That's one of the reasons "Skunk Works" was so successful with Kelly Johnson at the helm, th6565.
IHUB does too. If you go to "LWLG Detailed Quote"....then "Trades"...it lists each trade as "Exch." "nasd". Not sure why. I don't believe OTC is part of Nasdaq.
Funny post Wise...You started out calm and collected and ended up cheering it on...haha...Seems like you meant well but subconsciously couldn't contain yourself. Here's to both sides of the coin.
Lot's of memories there with Spicolli! Great soundtrack to that film.
Yes, I miss the old guard that I got to know a bit through this board. Gates hasn't posted in 10 months. JohnnyLW posted a few weeks ago.
I was thinking earlier that we haven't heard from JohnnyLightWave recently.
Now you know better than to let late evening message board creepers bother you Vein.
Good work th6565...congrats to you and your family.
I don't think ML wishes a buyout. He may not have final say but I think he wants to run with it. Bill Gates...Steve Jobs...Elon Musk...Michael Lebby?
Better drink some bourbon, vein....for your nerves.
Haha..."in the trenches". You're right Mcfish...we've been in this together. Not what Rambos would consider a trench, but a financial trench anyway.
Most of us have put the time in with LWLG and it would be nice to be rewarded for that effort, but taking any off the table is out of the question for me, although some may have reasons for doing so and that's fine. It's nice to imagine fellow posters here with a new spring to their step. I wouldn't like the feeling of selling some now and knowing that I was losing money every day if the PPS continues upwards.
There are not many people I've been in contact with for 9 years, and have never met. Hopefully an investor party is in our future.
Congrats everyone.
That's funny, th6565! eom
Waiting for dry powder is the worst, pochemunyet. I feel your pain. I had to wait for some recently.
I've always told them that it's a company I'm excited about...to buy a small amount and track it...do DD.
In th6565's case, it's a 110 year science experiment...! eom
Five cents a day is ok by me.
I agree F2...good point about the 256 board followers.
The varied inputs and contributions made to this board by the many good faith posters make it a solid asset to new investors.
All the best to you too brother.
I think someone said recently, volume precedes PPS...My hope is we continue to see volume near 500k daily. That may be wishful but I think PPS will continue to rise at that volume level. Volume, with a declining PPS is finite...Volume with a increasing PPS is infinite.
(A layman here.)
If the increased volume is new investors, nibbling at a few thousand shares here and there, hopefully they'll continue and their friends will continue to bite.
I've nibbled recently, too so I'm included.
A month ago, we briefly discussed NVWM, (Northern Virginia Wealth Management LLC) buying a tiny position in LWLG. (Why? To track?)
I wonder what they think of it now?
I agree chsmoke. eom
I hope you recover quickly. All the best. My friend came down with it and had some rough body aches/fever for 10 days or so. Survived with no noticeable problems.
I'm sure I won't be complaining about a "big price" and that may happen...I just have a feeling ML wants to run with it.
I think a buyout of LWLG will be much less profitable for all. I also don't believe ML wants a buyout. I don't think you develop this type of tech, only to sell it to someone. It's not one simple device...it has the potential to be revolutionary and all encompassing.
I'm drawing no conjecture between Intel and LWLG...just that it's do or die time for Intel.
That hedge fund letter from him to Intel was a doozy. Action followed quickly. It was only a few weeks ago, and CEO replaced.
I'm happy that you're right side up th6565! You and your family deserve it. Thanks for your input and frank, honest comments.
Hi Richard...Happy New Year to you. Good things coming!
Emphasis on "my guess"...eom
Good question and it occurred to me as well, when I read the patent.
My guess is hermetic seal is still relevant for some applications and as a patent, but LWLG has gone one better with the sealant for our specific needs.
Good idea Cin. eom
Haha....Heeeeeeeee's back!
Happy New Year to you too GP!
I think he was talking about what's referenced in this recent release, as being a secret sauce.
Are you the same BLW from years ago or someone different?
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., December 16, 2020 -- Lightwave Logic, Inc. (OTCQX: LWLG), a technology platform company leveraging its proprietary electro-optic polymers to transmit data at higher speeds with less power, today announced that it has developed a new sealant for its future Chip-on-Board (COB) packaged polymer platform.
The sealant, which blocks oxygen and other atmospheric gases, is a key step in the company’s development towards a polymer modulator without a package, an important enabling technology for the industry. The company plans to develop the sealant for commercial implementation in its future modulators.
That's a big boy letter, SS. eom
Price is up 60% since Oct. What price are you looking for?
Put your hand up if you're not looking for excuses/reasons why this stock won't trade higher. My hand's up.
Obviously, we can't put any weight to that post, but it's something to think about. Perhaps X can shed some light, although he will probably be cryptic. (Seems to me it's sort of a hit and run post...meant to elicit or gain a reaction)
I hope you all have a very nice Christmas and Holiday season. Enjoy your time with your families, whether in person or on Facetime.
GP can be the referee! eom
He'll be back...and if not, we'll make sure he attends the shareholder party!
