I guess it's going to be pretty quiet here until after the annual meeting.
It hit 30 cents today. I just wish people would stop selling their shares for peanuts.
Lol. Good analogy. I think you might have a better chance to win than you think you do though. My fingers are still crossed.
If you still own stock, you don't think it's inevitable that it will go to zero.
You can't say inevitable until they're out of money. They're about 2 years away from that.
If it weren't for DK and TG, the testing would have stopped years ago; along with everything else.
If it has a cheap watch put on it, it will be a watch. If it doesn't have one, it's a bracelet.
I agree with the last two post except that I don't think they have disdain for the shareholders. It's difficult to be optimistic after so much failure but I think we have a good chance with the pump and a small chance with the watch. The watch appears to be a fairly inexpensive shot at a possible moneymaker. I can't fault them for making the attempt. My fingers are still crossed.
Hope that guy kicks himself later this year. It wouldn't take much of a bump to make a lot of money at these prices. Time will tell.
The $8,000 was just for yesterday's filled order. I doubt that he is buying that many total shares with the expectation that he will be cashing unemployment checks next year.
Yup. He may have to raise his bid. Lol. Didn't someone post that if DK bought 100,000 shares that would get his attention? Well? He's almost there.
I see that DK bought 668 shares yesterday at 14 cents. He must be the one that has a 35,000 share order to buy at 14 cents. What about the rest of the Board? How about you guys showing a little love?
The accountant takes a new job and you think it's over? Right. It's over if they run out of money before they bring a product to market. Until then, it's not over.
This is FAR from being over.
It can be either. A cheap watch can be put on it if desired. The Apple watch isn't really a watch either; it's really a small sports monitor/computer. The two are not in competition with each other.
I don't believe the Apple watch alerts a driver that is drowsy. Therefore, Torvec would not be competing with Apple.
I think the concept of the WAM is to not only to reduce accidents and save lives but to lower insurance costs of the users. The users of the WAM could actually make money by using them if the insurance companies give them a large enough credit. The potential is there but, as we all know, has not yet been realized.
Sorry. I meant to spell "doze off".
If you are starting to "dose off" it's too late. At 60 MPH or more you have probably crashed at that point. What is needed is something to warn drivers that they are becoming drowsy way before it is a problem.
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was responding to your exact post. I was responding to prior posts in a general sense.
Just because things haven't worked out yet doesn't mean that they won't in the future.
ABC News 2020 report on drowsy truck drivers was on March 14th. The Walmart driver in the accident in June had been awake for almost 24 hours. There are many hundreds of thousands of accidents each year attributable to drowsy driving.
Good question for the annual meeting in 3 months. Maybe Labus, the pump consultant, can give a report. I think he attends the annual meetings.
I agree. I've said it in many ways. This story is not over. I think they're down to the last two products that will be marketable; especially the pump. For those that are discouraged, don't give up yet.
There is a big difference between telling the truth and being wrong. The testing is obviously taking longer than we or DK expected or hoped. That's the trouble with predicting deadlines. We all want the testing to be finished and be successful as soon as possible. We also want sales of products as soon as possible. I doubt that DK wants anything different than what we do. Here's hoping he makes it happen.
This company was in deep crap a long time ago. You should have lost all your money then but thanks to DK and TG it has a possibility of success. IMO the WAM was discussed first because it will probably be ready first.
Things were different then than now. The previous history of this company is why the price is so low now. If Torvec went public today at 25 cents a share with TG owning 47% of the stock and patents on two products in this stage of development, we would all put in some buy orders. I think the future is much brighter than the past. Time will tell.
If they start selling something, there's going to be a lot of people that kick themselves for not having bought the stock at this price.
Yesterday's postings disappeared. Was it something we said?
I assume TG got that as part of his millions to keep the business going. Does it really matter? He and a small number of shareholder friends can vote to do whatever they want. We're just along for the ride at this point. I think there is an honest attempt being made now to make this business a success. That's all I ask for. I can't ask for a guarantee. I wish I could.
If you have a home run to win the game, it doesn't matter if you struck out at your previous at bats.
Saw the latest purchase. He now owns 65,000 shares. I know that's not a lot (cost him over $17,000 though) but i can't believe he would put his own money into buying the stock if he even remotely thought it was a future failure.
Not a chance.
Actually, I was hoping for some pizza.
Unfortunately, so far they have done nothing but test. We're down to our last two potential products that are constantly being tested; never sold. Here's hoping that changes soon. Casa Larga is only 5 months away. I'm remaining positive. At least until then.
8-k filed today. See above.
The bid and asked numbers are on Scottrade. At the close today there was an unfilled bid to buy 127,900 shares at 20 cents and 2,500 shares offered for sale at 25 cents. Normally the bid to buy number is way less than 10,000 shares. Therefore, I am presuming that there is one large amount wanted to be purchased at 20 cents by one individual. This doesn't mean much except that somebody is willing to plunk down $28,000 to own 140,000 shares of TOVC in hopes of making a big score down the road. On December 1rst, over 320,000 shares traded. I'm hoping that was a tax loss sale for 2014 and those shares will be bought back in early January. They have to wait at least 30 days in order to take the loss. It will be interesting to see if a larger block is purchased then. Stay tuned. 2015 might be our year.
Someone is trying to buy 140,000 shares at 20 cents today. Hope he sells it next year for a big gain.
