Hey!
Long time no chat. Back in Iraq, man, I hope they provided you with something decent to simulate the holidays. You stay safe over there and hurry back.
AIG, yeah, you're not alone in that one, except, think back, no one wanted to touch it with a ten foot checkbook. It was very scary, close to going under. The same with some other stocks. You made your profit walked away, nothing wrong with that. Heck, I thought I was going to become a millionaire with QBID, and instead I lot a boatload of money. I was stupid, and I'll never live to forget about it. I remind myself constantly.
Back in March of this year, when things were looking doom-and-gloom, I took a chance on one of the banks (US Bank), who I happen to work for. I bought the stock big time and am holding for at least a year to avoid the short-term capital gains tax. It was a safer play than most of the other banks. I didn't want to risk any funds on the stocks that were sub-$5/share.
Hold on to CITI for the long haul and you should be fine. NFLX has also been very good to me. I love the company. Let's see how things do in 2010.
Stay well, and safe, and hurry back home!
Cheers,
- G
Hi ya!
I found the blog thing (amazingly). Very colorful words being used on the site.

Check out the next-to-last post... that's the winner... hehe.
<grin> the furry one had a fun time on Halloween. She was playing the barker/greeter role at the door. Lots of kids stopped by and it seems that all that the pooch wanted was to get a good look at them. The hilarious part is that she slipped right out the front door one time and started trotting around the front yard (which was covered with meandering kiddies in costume)! For a moment I wasn't sure as to what she would do, but she seemed content to take a quick gallop around and finally returned after a few calls. Crisis averted!
Stay well... I shall return. <grin>
Cheers,
G
Hi ya!
I was able to track down that blog. Warning, everyone's being pretty blunt about their anger on the site... hehe:

Check out the last few entries near the bottom, which are dated earlier this year. There's the mention of cremation.
What a cute pair of puppies. So nice of you to include them with your messages. They are probably seeing more of the world in their electronic travels than we are! <laughing>
Take care, I'll stop by once again in the future.
Cheers,
G
Hi ya! I (of course) did some more Frank research and stumbled upon a blog that mentioned something about cremation and ashes. No matter, the disaster is done.
All has been well. Very busy at work and in graduate school. Gotta keep the education going if one wants to be able to maintain pace. Stocks are doing pretty well this year (because I jumped in big time in March, when most were fleeing from the beaten up bank stocks... that was the time to buy).
The puppy, she's great. She's right here on the floor (in her bed) next to me now. She's got one in the bedroom, in the office, and downstairs (her day bed). Pampered, and very clingy, but very sweet.
All going well on your end of things?
Oye vey, I can hardly believe it. The chatter continues. I'm still holding a boatload of CPPD, which isn't worth as much as the bilge water in a boat. At least I got a chuckle when I realized the chatter still continues. I was debating whether to clean house of those pesky shares. The only thing that's stopping me is the thought that at some time in the future I might be able to get a few more cents out of a sale.
I hope all of you are doing well. Actually I was searching to see if luckily some evil event had befallen upon the thieves that stole my money.
Stay safe...
- Mr. G.
Is this thing still alive? I can't believe I still have the shares in my account... I guess they are just ripening (hopefully not rotting, but possibly rotting).
Any news on that SOB Frank? Alive? Dead? In Prison?
- Anacanapanasan
<laughing> very funny...
Anyone still holding CPPC? I figure the shares would need to get to $100 for me to break-even.
Pain, lots of pain.
Hello... hello... Is this mic on?
Thank you so much CFlynn. As odd as it may sound, it feels good just for the sake of closure. It's not as if I'm expecting money to flow in, but justice goes a long way in helping one to feel better about a situation.
I'll never, ever forget the monies that I've lost on Q, but not having the closure would constantly eat away at me.
Much appreciate your feedback. Thanks again!
Doomed doomed, we're all doomed. This is a recording. *click*
Ditto on that question. Any sightings? The hunting party is getting anxious.
Sweet. Keep that up, but don't let the greed bug bite you... that infection is what caused me to blow oodles of money on QBID. That is the overriding cause, as opposed to fraud, etc. If I had kept my sanity about this type of investment my losses would have been minimal, and quite limited. I know I wasn't alone, but that's not excuse.
Stay safe over there man. I'm sorry that you have to be over there. Thinking about it will just start pissing me off. You make sure that you get your butt back here in one piece. Nothing is more important than that.
