Thank you for your response.
It looks like you should be running this company as you have proven very knowledge over the years here.
"The first aircraft served its purpose - it allowed them to last a few years in a protracted certification process. "
What purpose was that? Baltia did not and does not still need an aircraft. All they needed and need right now is a minimum of a lease agreement per FAA.
Which must be true, they do not OWN an aircraft right now. Kalitta took the engines off and placed them in wrapped "safe" keeping. An airframe is not an aircraft if the engines and engine mounts are missing.
So, buying a hunk of junk and selling it for much less than what they bought it for was a complete waste of stock holder money.
And the FAA is concerned with the safety of aircraft, not stock pumpers pumping a stock.
Can you place how far into phase II we are using the FAA map of events? What part of training are we in?
It will not end. They have 23+ years of kicking the can down the road. The pie in the sky crew here and over at the other boards keep telling us these things are no big deal, like a slimy used car salesman. I don't blame them, they just repeat what they are told by the real slimy ones. Lets meet them half way.... what will happen to keep it going?
Another website update
More facebook pictures
No those are old hat tricks.
Another little plane - when does the current little one need an A thru Z chech, new wheels, new engines
Oh here is a new idea
Lease a later model aircraft?
Reverse Split, yeah do a reverse split to get more out of the private placements!!! But that is a hat trick too.
It is fun, why the others get so upset? Baltia will keep things status quo: just enough hope, sell more PP, sinking stock price, we give them something to bitch about instead of finding a way to fire the two lead people. No, just keep god damn St Petersburg in your mind, fly by fly!
Oh, yeah IMHO GLTA
No prob I will try again,
Your post paints a bad picture of the airline industry after 9/11. I am asking, how was the airline industry doing before 9/11.
And I will get to my point. The airline industry going to hell cannot be blamed totally on 9/11. 9/11 was more like the last few nails in the coffin for many airlines. Lets not forget that the tech bubble was coming undone in 2000 and airlines starting bleeding money in 2000, union problems, etc. It is a tough business without 9/11 and the new rules.
What was a general health of the airline industry before 9/11? Air traffic is HUGE, seems that a weeks worth of being shutdown would not knock out so many if they were healthy to begin with. Massive industry yes, but maybe very small profit margins. But, what was the health of the industry before hand?
Better position than last year, how?
The plane is rolled in, the plane is rolled out. ICC training, or is it pilot training. Manuals approved or only a very small portion of the manuals. And a c-check that is not finished and a d-check coming in a few months. The d-check is a couple of million just for labor, then how much for parts? And then there is approval by the Russians, but that is very very long away.
This is Stockholm syndrome for many, IMHO
Not a problem. There is still minutes of trading left in the day and "someone" will buy 100 to 1,000 shares to bring it up some. It happens everyday.
When it is not too cold, where is it being done....Key West? It is very cold where the plane is parked outside.
The time line may not be a problem with the vendor as the plane is worked on when the vendor doesn't have a customer with a plane that actually flies. It is win-win for the vendor. Baltia fills in the vendor's empty spaces.
Why would the 706 be kicked out of the hangar by another aircraft?
Is the C-check not paid for completely?
I understand you may not know those answers, they are not really directed at you. But this you can answer.
How long does a D check take on a 747?
Thank you.
Thank you for your response. Yes I read it all very critically, not a paid basher as some would think. I am going to sit back and let it play out. My critical points may come true and hopefully they wont. For now I am going to move into the polite disagree side on many areas and let time show us the answers. Pie in the sky optimism and repetitive negativity does no good.
IMHO GLTA
All in all, GLTA in this mess, even those that send nasty private emails. This company's way of doing business has polarized people. Simple questions get totally beat to heck, name calling, other sites and the name calling and threats. Let me try an olive branch sorta thing. Someone make the pitch how things are truly on the up and up this time. As it will be your opinion I am not going to slice and dice it, just tell me what you see.
Thank you
Can Baltia come out and say that all manuals are approved?
That was once a major sticking point on this board, people seem to have forgotten it.
I am done for a while, you guys wouldn't feel right without the other side giving you your game.
You said it is underway, they are not.
Here is a quesiton: Are ALL the manuals approved?
IMHO, it is too bad people cannot ask questions here about the slippery wording of PRs, SEC filings, etc.
My point,
Read the DOT letter correctly, quote it correctly, the mini evac and proving flights are to follow, mean to take place in the future, they are not underway, my point.
"Initial Cadre" not Cadre by itself, jargon is for pilots around the water cooler, FAA does not put "jargon" in their website.
Initial Cadre of Pilots is different than the word "PILOT" by itself.
Yeah, you're right we are JUST in phase II, are ALL of the manuals approved so that PILOT training can be begin, not the cadre check airmen pilots?
