC forum and breathe a deep sigh of relief that that username simply doesn't show up anymore.
The great thing is when he abuses me for this, I don't even see it!
Sorry two fold Captdad,
1, that it wasn't my shares you bought, and 2. that you're in this cesspool with me.
There may come a time in owning my own business that tax wise it makse sense for me to take the loss and dump these, until then I'm stuck with them on the .0000000000000000000001 percent chance it doesn't strike it rich, but has a chance to rebound to somewhere close to my buy in.
I was a fool
Right there with you...I still kick myself for not bailing on the news of the Indian manure deal that took us to .05
I'm not sure but for .02 I'd go quietly.
You know I have purposely not posted in this forum for a number of years.
I am prone to optimism, and thinking the best. I couldn't stand Rifleman's antics and name calling and I've always enjoyed Arbpro, Carb, ReadyFreddy, Grump or Maddog's insights and glimmers of hope.
But you know, "by their fruit you shall know them". Guys, I've owned stock for almost a decade...sure you can shout me down "I've had it for 15!! you don't know anything" and you'd be right.
I don't know the CEO, I have not been to Castleberry.
I did buy stock, I did buy compost (and never received it), and I have tried to help this little company and have brought in investors....I didn't sell out when the Indian PO came in but couldn't get monitized ...and I curse myself a fool.
In that time I've worked for startups and IBM. The startup I'm a part of know has fewer people than GLEC and we will have doubled our income this year over last in July....so I know a little bit.
I'm writing this off, no I'm not selling out because it's a spent bet, but it's one I no longer have any hope for.
Sorry to be doom and gloom, but I've not been shown one damn thing in 9 years. A fool and his money are soon parted, you know what, I was a fool.
Dub
Guys,
seriously,
lets just all get along and get rich together.
or, lets be like a bunch of old women (sorry ladies who are present) and gripe about who's doing what, who we think is doing what, and how usually our perception is only a part of a truth.
chill out, eat a biscuit, and pray, meditate, wish good karma, send smoke signals, whatever your thing is, hope that this thing finally does something other than steal our dreams, time, or worse our integrity and happiness.
In the great words of Captain Spiers from Band of Brothers..."The only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be able to function as a soldier is supposed to function: without mercy, without compassion, without remorse. All war depends upon it."
I've counted this thing as lost. Now i'm free to be happy if it ever does anything.