Don't disappear on me either. Keep in touch!
- G
Yo' buddy... thanks for saying hello. Good to know you're still around. Wellstone, man, what a waste of time that turned out to be. I remember thinking it would be revolutionary and bring in oodles of money. Are they dead yet? Even QBID seemed to have more going for it, unfortunately that one turned out to be a good scam. So you aren't alone man, lots of others lost their shirts on it as well.
Currency trading, like FOREX? Sounds interesting, and if you can pull out $500/day that's sweet action and you couldn't ask for more than that. Just be careful.
You have a happy new year and stay safe out there.
- G
It isn't about who's dumping stock, it's about who's buying it, and why anyone in their right mind would contribute one red cent to this scam of a scammy scam scam.
I was set to let my QBID shares vaporize, so letting CPPC vaporize is of little difference to me. If it ever becomes something, great, if it vaporizes, just the same.
We were screwed by the lying Frankie Frank Frank long ago. No sense in thinking that this metamorphosis of a company is any different.
Is he dead yet?
Dangit... don't tell me I'm hanging on to nothing. I mean, I felt as though I was that guy that tripped and nearly slid off the cliff, but this little pine with some feeble roots happened to be there and I luckily grasped hold of it. Now I feel the 1/4 inch trunk making some snapping sounds.
The film library will surely save us. <LMAO>
DISCLAIMER: Please disregard any of the previous statements.
What up?
I'll ride the stock down to the 0.0001 mark.
What up Seattle???!!!
Sell? With a spread of 0.70? Might as well give away the hamburger money.
Is this thing still alive? I was looking through some old income tax records and remembered WLSF... and now it's what, WFLT? The stock looks like road kill. I think I bailed when I was able to make a nice profit on it, only to get slaughtered by QBID... I mean, SLAUGHTERED. Now it's CPPC and maybe it'll turn into something over the course of a decade (if the current shareholders are lucky).
Oh well, nothing but disaster over these pennies.
Hope all are well... (SmokingUSA, I noticed you out there... hope you're doing ok).
- Geronimo
Makes me feel sick to my stomach
Good find. Thanks.
Yep, sounds like a scammity scam to me... maybe it's Frankenrat?
TDAmeritrade
I still show QBID shares in my account. Any feedback on when this will be updated to CPPC? Have others with different brokers received their CPPC shares in exchange for the QBID shares?
Thanks
This must be a cruel joke...
2.45/3.20 on 312,000 shares
I'll buy a piece of that action.
See my principal? I'm hoping there's enough left over for a few burgers. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Honestly, though, one can only hold out hope. The options are to wait things out and pray that this eventually (years, many years) turns into something tangible/credible, or sell out and forget about it. I figure, why take the loss, I don't need it (already have plenty on the books), so frig it, wait it out.
How hopeful am I? Emmm, so minimally hopeful that one would need a scanning electron microscope to see it.
Got some good movement on the stock, price is at 0.79/1.01 on volume of 218,000.
Interesting... who knows how it'll all work out. I still have QBID shares in my TDAmeritrade account.
Thanks, but it's a she, with a birthmark on her nose.
they can only dump shares if someone is willing to buy... I wonder who the fools are?
Even if they offered all whatever shares for 0.0000001/each, I wouldn't touch them. There is some kind of scam going on with this thing. Who on earth would want to touch this nightmare of a shell?
Remember this one? I wonder if this asset was transferred over to the new company. It's a keeper.
and another...
Another from the vault:
I had two really funny ones... one was a transform from human to gorilla, and another were some Q-wik Wipes... either imageShack decided to delete them or someone complained and they removed them. They are gone. Oh well, the gorilla one was killer.
For you accounting fans:
Did this ever come to fruition?
Hey there!
I just depressed myself again. Plugged the numbers into a spreadsheet and there's a slight chance I might be able to purchase a pack of gum with the change.
Is that Frankfurter still out there somewhere? Even though it's hunting season, I think the dear has nothing to worry about.
We're back, baaaayby... erm, are we?
I second that question... any news on the passing of Hanus Majoris?
Sell at the bottom? <laughing> Oh man, too funny. "The bottom" implies that there is a "top". Forget about it. I'm hoping that one day it'll officially rot off the radar on its own. In the meantime, it's a reminder of the greatest investing mistake of my life. Good punishment.
a new carrier is on the way...
+++ATZ NO CARRIER
ooops... sorreeeeeeeey. <laughing>
