NWBO's 10K never inspired confidence nor has anything in it ever indicated "Excellent"-- even with the stock went from $5 to over $8.
Im invested because I think DCVAX-L and -Direct will save lives and ultimately reap a significant reward. Though Linda could manage more effectively (at least from our outsider's perspective) in a number of ways, I think she has accomplished many more positive things for the company than negative. But at the end of the day there are only two questions that are important: (1) Will the L/Direct work? (2) can NWBO manufacture and distribute it to the patient cost effectively? Everything else is bullshit noise.
As long as these two questions (based on limited info) appear to be 'yes', I'm in for the long-term. I dont care about 10K (as long as it doesnt change the answer to the two questions), I don't care about sp, NWBO raising funds, lack of a finance office, etc, etc.
Buy the shares when they drop, buy 2017 options (although I did buy april $7 options) and just wait. that's my .02.
Ok, everyone. The stock price is down and here they come...
"Cancer Immunotherapy - A long-awaited reality". Great title. That says it all.
Thanks Barnstormer...I figured it out.
Never mind, I found my own answer. I'm holding my options until after announcement.
Basic Question regarding time value of April $7 options...
I (knowing little about options) invested in April 2015 $7 options for .35. I had planned to keep them until after 3/26 announcement of the DCvax-Direct efficacy data. I was told that I should sell my options BEFORE the expiration of the March 20 options after which the time value of my April $7 options would be significantly reduced to the point where I may not be able to sell them at all.
This doesn't make since to me. As long as the NWBO stock price is above the option strike price, I should be able to sell them.
Any suggestions regarding when/why I should sell my options (i.e. before or after the upcoming DIRECT announcement)?
What's the likelihood of NWBO receiving FDA approval for "L" with the next 4 weeks?
If XXXX isnt NWBO nd doesn't relate in some way to NWBO, it shouldn't be on this board.
This buyout story may be sketchy, but if roche and NWBO don't deny it, stock is likely to go up!

Too funny, Captain.
I really don't get the tone of some of these messages. Maybe it's just me but I think the tone is a bit belligerent. A lot of the points made are legitimate. Those who wrote them feel strongly about them, no doubt. But, what do you want from everyone here? What is your motive? Why are you going on and on and on. YOU MADE YOU POINT AND YOU MADE IT WELL. EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS YOUR POINT! What do want?!
Most people here invested in NWBO because of the "perceived" risk-to-reward is high and the belief that if Direct and L is as effective as the anecdotal evidences suggest, Linda's short-comings or failures will have limited impact. We know that Linda is not a God, isn't perfect and there may be decisions that should have been made differently. However, we also believe she is the reason the company is in the forefront of the cancer-vaccine effort. She ain't perfect;but, she's the one I'm betting on. In spite of the issues you discussed-- some legitimate-- I ain't selling. I'd rather risk loose it all then to sell now.
Well said, Sentiment_stocks...

I am invested in NWBO and will not change unless L or direct efficacy is less that desired or Linda does not release info on phase3-L AND phase1-DIRECT by end of 2015. However, Austin is correct. Linda is too smart to throw out a "phase3 expansion" statement with no details at all, leaving it to speculators to fill in the details. She should have provided a definition of that "expansion" or she should have not mentioned it until she was ready to.
With that said, however, Im all in NWBO and will not change until NWBO's story change (which will probably be to late to exit). So I resolved that in the end, I will be richly rewarded or I will loose 90% of what I invested. I'm OK with that. For those who aren't ok with that possibility, perhaps NWBO shouldn't be your focus.
cruise sounds good.

Thanks sd_investor_22,
That adds much needed light on the issue of pseudo- vs rapid- progressors.
Has NWBO published ANY efficacy data from ANY trial-- phase I, II or III for -L or Direct throughout the ten-years of "-L" testing?
I visited the ClinicalTrials.gov site and saw a number of Northwest trials (lINK: https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=Northwest+Biotherapeutics&no_unk=Y).
Two of them (listed below)were withdrawn BEFORE ENROLLMENT. Does anyone know why?
1. Study of a Drug [DCVax (tm)-Prostate] to Treat Prostate Cancer When
Hormone Therapy is no Longer Effective;
2. DCVax-L Vaccination With CD3/CD28 Costimulated Autologous T-Cells
for Recurrent Ovarian or Primary Peritoneal Cancer
Also, two trials (listed below) were completed but no results were released. WHY? Did NWBio already test their vaccine on Ovarian cancer?
1. A Phase I Clinical Trial of Autologous Dendritic Cell Vaccine for Recurrent Ovarian or Primary Peritoneal Cancer;
2. Safety Study of GRNOPC1 in Spinal Cord Injury
When did the DCVAX-L trial start? It seems NWBio has been in trials for 10 years...Why so long?
By the way, I am long.
Darn! I was hoping AF would do one more disingenuous NWBO hit job so I can get more shares!
Given the Eco-political climate in America where money talks and bs walks, where big-pharma can easily put the squeeze on the FDA to thwart NWBO's progress (big-pharma has a heck of lot of $$$$ to loose), LP is doing the right thing by continuing the trial. That trial is, by design, info intensive and will provide for all to see the benefits of DCVax. Unless FDA put its approval in writing, LP should NOT halt the trial.
I'm invested in BTH too. The % of float shorted, recent insider buying activities,the already-approved repurchase authorization, 400% price/volume increase over the last three days as well as the exposure of a potential squeeze. However, I do not think it will happen without some major repurchase/insider/hedge fund announcement. What do you think?
