Lmao.....
Hear! Hear!
great question...
Thx for the reply.
I have heard that some hedge funds short a stock without closing the position but use the position for collateral, enabling them to free up the cash for additional investment/leverage avoiding taxes (that come with closing out the position).
Have absolutely no idea if this is true or not but it would be nice if there were a shit load of short positions on NWBO prior to the expected run-up.
Wishful thinking, I know...
Fireman (or anyone else who has an opinion),
Is it your position that these shorts hold recent positions when the stock ran up last month (5/10) or do you think shorts are still holding positions from years ago when NWBO's pps was $12?
Just curious...

AF and those of his ilk create fig leaves out of thin air. We know they have been doing it for damn near a decade. Yes, the trial data should have been updated but that wouldn't have stopped AF. They would have just yelled about the change in endpoints being an LP slight-of-hand trick or some other bs (I am sure they have a list).
LP shouldn't be chasing AF's bullshit like a wac-a-mole game or focusing on him at all. When the data peer review is shared, he will be known as the fool he is. The TLD data proves we've won already. LP needs to focus on manufacturing/automation, partnering, approval and perhaps other critical objectives.
Maybe that "some reason" has to do with his humanity. He has enough to do that and invest with NWBO. Perhaps now that trial info is out, it may be possible for him and others like him to invest.

No matter how hard, how long and how insistent mean creatures hammers at NWBO, I can assure you Linda Powers will be last (wo)man standing.
You have the opportunity of a lifetime in front of you.
Results are known.
Fear keeps you from grasping it.
Snap out of it. pic.twitter.com/fojm92ZIda
The Presentation title/description doesn't look like it will include phase3 trial info. Are we getting ahead of ourselves... again? No clarifying/detail info will come out BEFORE the journal article. The presentation will likely be a general discussion to rehash exactly what was discussed previously, imo.
That's crazy but way more often than not it is true!!!!
Exactly.

