Whatever happened to detearing??
Detearing , just read your post about coming to Vegas this weekend for a toast? Im Sworksmax and would luv to meet/join you. Let me know @ md02@cox.net - thanks!
Ya Detearing , why is me no longer on your list? First i am in, now i am out. What am i doing wrong? All im doing is holding long and strong.
DT.
Please put me on your list again. Somehow, I got erased.
Still holding long and strong.
Plus I live in Las Vegas.
Sincerely,
sworksmax
Ps: i dont have a paid for ihub account so you can't PM me. Is this a requirement?
Anyone else's screen show price rose to $3.10 from $3.02 the last few seconds of the day?
Is this what a large buy order does to the chart? Who has the capability to do this in the last seconds before the close? Hmmmmm...
Perhaps they will.... After they finish accumulating more shares at these bargain prices, that is.
SECRETLY???
I 've never seen anyone more obvious about it!!
Hi Detearing,
I am 124 on the list but should be spelled Sworksmax. Thanks!
Live Long and prosper!
Hi Detearing:
I am 125 on the list with 20,000 FMCC
Plus 10,000 i flip.
But my name is spelled sworksmax;)
Thank you!
All the best!
I love the carpet bomb photo/analogy! Stay in your foxholes soldiers- lol
Re: ($111) being negative number. I thought the same thing. Typical accounting practice to denote losses in either (), - , or red ink. But its a text from the internet where even spelling has new rules so who knows.
MH - spill it! What news did you get wind of? I cant find anything
Its like a boxing match
Maybe so- but I wonder if you had the right trading platform, broker, and chart tools you could do this.
I have Scottrade and i find them pitiful for trying to trade minute by minute on these fast spikes.
MH - how did you flip this this morn? I mean everything happened so fast! As it was dropping like a rock how did you know what price to buy it at? How did you know it wasnt going down further? And then it shot up to $2.45 in the same minute! I mean how do you execute and place 2 orders and decide exit/entry in under 2 minutes?
So MH,
What is your strategy for Monday? I assume you did not hold over the weekend and rarely hold overnite. Do you have any shares set aside for the "to the moon" possibility? What broker and platform do you use/like the best for swing/day trading?
What do you use for your buy/sell signals when deciding to get in and out?
Thanks and best of luck to you.
So MH , are you saying they bought 360,000 shares @ $2.20 to cover their short position from yesterdays high of say $2.70? If so they made .50/sh and sold 2 blocks so total profit of $360,000?
Why wouldnt they have covered during the mid day when prices were ranging around the $2.06 mark? They had a long time to trickle in the shares so as not to raise the price much. Why wait til the most expensive price to get out? Why not wait for Mondays dip for that matter?
Why can't we all get along? I mean we all share a common interest here right? Why not help each other out with trading strategies? Road cyclists are the same. They think they are better than mountain bikers, etc. Crossfit better than runners, blah, blah, blah. just ride your F-in bike and be happy!
We should all worry about the big boys- they are the true adversary to watch out for here and the MM's preying on the unsophisticated retailer trader- without us giving into our emotional trading they wouldn't be able to make a living. WE should be banding together with ideas to gain an edge instead of bickering amongst ourselves.
Surely you must have a target price to exit as i am sure everyone here does. What exit price do you consider waiting to arrive to be considered a "true long"?
I thought being long was defined by the fact you bought the stock as opposed to sold it short. Not by how long you can hang onto it or some magic price? Please explain?
So all those big buys at the very end of day at 1.93-1.94 were shorts covering or institutions buying? How can you ever tell the diff?
Dr Merlot- I understand where you are coming from- although it appeared your initial reply was an attack and defensive.
Unlike others here, i have no hidden agenda- not trying to pump or bash. I am looking to share trading ideas with fellow traders. After buying and holding for the past 20 yrs with limited success, I have been mixing it up a bit. Why not take some profit, keep a long position as the main( just in case it hits $100 overnite) and trade the inevitable dips on the way up?
Dr Merlot- sarcasm duly noted and I appreciate your support!
We are all hear to make money in the market I think? Many different ways to accomplish that end.
It seems to me that if you don't buy and hold until death do you part, you are ridiculed by some.
In a game of just winners and losers, I should not expect much more.
I sold half my shares at $1.70 today expecting another pullback as this stock has done in the past many times. I have been long since 2009 and was just tired of not taking a profit after watching so many chances go by. I have to say i am pretty satisfied. I know i cant have everything, but knowing i am still in (just in case of a gapper) and got to touch some $$ is pretty close.
I would think many of you with the resources have been playing this way all along. I have a margin account but Scottrade wont let me margin this stock because its not listed. What brokers let you margin an OTC?
Detearing:
Im long, lurking, and living in Las Vegas. Keep me in the loop when you come to party!
Mh - please share some flipper strategy. I cant PM you as i dont have a paid membership and posting my email gets me deleted.
