A little song for AMY!
http://www.minibite.com/thesexes/itshardtokiss.htm
Yep, she needs to be nice to me for 12 years, or I may have to work till I'm a 70 year old fart...
But then again, I'm not sure I can hold a fart for twenty years.
DQ,
Thanks, been working on our family budget forecast so that we can start front-load our retirement investments for 2006 and beyond.
I notice the SS perfect storm on our forced retirement in 12 years;
Wife @ 70 years; $1250/month times 1.4 equal $1750/month
Husband @ 62 years; $1250/month times 0.7 equal $1750/month
I broke the bad news to the wife that she may have to be taken off the bench and be place back in the workforce for about 12 years.... ( with a straight face!!)
Screw the pride and lay yourself at her feet, offer to mow her grass and pick-up her dog's dropping...
P.S. Don't forget to buy some onions and roses.
Amelia News Link,
What happen to the Company new link on their website, MIA?
Tempy the "white knight" will save us and restore AMY to here dancing glory.
Will AMY find true love today?
1/8 penny to the upside today on Amy.
I had all of 2006 booked up, but one of the local airplines wanted to relocate to another airport and it placed about $2 billion dollars worth of construction projects on hold.
For the last three months I only had work booked till mid-Nov, but now it's estimate my project should be starting in Jan-2006.
One always has to keep the backlog in mind before spending ones money....
DQ,
Good news my Airline Project is being taken off hold, and I'll be able to add about 1-1/2 years of design backlog to my employment reserve, and a few more gold coins for IYSA.
Project design support for the Airline sector is slowly taking off.

If the DOW breaks 10,000 we need to start impeachment proceeding against BUSH and his loyal followers.
No safe ships in the bath tub this month, my SAX margin play is starting to take on water.
You were the LOFO trader on the play.
LOFO - (Last on, First Off)
Works for me!
You may have to push the BUS out from the mud hole that Luggy drove us into....
One can always speculate, but I think it's to early to play.
The Key point of the message would be the Feb 06 play.
"Come the end of Feb. 06 which is just a few months from now, AMDS will "own" their merchants (provided AMDS has fullfilled contractual obligations with First Data). What this means is that BERT can sell off his merchant base for a price. Though there are variances in the industry, getting $1500-$2500 per merchant in not unrealstic."
My break-even is about 4 cents, and I have sell-points from 4 cents to 6 cents to help capture the future AMDS NEWS release.
Pebbless may be flipping the record and start supporting the stock to unload his shares in the near-future. IMHO

Where AMDS...I mean, Bert stands now................
When AMDS had approx. 1200 merchants of which about 1050 where profitable this past January, AMDS took in about $39k after chargebacks, etc......
Now, with some of the merchant base taken away by salespeople who left for other ISOs, my guess is there is about 700 profitable merchants remaining. That comes to an approx. $25-26k in monthly residual income.
With Bert, 1 or 2 salepeople, and a secretary, that leaves a pretty nice income base for Bert to live off of.
You have a $1500-$2000 monthly lease, $2000 Secretary, Salespeople get commissions but maybe a base of $1500/month x 2 salespeople= $3000, equip. rental, utilities, phone, insur., etc...another $4000.
So you have about $11,000 in monthly operating expenses before BERT gets paid. So Bert has $14-15k monthly income.
Even if the expenses run another $5000 or more, that still leaves a whole lotta fun money for Bert to play with !!
Of course, you don't think Bert is paying himself a realistic salary of say $5k a month and keeping the rest in retained earnings, do you ??
Heck, Bert is living larger and with less stress than ever before.
A year ago, he had run this biz with a $120,000 monthly payroll !!....and another $25-30k in monthly expenses.....and was only taking in about $30,000 in monthly residuals..........i.e.
AMDS biz plan was upside down by about $120,000 a MONTH !!....Now ask yourself, why did the share count go from 15 million shares in March of 2004 to over 48 million by Febuary 2005 ?? The stock price was trading over that time in prices from 15 cents to 60 cents. Bert liked to sell stock to "investors" at a discount to the current market price so lets guesstimate that he sold stock at 10 cents per share on average, that would mean he recieved in $3.3 million (33 million additional shares x 10 cents/share). Bert was out selling the hell out of shares to keep the biz and his lifestyle afloat instead of being a "good" businessman and downsizing the company way back when, keeping costs under control, and NOT DILUTING EACH AND EVERY SHAREHOLDERS OWNERSHIP.
Then of course, he issued himself that preferred to knock all shareholders out of any say.
As best I can figure, from March 04 to Feb 05 is 11 months. The months of March, April 04 and Oct thru Feb didn't have the large monthly payroll and expenses as did the summer months so a good guess is that $100k was the average monthly expenses over that time. That means about $1.1 million was spent operating the biz over that time. If $3.3 million was raised, what happened to the rest of it ??
If he only got 5 cents a share (which in unrealstic as I know of many examples where he got 35 to 25 cents a share for stock), that would still leave over $1 million unaccounted for !!
I ask, where did this money go ??.
Now, I have no idea where creditors, IRS, lawsuits, etc...stand and/or if anything has been done with these entities to resolve matters. Berts very good at not answering phone calls, faxes, mail, etc when times get tough .....so if history is in indication, he's still putting these liabilities and persons off.
Something else to chew on. Come the end of Feb. 06 which is just a few months from now, AMDS will "own" their merchants (provided AMDS has fullfilled contractual obligations with First Data). What this means is that BERT can sell off his merchant base for a price. Though there are variances in the industry, getting $1500-$2500 per merchant in not unrealstic.
At the midpoint, 700 merchants would bring AMDS/Bert $1,400,000 !!
Can you guess who will KEEP this for himself ??
Not me, I'm just trying to keep my head above water...
Sorry to hear about the Alzheimer's with your Mom, my Dad took care of my Mom for over 6 years before she passed away.
This was one of the main reason why I purchased a couple of Long-term care Insurance policys for the wife and myself.
Good-luck with your mom!
One would agree, our upper management took a 40 percent cut in pay over the last three years, fired all of the production staff and now is trying to ramp-up, and keeping a tight control on the bottomline profit of their bonus checks.
My corporate life is spend training fresh green Engineers, and my future job replacement.
One needs to adapted to the changing market conditions to maintain one's employment.
I'm not sure if it's right for the country or our company, but I only care about the bottomline to my family, and the family trust accounts.
Going into this circus, I called the company bluff on the yearend bonus, and received an extra 10 percent on my gross salary. If I don't see the year-end 401K match, it's time for me to move on to another circus tent....
DQ,
I have a similar problem, I work at the corporate cave and I'm surrounded by Project Manager of Project Manager.
Everyone is and everything is closely watched.
DQ,
Sorry to here about your message board work lockout, it's becoming the norm around the workplace.
Times have changed within this new office work environment, I'm only able to get about 30 min. of day trading time per day.
We all need to be more careful and protect our primary income stream.
Sorry about the screen-name, I forgot I had an account from last-year work slow-down vacation time.
I will start post'n over here , and limit d'post'n on the Trainwreck.
Finally found the place. Thanks
The Scrollbar does not work.
Is this board still active?
Is their any news on CHCL future plans for business?
Thanks