The manuals needing to get into "crew" training is not done. The letter to the DOT is no different than the PR. Skillfully written to say cadre training has begun and slip in how wonderful it will be when the other training is COMMENCED.
Can BALTIA come out and say the manuals are completely finished and therefore all training can begin?
There are MILLIONS of shares out there sold at the sub penny by PP, IMHO, even the PR of paying customers will not bring the stock price above major resistance.
The letter to DOT is the same as the PR. Some truth and a great deal of truth/hope and pray slippage.
Where in the letter does it say Phase II has begun?
If they list $.006 as market value, and show in the 10Q money taken in from the sell of the shares that match the shares x $.006 are about the same (actual money collected is lower by 155k), then they sold them for what? They can put anything they want in the 10Q?
Item 2. Unregistered Sales of Equity Securities and Use of Proceeds.
During the nine months ended September 30, 2013 we issued 595,738,104 shares of our common stock in exchange for cash. The shares were valued at $0.006 per share and reflected the share market value at the time of issuance. The shares are not registered and are subject to restrictions as to transferability.

Stock Issued for Cash
During the nine months ended September 30, 2013, we issued units consisting of 595,738,104 shares of our common stock and 9,849,999 warrants in exchange for cash. The shares sold for cash were subscribed at $3,408,014, approximately $0.006 weighted average per share.
If their "average" is like most other averages that means a good deal is sold under $.006.
Damn, makes the price of baltia look good right now, since they were sold sometime over the summer and are now past their 90 day hold.
Oh, wow thanks for telling me that, because the SEC filing said otherwise. What a relief.
Lets hope training did start, lets hope rev flights begin soon. They are selling private placements at $.006 now. And they call that market value. Baltia feels that the stock is worth $.006 when they sold them.
My last post had some errors with respect to phase three requirements.
GLTA
The PR is misleading. Its most likely check airmen training, not pilots that will fly to Russia. Once all manuals are approved the PHASE THREE PR will happen. When baltia hits phase three they will make the PR and then real pilot training will happen. Where is the phase three PR? Phase two PR was on 4/11/13 which is when this ICC training could start. THE MAIN STAY OF MANUALS ARE NOT READY. When they are approved baltia is in phase three, a huge PR. My posts are about the misleading statements and misleading PRs. Further, the plane was not needed for the application as it has been said many times. Smoke smoke smoke and misleading comments.
That over worded response says pilot sure, check pilots have to be pilots first, and it never mentions manuals.
ICC training can start without manuals. The most important manuals to get to phase three.
Bottom line, ICC training does not need manuals. Manuals are not approved, nothing from reg.gov. There is no proof that manuals are anywhere near ready. This ICC training that has just started could have started the day baltia made it into phase two.
The ICC is check airman, not pilots, no manuals needed, just show that the check aircrew have the experience to be check airmen. No manuals needed, no "TRAINING MANUALS", so none approved, IMHO
Diving deeper into the FAAs site tells a different story.
http://fsims.faa.gov/PICDetail.aspx?docId=8900.1,Vol.3,Ch20,Sec1
From FAA website: http://fsims.faa.gov/wdocs/8900.1/v10%20air%20trans%20over%20sys/chapter%2006/10_006_002.htm
The table looks better on the website: It shows that the initial training can begin before manual approval. Further reading shows that an aircraft not need to be purchased to even begin the conversation with the FAA. It shows that a good deal of information put out on this board is fluff, IMHO.

Is there any word on manuals being approved?
I do hope it all works out. There are a lot of good people involved with this project. My critical questions and comments are targeted on the very top leadership. Likewise, over zealous belief and hate for the company hurts the conversation here also. IMHO GLTA
Its too bad facebook cleans up the photo data, we could find out when the picture was taken and sometimes its location.
Management is on the board but not that guy.
How is getting loans toxic? Isnt that how most companies do business? If they had would the plane have flown years ago?
WIth your 40 years of experience what do you say to the $90mil that has been spent but the company has not made much head way in 23 years?
Do you have an opinion on the $90mil that was raised and spent with respect to where the company is right now?
No, you are wrong. A good leadership team is a good team, making money or preparing to make money. Does that mean good leadership teams are not needed in non-profit corps? Their job is too spend everything they bring in for their cause, so therefore they can be sub par because they don't make money?. The other parts of the post --- total BS. No one here needs to be told how to think or "gotten through too", IMHO GLTA
The past is a great indicator of the future. In business terms the past two years are nothing. The many years before are a much better indicator of the future, IMHO. Piss poor leadership and no changes in leadership......probably means more of the same in the future. The little plane has gone back and forth in MI in the past with no fanfare. Speak of training starting has been around for months. Basically, one step forward .9 steps back.
