Yes it does. We shall see where it goes. I’ve seen it many times when they run a tight float like this to the moon on news, but it could also be more of the same. Good luck!
I have also seen some pretty awesome things done to make a stock fly, and it’s very possible for something like that to happen here. I’m just getting tired of the silence.
Definitely Not as professional and prepared as they led us to believe.
Ouch! That would definitely hurt. Sorry it’s been so rough. I’ve never held a play this long so I’m hoping it will pay off. There are still a lot of good possibilities, but the silence is soooo frustrating!
I suspect it was someone who is just tired of waiting. I can’t blame them, I’m definitely frustrated, but I’ve waited plenty long myself and it’s looking like we are finally ready.
Same here. I believe It’s smart people with better connections sucking up what they can on a very tight float. Seen this many times. Hopefully soon we will understand why.
I think wisdom would say to wait until earnings season is over. I’m speculating end of February/March myself. But we shall see.
Yes I agree. But I’ve also seen some of those same stocks make some ridiculous gains. I have no idea what’s going to happen here, but I like what I see and hope for a good day or two in the future where many smiles appear.
95 million outstanding
89.5 million restricted on the shelf
5.5 million float
https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/AGSS/security
The Outstanding shares is 96 million. Most of those shares are on the shelf to be used for purchases and such. The float is about 5 million. That is a very small float in my opinion and depending on what news comes out, could cause a very fast and large share increase in a very short amount of time. It’s all speculation and that’s all any of us have. But Here’s hoping for a very good 2024 for AGSS!
I for one have been here invested since September 2021. Much longer than I normally tie up money in one stock, but still hoping good things are to come, even though I’ve been disappointed at times. I must say though, if you think this stock is a stinker then by all means sell and move on. After 20+ years of trading I’ve never really understood the practice of publicly attacking the company you have your money invested in. It’s not worth the misery to stay attached, I just wish the best for everyone, and time will tell, but choosing to be miserable has got to be difficult. JMHO
Well I guess this board is open to everyone and that includes their opinions. I must say I don’t see Tiger money as a paid pumper or shill in anyway. In fact over a year ago he was quite the opposite in my opinion, but I’ve always appreciated his thoughts.
Thanks for all you do for us on this board Tiger Money. Merry Christmas everyone!
Great post Tiger. I agree completely. I to understand the pain some are feeling, because I’m Dow 12k on my original investment and even though I’ve been trading 25 years and can afford the hit, I’m not worried because I’ve also seen many times what good news with a small float can do for the share price of a good honest company. Hope for a very happy new year for all!
It’s probably just me but I keep hearing the unhappy complaining about how this company is acting like a stinky pink, but in my opinion that’s exactly what they are not doing. This company is doing things the right way and are in it for the long play. With that said I really believe we will see significant positive price movements within the next 6 months. I Appreciate the solid information and advice a few of you guys keep providing on the board. Thanks!
I feels like they are starting to rev the engine a little. I guess we’ll see if they pop the clutch and we’re off soon. JMO
I’m thinking maybe February. But that’s pure speculation.
We’ll said Tiger.
Looking good!
Very nice! Could it be the communication begins?!?!
I think you are right prosledder. I have to believe they are setting it up for much higher share price, but when it all starts happening is just a guess. I’m just thinking it may be in the next 6 months. We shall see.
I feel your pain buddy. I’m just thinking that now all of the ducks are in a row, and the market environment is better and is usually better the first 6 months of the year that they would take advantage of that. JMO
I believe they can move up to the Nasdaq pretty quickly from here Tiger. Especially if they have been preparing for that all along, and meet the requirements, which I believe they do. JMO
Uplisting From OTC to Nasdaq
So, what happens when a company moves from OTC to Nasdaq? It takes around four to six weeks to process a company’s uplisting application, which includes a listing agreement, a $25,000 application fee and corporate governance certification, among other requirements.
Nasdaq Uplisting Requirements
Also, the Nasdaq exchange doesn’t allow any company to trade on its exchange without fulfilling the minimum criteria:
1,250,000 publicly traded shares outstanding on the listing, without including shares held by the directors or officers of the company
Company’s stock listed at a price of at least $4.00 a share
At least 100 shares and 550 shareholders
Cash flow of at least $27.5 million in the last three fiscal years
Aggregate pre-tax earnings in the prior three years of at least $11 million or pre-tax earnings in the previous two years of at least $2.2 million
NYSE Uplisting Requirements
On the other hand, NYSE requires newly listed companies to have 1.1 million publicly held shares, a minimum of 2,200 shareholders, a solid board of directors, and a collective market value of at least $100 million.
NYSE and Nasdaq require the companies to follow corporate governance standards and may require an Independent Compensation Committee, for example. Also, the listing fees range from $125,000 to $295,000.
It is important to note that some companies can list on an exchange organically without the need to complete a simultaneous underwritten public offering. In contrast, other companies partner with an investment banker to achieve the uplist.
Correct.
Ok I’m done, but I really believe we’ve seen the bottom and there are only much better days ahead. JMHO
Also very exciting! Are possibilities like retiring share if they want to run the price up or don’t need all those “ shelf” shares for awhile. I have seen it many times and it gets insane when it happens.
Lol! Yes it did. The important thing to remember is that yes there are 93m shares, but all except about 5m are on the shelf so the float is very small.
Also those shares will stay on the shelf until they are used to grow the company.
That’s for sure. And when we start seeing the ask jumping up we will have many eyes all over it.
I really think it’s coming. It has certainly taken longer than I anticipated, but things are lining up nicely to see it getting exciting within the next 6 months. JMO
Our listing on the OTCQX represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy and offers increased visibility and better liquidity, helping enhance shareholder value,” said Lawrence Garcia, CEO of AmeriGuard. “This accomplishment is a testimony to our strong financial performance, corporate governance, and commitment to our shareholders. Our goal is to continue our strategic expansion, both organically and through key acquisitions, and we believe trading on OTCQX will broaden our reach within the investment community and increase our overall transparency.”
I may be wrong again with this play, but I’m looking for some very good movement up in share price before next June. Probably sooner. JMO
Yep! That why 90% of us are still here.
I’m believing much the same. Just taking awhile. Like many have said here, they seem to be doing things the right way, not just pumping.
Don’t feel alone my friend. Been holding shares for over 2 years now, definitely not my normal trade.
I agree that things are finally starting to look better after a dismal 6 months of frustration, and the only reason I’m still holding is because this looks like a good company wanting to do things right. Best wishes to everyone who has been waiting.
Thank you.
We’ll I hope that’s the case. I would love to see things start cooking soon.
This is no doubt frustrating, but I still think there are some smart people behind a good solid money making company here. The damn economic environment is not ideal in many ways and I’m sure that has had some effect on their decisions. It’s definitely Taking longer than I had hoped, but there really isn’t anything any better out there that I can see anyway. JMO
ROTFLMFBO!
