Recommendations seem to favor low cost providers w/ consistent product and reduce branding impact.
$900m consolidated entity sounds reasonable. Or ~$6 / share, but who knows.
Price to too high here I think.. Market cap with Mettrum shares added is really high
Canopy needs to be careful that they don't over extend with how many companies they are controlling. Could be a collection of lessors if they don't do it well.
Down move feels a bit heavy handed
Did buy back in about 25% of my position @ 8.11, good luck guys
$600M valuation can be justified with some ambitious assumptions, the $1-$2B that it was at cannot. Might buy back some in the 5's if they come but not trying to mess with the gift horse.
Madness on the price fluctuations
7 business days ago we were below 7. Wouldn't be surprised to see a retrace to there. CGC has the benefit of being a real, world leading MMJ company though so maybe the mad dash upwards will carry on.
Danger zone when somebody market orders 550k shares into bid.
The move today sure looked like 'volume off the top' to me.
Who knows
Volatility got too high for me. I'm out from BED IPO to now, will consider re-entry but the $ too much at this point and will have no regrets. Hope this meteor keeps rising.
Major rampage today. Somebody with way more money than this entire board combined is buying now.
Be sure you realize some of it if it is life changing. Always risk
This morning gap might be the capitulation move. TBD
Thing just went HAM today
Wouldn't be suprised if there is a big drop after financials. Company's with valuations way ahead of the revenues and profits can fall hard when reality is reminded.
Looks good. I'll be passing a couple out for Christmas gifts
Seriously? I thought they just harvested a large amount?
I was in California for a few days last week and in the short time I was there was bombarded with anti-legalization ads. I'm sure Arizona is even heavier
I assume all lp's are going through financial statement audits (obviously at least the publicly traded ones). An audit firm wouldn't risk that lawsuit and rev rec is at the top of the hit list for detail testing. Coming from a big 4 background I know D&T wouldn't play that and is anal with their audits so I'm extremely confident at a minimum Canopy is clean. Either way, I would call BS on that
Looks like this is snoops US producer:

http://www.thecannabist.co/2015/11/10/snoop-dogg-marijuana-leafs-by-snoop/43585/
If tobacco decides to get into the marijuana industry it will be by acquisition. They can't be 6 months or much more behind their peers with all the steps it takes to get top end, consistent bud in bulk.
It's several years down the road, but they are large enough to barely feel a pot producer acquisition once it makes legal sense. Canopy and others need to get far enough ahead that building their own product is not the best choice and they would lose too much market share with the time it would take. Who knows if the industry will ever get there though...
Sector going ape s*
The QOQ growth trend has progressively deviated further from the order # growth rate. Not sure if it is BED order seperation baked in or something else but looks like the order number trend is less and less reliable as a predictor.
Hope your right and it's the same - 40% QOQ growth would sound awesome
Relax, R E L A X.
Only 1 month of Bedrocan revenue was reported in the last quarterly report if I recall.? So the base for whatever % of growth might be higher than the 2.4
Bedrocan Europe is going to look for a similar vehicle to attack Australia as they did Canada. Why not under the Canopy umbrella? Deal structure already worked out, Canopy provides a financing vehicle, they take a % of revenue as recurring CF, and they own a good bit of Canopy which has higher liquidity than the private company in Europe.
Just completed my shirt order to be delivered to US. Seems they fixed it
Thanks guys. I wrote Tweed an email and I can now buy the T-shirt here in the US from the Merch store.
Merchandise store: Can I really not buy a t-shirt if I don't live in Canada? Good looking t-shirt, I want one
Next quarter should look pretty good, pick up 2 additional months of BED revenue and a nice organic growth of 30% or so. Around 3.5m revenue I would think unless the holidays cause a lag in order intake.
This price is pretty reasonable IMO, all things considered. Only 10% off institutional
Feels like support here
when legal comes, supply chain / product consistency will trump. MMAR is only a threat when market is $100M or so, when it is in the billions, they will be like micro-brew niche players.
Doubtful based on last 2 days
Puke'n rally
Tasted a bit like puke in mouth panic around 2.50. Hopefully I'm right, I doubt it gets back down to the bought deal price 2.05.
3.80 showing on Fidelity pre-market. Higher than I would have thought for about the 8th day in a row.
