“Apple has sold 1.16 Billion iPhones since 2010 when the infringement began. The iPhones have contributed significantly to Apple’s several hundred billions of dollars in profits over that period. “
From the last PR.
Maybe, so what? It won’t stop VP from taking the rest to court. Remember their lawyers are all PAID OFF, and they already have the hardest work behind them, so they merely need to copy/paste most of their responses toward any new filings. Won’t cost much. And just because anyone can file does not mean it will be instituted. Unified and Apple were the biggest. Notice that ALL THE REST were denied. Doubt it took much $ for them to respond to those filings. Certainly not the $500,000 it takes to initiate a filing. Besides they’d have to make different claims. EVERY SINGLE CLAIM against VP was shot down. EVERY ONE! THAT’S UNPRECEDENTED!!
I’m not worried. Not one single bit. In time this will pay. It already has!! I’m a patient holder enjoying the ride
So no new number yet.
Typical silenced settlement. Nice. Thx!
Love it. I am too. Hands in the air! What a ride!!!!
Except the patents ARE/WERE FOUNDATIONAL. Always have been. And the USPTO DID just RE-validate them through the PTAB process, even though the corruption odds were against us.
You waste time??? Never!
What kind of issues?
I wish I knew how to day trade it too. But alas I am satisfied being a long hold :)
The previous excitement came from being awarded all the patents, which was a great reason to celebrate. Many believed that once that was accomplished, an offer would hopefully soon follow. I, for one had no understanding of the PTAB and how cumbersome it could be against our fight against the giants. It’s certainly all been a learning experience. Time was difficult for many to handle, and it’s believed that there was likely some market manipulation going on. So logically the PPS declined. For me it was always an all or nothing deal.
Where we are now is far different, in my opinion. I believe the clean sweep at the PTAB has strengthened our cases against infringers beyond measure. I am not denying we may still have to fight this battle in court, but as VVV I think pointed out, typically only 10% of cases go the full court term. 90% are settled. And based on Green’s post, I believe Apple would be out of their mind to risk triple damages in court. I can’t see it any other way, unless Apple and the others are assured a win through some sort of corrupt means.
I could be wrong. Never said I was an expert. And there is no such thing as absolutes. Just sharing my beliefs. I’ve always believed this company had great potential. I’ve done plenty of research and have definitely put my money where my mouth is. I’m a long for going on 5 years now with quite a lot invested already. I’ve also invested for friends who I know couldn’t afford the risk. As I said, this could be life changing. I pray it all works out for the betterment of all and that Justice is served.
We must’ve read completely opposing articles. Fancy that :P
Correct. I believe both AT&T and Verizon are out. Twitter May still have some time but not likely and probably a poor move on their part if they do. Any one else is able to, at any time, but in my opinion I believe we are free from the PTAB. It’s all lawsuits and settlements from here on out.
I’m laughing at the “by 4pm tomorrow” comment. How many times have we heard that some sort of finalization would be happening in favor of Kipping, and how many of those predictions have come true?? My money is on Emil, always has been, always will be... literally.
This is going to be so incredibly life changing for so many people!!!!
He also never gave up on the Avatar suit. I’m sure he managed a pretty settlement. Just as with this portfolio, all he ever wants is a small piece of the pie. Just so happens the size of our pie is growing exponentially!!
Absolutely!! So now the ONLY thing in debate in the lawsuit is if they in fact are infringing. And we all know that they are!!! Woooo Hoooooo!!!
I thought it was suggested long ago that that is exactly what Apple’s been doing.
Yes. And if not, continue the lawsuits against Apple, Verizon, AT&T, and Twitter.
I am right there with you Lbird. Hands in the air!!
I’m sure the entire board, plus Sawyer, would love to settle this sooner than later, but doubt Emil is just gonna give it away after all these years of fighting. He’s one tough, stubborn, cookie. They claimed in the past to be willing to accept approx. $2 Billion, BEFORE all the IPRs were filed. I’m sure he will want to recoup the last 2 years expenses (and make up for the increase in outstanding shares) over the $2B. I wouldn’t be surprised if he accepted whatever would get the shareholders $1-2 per share but I’m hoping it’s higher for sure!
