No FNMA

On AmeriTrade, FMMA is no longer held by institutions. What does that mean???

Best letter I got ... A notification that my first lien mortgage has been sold to Fannie Mae. It states 'Fannie Mae is a shareholder owned company with a public mission. We do not make mortgage loans but instead provide funds to lenders by purchasing the mortgage loans they make.'

Seems pretty black and white to me. It's always been their business model.

Are you privy to what and how FNMA has made policy changes and how they've implemented business and systems controls to mitigate risk? Don't make assumptions and base it on how you operate with your Wild West posts.

I don't know about you but there's a lot more life left to tax season. And yes, there are crooks everywhere.

My point was that it seems some of them are changing their tune. We can't just assume that the future votes will be played out the same way. There are a lot of moving parts with more players now that can be influential. We only know the manipulated news and the manipulated stock price!!

That is IF they win the Senate which will be close and nobody can say at this point- it's a toss up. How can you say it's bye-bye FHFA when the bill wasn't even fully supported? It's not automatic and there will be plenty of resistance politically and financially.
