Gary should I just short-sell APS promos?
SureTrader always has shares to borrow, and they all end up the the pennies.
I can afford to invest $6000. That's 2400 shares by the $2.50 rule. Can make a decent amount of money if APS gets a stock up to $0.50.
Problem with non-promos is that there's no guarantee of them going up. Promos? You know they'll keep going up at least until the suspension or the dump.
Is it possible to sell 5,500 shares in the greys? Or does it have to be exactly 5,000?
Gary, I am thinking of quitting trading promos. What do you think?
I only wanted to try this after I saw GOFF, SWVI, and LOTE go way up.
Looks like they are now finally cracking down on the pumps and dumps, and we both got caught in the crossfire.
My loss was not too bad - I already earned it back 100% by working. I lost $400 on PWEI - how much did you lose?
And what do you think about quitting trading promos? I did have dreams of getting real rich on these promos and not having to work again. To me, XUII and PWEI were practice. I thought, once I got good enough, I would "invest" 10 grand in these and make tons of money... again and again.
What do you think? Think it's worth another shot?
Let's all boycott APS if they stop pumping this. Send them a clear message: pump this when it resumes trading or you lose a lot of your customers.
I'm the first to call the boycott. Who's with me?
OK staying positive. 13 hours of work and I earn back my $400 in losses. Could be much much worse.
But drunk as hell right now.
$400 down the drain. I seriously thought of putting down $10k on this. Not doing so made me $9.6k richer.
So what exactly do we do with PWEI once it's unsuspended? And should we play another pick? I'm thinking no.
Oh boy... glad I only had $400 in this (plus $80 gain as of yesterday's close). Thought of going all in on this.
Wait for a bounce, try to sell for at least 7 cents.
EMAILS OUT!!!
Hi Everyone,
PWEI had an amazing day closing 10% on strong volume. This shouldn't come as a surprise considering that the stock was trading close to $1.00 not so long ago. Bargain hunters and momentum investors are jumping on PWEI for the big move ahead. Members should strongly consider adding at these levels before the momentum gets out of hand and investors chase the stock to 50 cents plus.
Wall Street is just starting to take note of this pick...
Did you notice that institutional buyers are starting to bid on PWEI? We are seeing market makers and institutions bidding for large amount of shares in PacWest Equities Inc. The interesting thing is these institutions are the same that were bidding on our last pick before it moved from 13 cents to 75 cents.
Could PWEI soon see a similar run to 75 cents or more? We believe so. Here's why:
If you looked at the massive rally PWEI had a few months ago, you will understand why history could repeat itself (click HERE to see the chart).
Seeing how fast PWEI moved from around 10 cents to about 80 cents within days makes us feel that a similar bullish run is underway especially with all the large amount of accumulation that we are witnessing.
History tends to repeat itself and this previous gain of over 500% is about to happen again in our opinion.
PWEI already had a huge shareholder base considering that a large amount of shares were accumulated in the past. These shareholders are now buying again anticipating a similar if not bigger rally then the previous one.
Members that see the opportunity at hand know that buying PWEI at these prices could be a unique chance to profit tremendously from the rally ahead.
PacWest Equities Inc. already made 2 solid announcements, and we have a feeling that the Company is on a PR campaign to update its shareholders with more positive news. It is apparent that the market is bullish about the company and the stock is about to break through new highs as early as tomorrow.
Stay tune for more reports on PWEI, we will be profiling this amazing company for the coming weeks and we expect exciting development ahead for our members.
Happy Trading,
Your PennyStocks.com Editor
And here's the dip you've been waiting for.
Why not? Are you short?
300k bid on .0922
Gary, when do you plan on selling PWEI? End of this week? End of next week? What price range?
Almost everyone who got in on Day 1 is still in the green.
Emails out, they're pumping hard. Should see high teens end of week.
Quick dip but strong close EOD, for a 2.35% gain today. Should see more green next week.
The shake is over. The only ones who are down are those who bought in the 9's or sold on the dips.
You missed out :)
.085 now. Beautiful bounce.
They pumped it just fine with the same float last year. Remember FARE? Took a couple days for it to start running.
Do hedge funds play these promos? They go where there's money, and there's certainly money to be made on them.
EVERYBODY: Get some rest and stop worrying about this stock (at least until 9:30 tomorrow). You can't predict the outcome of this, nor can you control it.
Keep in mind that PWEI has traded in the 60's last November, and in the 10's-20's this April and May. We can easily see a bounce back up to those levels before, maybe even a new 52-week high. This is the first time APS is promoting a stock following a dump. Those who bought in the 8-9 cent range might be looking at ridiculous gains 2-3 weeks down the line.
APS promos are multi-week plays. They usually gap up Day 2.
Promos never gap down Day 2. No one cares about the company, yes it's a POS like every other APS play. It's a trade, not an investment.
What's your entry for this play, Gary? And when do you plan to sell? I'm thinking of selling mid-20's. Most APS promos run higher, but that would give decent profits from the 8-cent range.
IMO we're all in pretty good shape at this point. Most APS plays start in the 20-30 cent range, run up to 50-90 cents, and then tank to 3-5 cents after the promo. We were lucky enough to get shares at around 8-9 cents, well below the usual start of APS promos. Also, when this tanks, it will churn in the usual 3-5 cent range, just 50% lower than where most people bought it today. If you bought XUII or GOFF day 1 of the promo and held, you will be down 90% at this point.
8.5 cents is still VERY cheap. Whatever price you got in today, you will make money if you hold for 1-3 weeks.
Just look at where this stock was trading 6 months ago, 9 months ago: http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=PWEI+Interactive#symbol=pwei;range=1y;compare=;indicator=volume;charttype=area;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=off;source=undefined;
Loaded up 7.8's on the dip, let's see what tomorrow brings.
OK Gary any advice on PWEI?
I loaded up on the dip to $0.078, bought 5500 shares for about $400. I currently have a tiny gain of $20 (after commission). As you may remember, I got burned hard on XUII, and I want to make back at least some of my losses. What would be a good exit strategy? Hold for 2 weeks?
A pump-and-dump tanked. It is any surprise?
Why is the banner back up?
I thought the play was done. They pulled the banner, but now it's back up...
And doooowwwwwnnnn she goes.
Gary how can you play non-promos???
With promos, regardless of what the promo is, you know that, if you get in the minute the promotion starts, the stock WILL go up. With non-promos, it's a gamble.
This will never again be $0.32. If it get anywhere close to $0.32, then the flippers, shorts, and profit takers who bought in at $0.14 will take it back down. It's done.
AceHigh, how much money did you lose on XUII?
Thank you very much for telling us to sell at $0.35... mere moments before it completely tanked. There's a good chance I (and many others) would have been in the same situation as those who held are currently in if not for your advice.
"Destroyed lives"? Most traders are smart, know when to cut losses, and will NEVER play with money they can't afford to lose. Thus, for MOST traders, XUII is a couple-hundred-dollar mistake; and not a destroyed life.
