Well if that isn't a nail in the coffin I don't know what is. Jason, with little to no explanation suddenly resigns for "personal reasons". Very convenient.
My sense of the situation is they have tried the power supply on a couple of occasions now and found the design to be inadequate or not produce the results they expected in the lab.
My confidence isn't swayed but I can see why it might be for others who are skittish and/or have much larger holdings.
Just a put a massive nuclear turbine on the thing and call it good. :)
Just be prepared for another hit piece...a la Seeking Alpha, after the stock price started to soar several years ago. Don't be fooled this time around guys...
Or they already know the data...
Whoa...what's with the volume this early in the day?!
Over 200k volume in the first hour of trading....
Some heavy volume today!
Post of the year, AISI.
The proof is in the pudding. All the nonsense about this technology being a "Magic white pipe", the failed testing, etc is just flat out wrong.
This is a perfect and pointed summary of ACTUAL events that have occurred over the past year. Smart investors know the truth and are patiently waiting.
Doesn't go into much detail, but good to see some coverage at least.
Nice to see shareholders being communicated with. Refreshing to see a more open approach the recent meeting information put out.
I agree. Good initial strategy. But as others in the past have failed to do, I hope he follows through on his word. We've seen similar language before.
Where is Robert Khami these days?
While I am long and still a believer in the tech, an ongoing concern I've had is the fact that QSEP makes these staffing and/or partnership announcements and then it's rare to hear much about it after the fact.
In this case, Khami may or may not be involved. I wouldn't know for sure having skimmed through the last few SEC and PR docs there is no reference to him or his efforts.
Anybody know?
Just over 1 Year Ago - Bigger's Letter to Shareholders
While I am still long, when reflecting back over the past year and beyond, it's disappointing to see continued statements from our CEO that go unfulfilled with little to no explanation. This letter from just over a year ago epitomizes what we continue to experience year after year. I think this is an important thing to put out there as I would anticipate a potentially similar letter coming soon.
Bottom line - For investors to continue to have faith and in some cases, continue to invest in a company of this nature, we need tangible results and not just empty statements that give a false hope. Revenues is what will truly make an impact here and we're not talking minuscule proceeds from testing with this "COC".
While I'm still optimistic, skepticism grows as each day passes with very little information available. This is further evident by a waning share price that sees little to no significant fluctuation. Shareholders can no longer take positive statements through filings or other releases to the bank, unlike in year's past where Cecil was able to pull it off. Nobody is being fooled anymore.
2017 is just around the corner. Good luck everybody.
Such as the "caution to investors" content on the iBox?
Here's to a big month for STWA. I think for many this upcoming SHM is going to be the deal we've all been waiting for, or the dealbreaker.
I'll watch the paint dry on this Picasso a little while longer. I am sure many early investors in companies like Apple were saying the same thing as you are right now.
That is from yesterday or am I missing something?
Great insight Moorea...you're onto something there.
Really nice stuff and a great way to share the potential with other investors. Well done and thanks for putting it together!
This means there is large institutional and/or private investors who are likely looking to accumulate large quantities of shares.
Want an example? Look at MusclePharm Corp which MBAY was involved in over the past couple years.
Something is brewing...hold steady.
We have some big time MM's suddenly appearing on L2. This isn't just coincidence.
Good stuff Inspiration1
I particularly like the breakdown of the 75% reduction of power. If the AOT only did that alone it would be remarkable....but we all know it does even MORE than that. Truly a revolutionary product for an industry that desperately needs it.
The legitimacy and promise just continues to build for this company and their products.
Good call Pie...just gives me more confidence in my investment when some spends years refuting a company and their product on a regular basis.
10Q has to be out soon....
Zeroedin - I'll give a short and simplistic answer to a not so simple question.
When a company (regardless of the industry) has a product of such immense proportions that they are looking to buy or sell, there is plenty of testing, refining, etc that has to be done.
Has it taken a while? Sure. But as many have said here and based upon what we know, you just have to connect the dots and decide for yourself if the wait is worth it. We would all love our investments to fit within an ideal timeline for our personal needs but the reality is that almost never happens.
You have doubts and that's completely understandable, but patience is the true virtue in this situation.
AISI, clearly the calculations were hastily made and intended to try and further a negative agenda. It's pretty laughable the extent to which some are willing to go - in this case, just being flat out wrong (and hoping nobody picks up on it).
Shaping up to be a truly exciting Spring
Look for a 10Q this week...
Better cover those SHORT positions boys!
Do you have links to their accounts?
Great point Cpopp and one that is easily overlooked. Considering where we have come from and where we are going, I'm fully comfortable with my investment at this point in time.
Emphasis on year-end results (ie...10Q) which should be out very soon.
Anybody spoken with ATS Rheosystems?
Nice volume going into the end of the week.
The LARGEST PIPELINE OPERATOR IN THE WORLD...
And we have the CFO on our board. Do the naysayers STILL think this is scam? Honestly?!? LOL
"Mr. Bundros has served as Chief Financial Officer at Colonial Pipeline Company, the world's largest pipeline operator transporting 100 million gallons of refined petroleum products daily across 5,500 miles of pipeline."
Swan - excellent post. I like your mindset and way of thinking. Fully agree with you on many points.
ATS Rheosystems is owned by Cannon...just FYI. I don't believe Haliburton owns Cannon.
We're officially into 2015 and into the time when patience and perseverance will be rewarded. Congrats everybody and Happy New Year.
From a recent Newfield 8k...
Uinta Basin
Uinta Basin third quarter net production averaged 25,800 BOEPD. Recent well performance is above planning expectations and full-year growth expectations from the Uinta were increased to 15% (compared to 5% at the beginning of the year). Newfield expects its Uinta Basin production to be 9.4 MMBOE in 2014.
In the first half of 2014, Newfield released results from five SXL wells in the Central Basin, an area north of the large Greater Monument Butte Unit. Newfield is encouraged by early production results from its recent SXL wells in the Central Basin and expects to release an update on several wells with up to 90 days of production history in early 2015.
The Company has been working to improve drilling efficiencies and lower completed well costs in the Central Basin. In the third quarter, Newfield recorded a new “best-in-class” SXL well, which was drilled and completed for $10.8 million gross.
