Your headline makes no sense.
And given most people post opinions with little facts or research, it's really just entertainment on these boards.
The fundamentals, filings, and guidance are the best long term indicators of where a stock is headed. Given the market hates uncertainty, the stock seems to be in control of shorts and avoided by retail longs, the PPS continues to decline.
Using stock performance data for VRX to predict a buyout (none are known or discussed), or possible BK (in 2017 they have restructured debt payments), is ridiculous.
Technicals help determine entry and exit points. That's all.
Nope, no BK this year given the debt restructuring.
Depending on the new drug releases and pay downs it might still be a future possibility (2-4 years).
No, no Ch11 or buyout. Do some homework on how they restructured the debt and no company would take a flyer on buying them at this point.
I don't think anyone believes you bob-o.
Getting back to COPSync, they need an investor to bail them out now. I'm just hanging around to see if this is worth a few bucks below .10.
Hmm, not sure I follow the "someone is continuing to buy" theory. Looks like short term traders and perhaps LT buyers have entered the fray. The well above average positive volume is moving the stock UP.
It's actually unfortunate the company wasn't able to structure a new financiing deal at the current PPS. But such is life for a left-for-dead stock and the new partners are sure happy with the current PPS.
So, if all this goes smoothly, what's the timeline for production IF they get orders? Will Craftsman be the manufacturer for the "formal arrangement"? How much does a MG30/MG80 cost?
There are clearly some believers as I've now doubled+ my return on this one. No regrets on what I have in it as it was a speculative buy anyway.
By the way k_w, If I make a boatload of money on this one, I'm flying in to your city just to buy you dinner.
Not only that, but the most popular lot size was about 100 shares. Those aren't institutional buys and one might argue this is short term manipulation.
I do find the chart watchers an entertaining group....except no one pays bills or retires on graphs/charts.
If you think this one is rocketing UP stocktrademan, back up the truck, mortgage the house, etc.
All of this aside, I'm afraid all of this price volitility was to be expected. There's been a lot of pain around this stock. Wish you all better returns with other picks.

Actually, there are two important listing requirements. Minimum shareholder equity and a PPS above $1 for a specific period of time.
You give management too much credit. They are the reason COYN is in this mess.
DD? Given the death spiral of this stock/company, find a better place for your money.
Disclosure: Not long or short COYN.
If I write one on Cool Tech, it would be my second SA article. SA requires that you put in the appropriate disclaimers and do your own research, this is a speculative investment, etc. Anyone who thinks there are guarantees in the stock market are fools and probably should stay away from ANY stock.
Appreciate the response. I'm in touch with another contributor who posting something about Cool on the original story. I'll keep the iHub board updated.
New moderator. Request for kayak.
Since no one was a moderator here I applied. I'm thinking about doing an SA article on Cool Tech. Here's the link to an old one done 3 years ago:
https://seekingalpha.com/article/2110963-hpev-inc-small-cap-growth-with-big-ip
Kayak, given you are the most knowledgeable here, you want to help with the SA article?
Very good news. I think to your earlier point (a few posts back), a credibility issue may still exist with Cool Tech given the broken promises. So, the stock may not make any significant move until after the showcase.
If I saw insider buying at this point I'd be adding to my position.
Now that he's gone (see the 8k), the company might have a chance. But it reamains to be seen how much damage he did to Copsync. The CEO and CFO both gone within 90 days.
Glad I got stopped out on this one at .60. Price action told you this one was in trouble.
My confusion was around the significant difference between buy/sell transactions. Even with a big up day on Friday, there was more Sell Vol than Buy Vol.
But until this stock I never really looked at Buy/Sell Volume on a daily basis. It's probably a better idea to look out over weeks or a month.
Today volume is low so far. And Buy Vol is slightly ahead of Sell Vol.
"On March 20, 2017, Ward E. Leber notified COPsync, Inc. (the “Company”) of his resignation from the Board of Directors (the “Board”), effective as of that date".
Hmm, wasn't even on the COYN Board 6 months. Draw your own conclusions.
Click on the "Trades" tab to the right of Level 2 on the iHub screen. I'm using their terminology. Here's what it looks like as of this post today:
53,800 Buy
200,000 Sell
As you know, even if there are more sellers, there have to be buyers. Somehow the PPS continues to move north (which is fine for me).
With perhaps this exception. For example, today's volume of 470K+ breaks down like this:
17K Buyers
460K Sellers
Six of the seller trades were 134K+. The biggest buy was only 5,570.
Honestly, I'm just trying to understand how this works for WARM and other stocks. How can any stock only go down about 3% what that much selling pressure?
Although the stock price is up, sellers continue to have a big lead in daily trading.
Not sure how this one goes UP when 57K bought and 277K sold today.
Hello Longs. On and off, been scanning the APRI board.
Oldtimer, I agree with most if not all of what you have written here. And when you talk about costs, you could also talk about opportunity costs around this stock which have been negative BIG time for most. Damn, if you just invested in the S&P over the last 5 years you would have done well.
I'm not in this stock and don't plan to be. On to better returns and a few speculative picks. In the end I think it's clear Apricus management is to blame for most of the continuing issues.
Happy hunting.
There are some basic lessons to be learned (or re-learned) here.
If you buy a volatile, high risk stock, try to guess a bottom (technicals, charts, etc.) and set a stop if you plan to go long. I got stopped out 3 times (last time at $14) and overall had a very small loss. I'm fine given I know VRX was a gamble and I was able to preserve my capital.
It's ok to be wrong, on a small scale, with a stock. Your home runs more than make-up for little losses. But to let any buy turn into a big loss is just a mistake. Learn from it. I know I have.
Buzzer please. Wrong answer.
Exactly k_w. I'd say there is BIG risk, but if you go by recent developments, less so than before.
I don't buy stocks on feelings. Was in it briefly because it appeared to have promise. They continue to issue cheap shares, burn cash, and lose money.
GL. You'll need it.
LOL. Sounds like you work for them. But I'm not buying the stock based on anything you say or a PR.
Or continue to implode....
You chart guys are always predicting an uptick if something is "oversold". This one is a dog. Woof.
I don't buy speculative penny stocks based on hope. I started a very small position and got stopped out. Putting in stops is the only way to protect yourself with stocks/companies like this.
Excellent summary k_w.
Yes, no movement is due to the lack of credibility and it's a OTCBB stock selling for a dime. High risk, speculative, and won't see any significant buyers until....until it does.
But I'm willing to gamble a bit given what seems to be positive internal movement. And make no mistake, it is a gamble given it's current situation.
Disclosure: Long 15,000 shares at .105
Why? Just to keep the price around .10? You can report him, yes?
Wait, 500 shares shortly before the closing. Something is up/down.
No trading volume today?
Hmm, send me the link here if you would.
Uranium prices have been depressed for years. Even spot pricing is well below contracted rates for URG. Until demand is up and supply is down, I don't see a continued big uptick in the short run. Yet.
Nice run up for you guys. Hope it continues.
-Grow
Before I give a guess, how did you come up with 4x?
More like sucker punch.
Stock is being manipulated. They did a PR saying "a positive 2017 business outlook for its core products".
Eh? That's worth a 50% uptick in PPS? LOL. I'm staying on the sidelines.
And they blow thru cash like nobody's business.
Body cameras? Better figure out how to profitability expand COPsync first.
Guess I'm in the ballgame now. First limit order at .11.