I also hope there will be a way for us to get stock options in the acquiring company as I’d like to leave some in for the ride that sees justice served to the giants. But if not, I’ll still stay tuned and enjoy watching from the sidelines.
I was so pleased to see them make their clean sweep in the PTAB. I really found it difficult to imagine them losing any of the IPRs, (hence my prediction of them winning the 2 with Apple and having the rest dropped), especially after Sawyers strong letters and all the publicity over the unconstitutionality of the PTAB. I felt it was almost a given, but was able to admit that corruption certainly exists and who knows how deep it goes. I was just so happy to see the panel do the right thing.
Nobody can say it’s a done deal here. There are still so many possibilities. But I, for one, foresee a very positive future with VPLM. Emil won’t give up. VPLM needs to win to make precedence for future “Davids”. This fight is so important, beyond us!! I pray justice is served!!

So Apple always wins?? I think not.
Why are all you people on here on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day!!! Let’s be thankful for everything we have, and hopeful for everything that’s to come ???? Im out <mic drop>
You’re wrong
Oh I am definitely here!! Maxed out my allowed posts yesterday in all the excitement.
I see values being thrown all around, and obviously the higher the better, IMO. The board’s worked long and hard to get to this point. I think we all need to take a pause and send our gratitude to Emil, Sawyer, the legal teams, and all others who are helping to bring justice to our little diamond in the rough. Thank you EVERYONE! And thanks also to all those who have stuck it out for years and years, remaining positive and hopeful, even when it became very difficult to keep it up. Your energies have been a valuable asset to this endeavor. Most of all I thank my creator and the ones who brought me to this company.
The success of this company is going to help SOOO many people. So many who struggle day to day just to make ends meet!! I’m so proud of Emil and his perseverance!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!! How appropriate that it’s the Thanksgiving holiday!! Love and continued hope for everyone here!! Go Team VPLM!!!
VP has a patent suite that has been infringed upon by the big tech companies for over 10 years. We filed lawsuits. They all filed 8 IPRs total against the suite, challenging their validity. United patens, first, was denied institution. Then Apple had 2 accepted and it’s taken a year for the PTAB to rule in our favor. The final 5 IPRs, 3 by AT&T and 2 more by Apple, we’re also just denied late this afternoon! It was a clean sweep! Our suite is valid and unbeatable. Now our lawsuits will come off hold and Apple, Verizon, Twitter, etc will be forced to license with us, offer settlements, but us, or face being sentences triple damages in court over the next couple years!! THAT’S where we are in a nutshell.
Amen to that!!! Tomorrow’s gonna be so much fun!! Hands in the air folks!! What a ride this is gonna be!! NYT, where’d you go?!?
I thought we’d hear this in a week or so!! Never expected it today!!!! My guess is PTAB wants us out of their hair. Time to bring justice to all the Goliaths out there!!!! Go DAVID!!! Team VPLM!!!
Just like I stated... all of them denied :P hehehe
Yep. Damages need to be increased every day that passes due to (ultimately) unnecessary costs being dumped onto VP to fight these bogus IPRs.
Don’t forget the Unified denial. That makes 3 denials so far. And I’m guessing we hear about the other 5 being denied this month!!
That’s what I’d love to ride out ??
Thanks!
I think I’d prefer to sell only with stock options. I want to see justice served to Apple!!! I want triple damages!!!
Shorts is my guess
What’s the current outstanding shares?
Wait. That was supposed to be FUN TIMES!!!!!!!
Wooooo Hoooooo!! These are always the fun times ??
I ORIGINALLY dreamed of $25 :P which if we go to could could easily be surpassed. If we sell or settle before then, I’m hoping at least $5, raised from the original $2 due to the added dilution we had to incur over these stupid IPRs
Hey, I called it too :P hehehe
Sounds promising.
Great idea!
You obviously do not understand absurdity of all of this. The USPTO has spent the better part of this year examining the merits of this patent while at the same time working with the PTAB located in the same building to cancel all the existing RBR patents.
This is not government incompetence. It's a criminal enterprise at work.
I completely agree!!
The PTAB certainly has a mess on their hands. Doubt they’re gonna walk away from this squeaky clean.
