GAIA is unstoppable, consistent gains, continuous growth. Anyone with money is this stock is loving it all the way to the bank.
I'm glad to see that they moved that ridiculous film terms blog down to the Aug. 5 entry. Are there really shareholders so incredibly stupid as to not know how movies are financed and casts are pre-approved? Certainly, I would not want a remedial reading blog to be the first thing savvy investors see on first visit to the HH blog site. Somebody please tell HHSE to stop engaging the obvious idiots that invent issues to critique. Responding to fake criticisms is like a lion fighting a skunk: the lion will win, but might get sprayed in the process. HHSE has too much going for it to give any attention to ridiculousness.
Reminds me of a video I saw recently on the internet where some genius thought he was going to overpower an alligator. He sneaks up and drops a cloth over the 'gator's head then grabs for the beast. Doesn't end well for the genius. In this case, I'd say the SEC is the 'Gator and HHSE is selling the footage to America's Funniest Home Videos.
FINRA completed two major investigations of TDGI/HHSE a few years back and gave them a clean bill. The first was when they were trying to bid for Blockbuster out of bankruptcy, and the second was when they applied for a ticker change. Not familiar with Edgar requirements for non-registered equities.
GAIA Q2 revenues up and PROFITS leap 47%! Personal care, fitness and lifestyle products are BOOMING and Gaiam is the industry leader.
What's bigger box office gold than EXPENDIBLES 3? How about HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY (part one). The audience at the Arclight Theatre in Sherman Oaks gasped and clapped at the trailer.
Another green close/up day for GAIA, impressive against market pressures.
Some stocks promise, GAIA delivers. While volume seems weak, performance is strong and it wouldn't take much IR to kick-start a nice run.
Thank you GR8FX, for the allegory which eludes my comprehension. Are the scraps what SEGI shareholders are fighting for, or are the birds somehow edible in and of themselves. Please clarify because I remain hopeful that SEGI will get score soon.
Epic fail? They have a stop sign on the otc markets listing. Give us some meat to back up your position.
Any confirmation about Universal developing a Sat-am animated series on Cowboys & Aliens? Will PDOS benefit?
Hearing some industry buzz about an upcoming LGF animated series for Cartoon Network. Anyone know about this? Animators in the Vancouver market are being contacted.
I need to go back to my work station and stick to animating cute critters. Picking entertainment stocks like EFGU is not a good retirement strategy. Add in my PDOS and SEGI holdings and then wonder why it excites me to not just stick to mutual funds, LOL!
Thanks Mike. But I doubt adding another actor to the SEGI board is going to do much for the stock. Why doesn't Mr. Sylvan put the energy into filing periodic reports? With virtually zero revenues, it shouldn't take more than an hour to update the prior reports and get this issue off the Yield - Stop status. I feel pretty stupid for buying into hype that SEGI was going to the "the entertainment stock of the year" as was posted frequently on various ent stock boards last year. Unless the year he was referring to was 1899, this statement was pretty much hot-air hype in retrospect. On paper, SEGI has nowhere to go but up. If anyone can get Sylvan on the phone or email, please push him to make the periodic filings and restore full status for OTC Pinkies. I would gladly double down my shares if they would just take care of simple issues like this.
HHSE acquired Wild Blue Yonder from OPIX according to their filings.

OPIX is listed on the Cinando website for Cannes exhibitors. But you have to be a member of Cinando (a film industry company) in order to access the site. So I can't include the link here.
The Cannes Festival list of exhibitors on-line has OPIX reserved with a big booth and a yacht slot!?! I hope its a rental yacht, LOL! Sounds ambitious to say the least. Please post if you hear back from the company and try to see if they are making some big announcements in France to support that activity. Sort of like going from zero to 60 in one-second flat. Growth is great, but G-forces can tear you up if its too fast.
Hunger Games is predicted to be the top selling DVD BlueRay title for 2014. Those revenues are going to be MASSIVE for LGF. Then, what-what? There's TWO MORE Hunger Games movies already in the can for upcoming release >> WOOT-WOOT! Say goodbye to the $'30's for LGF stock.
WTF?! Was not happy to find this DD today. Have not read anything from Odyssey about losing the rights to Hank the Cowdog (or selling them)? This is a material event IMHO. Anyone heard from Jon Foster about this project?
http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/11/prweb11329360.htm
What happened to Hank the Cowdog? Is it gone from OPIX? Glad to see that Fosters got other projects, but animated films are my preference for max revenues and long-term value.
OK, so why is there almost no interest (posting-wise) for a company like GAIA (doing $200-mm+ in revenues) on IHUB, yet hundreds (perhaps thousands) of posts for what appear to be revenue-absent pump schemes from start-ups? Gaiam-Vivendi-Cinedigm is ideally positioned to explode in revenues to $500-mm+ without adding significantly to operating costs (thus, significant profit margins). The stock could or should be trading in the $20/range. So where's the IHUB chatter? Just sayin'
How much greater would the LGF earnings be if only they hadn't ignored the OSCAR potential of "MUD?" While it's notable that Matthew McConaughey is nominated for "DALLAS BUYERS CLUB", most would agree that his more memorable 2013 performance was with the Lionsgate-distributed "MUD." The Weinsteins will latch on like a Gila-monster to any Oscar opportunities, but Lionsgate treats the subject like the plague, leaving "MONSTERS BALL" up to the producers to promote and a notable film like "MUD" in the mud. Crazy, IMHO.
The Odyssey brand name is well established in the international market, going back probably 30-years or more when Patrick Wachsberger was the CEO. He is now co-chair of Lionsgate-Summit, generating over a billion annually in gross revenues. I am not familiar with the HHSE titles for international, but it sounds like a win for both companies as OPIX can definitely monetize the assets.
DO you have a bottom-line summation of your opinion of OPIX? The price is extremely low right now, almost as if the market is punishing them for having done a toxic stock deal, but pushed way too far. But the total float is still modest (and the market cap of $317,000 is less than the cash on hand for the Hank the Cowdog development fund). There's industry chatter of animation talent and voice talent for that project, which is how they caught my attention.
Yes, just joined IHUB as I was told it was a good forum for microcap discussion. Limited experience in the OTC exchange, see it as having major upside potential for right equities, and will try a few dollars in this direction.
I'm going to accumulate; if they nab some of the star cast being discussed, it will be huge.
Lots of industry buzz about Odyssey news in the works. Would be looking for a huge PPS jump soon.