Thx. Exwannabe.
OK, I see... on the summary or landing page of the portal, the status does say "Non-Final Action". But when you click on the "Image File Wrapper" it says "Non-Final Rejection". Here one can read the details as to why claims were rejected. The details are too far over my head but I did notice some of the rejected claims "would be allowable if...".
If you look at the transaction history of any patent application, this back-in-forth takes place for a while. I think, NWBO is close to finishing up this applications but it may take a bit longer.
I agree those news channels report mostly bs. No doubt politically/socially, lying has become mainstream where even "the righteous" are leading the way toward, if not directly bringing about, serious societal decay. Facts don't seem to matter anymore.
But lying about a GBM trial with unprecedented results, purporting that the trial failed, when facts directly and completely prove the very opposite, I think, is different and beyond the pale. I just don't think AF will get away with it much longer. The stakes in terms of human life, and amount of $$$ (to be lost and to be made) are too high to let it go. Furthermore, the legal risk of AF and media who prints these lies may be too, too high for the bs to continue (though, I am not an attorney). For the first time, the indisputable full facts regarding the p3 DCVax-L trial are available to fight AF's bs. Perhaps my optimism is misplaced.
I do believe AF should have been dealt with but with everything else on management's plate, did AF rise to a top priority compared to other issues NWBO management has been dealing with at the time? Because I am not privy to that answer, I am not comfortable saying management is incompetent and choose to defer to management. We may find that given the bs management has been dealing with in bring a disruptive product to market, LP far, far, far from incompetent.
But what do I know?
Don't know if this Combo-patent (14/533879) update has been posted.
https://portal.uspto.gov/pair/PublicPair (enter 14/533879)
On 5/11/2022 a non-final rejection was issued/documented. It appears that combo-patent saga continues… Although, I think NWBO will prevail as a number of the new rejected claims “would be allowable if…”, I admit these patent arguments are way above my pay grade.
Curious in what others think.
I think LP should get way more credit than she gets, imo. I also, think many of the 'mistakes' you credit to her, like for example your comparison of NWBO to ARMN wrt its TLD presentation, is premature as we really don't know the facts surrounding the issue which is necessary to render such a judgement.
But I know all too well the delays, vague statements, what seems to be unexpected, out-of-the-blue, direction-changing, etc. Though I've drawn different conclusions, I can't just ignore all of these points.
But we are here... looking at the finish line. My hats off to LP/NWBO management for getting us to this point despite the process looking at bit chaotic to a novice like me.
Goodluck to you.
I am making an assumption that if someone blatantly lies, saying NWBO failed its trial and duped other media sources to pick up the story and run with it. Heat is almost guaranteed. Those media sources have a responsibility, I would think, to vet their stories. Imagine the push back they got, listening to AF's foolishness. Statnews would have to get some heat from this, imo.
NWBO should sue AF, for sure, if not to win than to give that mf something else to occupy his time rather than engage in his bs attacks!
He has no choice now. He's feeling heat.
As CEO, I agree that LP is ultimately responsible for both the good and the mistakes. Although there were mistakes, I think some of what have been defined as mistakes were LP making the best decision out of piss-poor situation. We don't have the info.
No matter how one view it, though, the fact that we are here is a testimony to the tenacity of LP, Imo.
So, you give ZERO credit to LP?
So, you give ZERO credit to LP too?
I am not saying LL and others don't deserve credit too. But, IMHO, to give LP no credit is a bit much. just saying.
Thanks for chiming in, though, as it was meant for HappyL.
Clearly LL deserves credit... but I was referring to LP.
My question was are you more or less confident of DCVAX-L's approval after the TLD presentation?
So, you are more confident "from a scientific standpoint" DCVAX-L will be approved; But, due to mismanagement, approval will occur but not quickly enough... 2022.
No one wants to give the lady any credit....lol. Can't say it, can you!
My question was,
I agree. Everything else is just noise!
I hear what you are saying, but are you more confident in DCVAX-L's approval after the presentation or less? Just curious.
I hear what you are saying but the politicians in the House and the Senate did not hold the Presidency accountable via its constitutional power/duty. Why? Because the constituents of those politicians liked what the president was doing and still do. My contention is that politicians are an extension of their supporters. They will do the will of their supporters. If the rank-and-file supporter did not support what a given President does, the directly elected political leaders would have stopped it cold.
We experienced what we experienced in any political party BECAUSE its "people" wanted it. I am not getting into the name-calling.
In regard to AF, he may benefit from his constant attacking of NWBO for a time, but his time is near. Data will make him the fool... and day now.
Don't know if the new Gov. clinical trial info has already been posted...Sorry if it has.
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/record/NCT00045968?view=record
Current Primary Outcome Measures ICMJE
And you think LP didn't understand the impact of clinical trial's old PFS primary deliverable on the NYAS' presentation and pps... after all the shenanigans nefarious players have constantly wrought?
Responded to the wrong post...
No, I haven't... because I reasoned that Les could not tell me anything worthwhile-- other than some general feel-good, stay-invested comments-- in a private conversation.
I use to think the NWBO short scenario was bs as I was sure all shorts had long gone. But, in watching AMC, I've learned that shorts don't always cover their short position especially when they think there is little chance of the stock reversing. By not covering they avoid taxes (greedy sobs!). Instead the use the successful short position as collateral for other positions. Les, may have been right.
We will see soon LP is clueless or not.

Can't disagree with anything except the statement, "Les and Linda have stated that they were going to create the greatest short squeeze ever.... ". Everything else, I feel ya.
Either LP has this entire scenario nailed down tight (i.e. following a detailed, foolproof plan that is going to bring the pain to the bad actors and rewards to the company and its shareholders) or she doesn't have a clue. I believe the former. The NYAS presentations suggests she has way more than a clue.
I think all of the bs nefarious arguments are out in the open... is this by design? If you know where you are going and know without a doubt that you will get there, you really don't worry about the minor irritants. LP has known for a while what the outcome of this endeavor will be and I think her "knowing" is the disconnect. She has the info and, therefore, ain't concerned about the stock price 'cause she sees the end result already. We, on the other hand, don't have the info and, therefore focus on pps and can't help but to interpret the pps as "poor management".
I may be a god damn fool, but I think LP's got this.
I do like you post and understand where you are coming from, though.
When did LP and Les say this? Perhaps I may have missed it, but this doesn't sound like anything they would say... even if they thought it?
