Optionslearner,
Thanks for your thoughts. I've never been a technical trader, more of a fundamentalist and to me there's no good reason to go all in right now, but is a good time to accumulate some.
What's your reasons on short term bullish on silver? It sounds like we may go through deflation which would hurt silver
Is it just Ohio or is most of the country warming up next week? I see low 40s in my area that's rather warm for January, I haven't seen how the rest of the country looks.
Anyone watch DXJ?
Charles Schwab
Just added to EFOI boys! It now represents 15% of my portfolio and that is my max limit. My cost is 5.30. Let's see what happens.
I also encourage EVERYONE to go on EFOIs website and review this presentation they released on Dec 29, I had no idea they released it and they are calling for 100% growth for the next 5-7 years.
Best of luck to everyone in this!
Yep, what you just said I call decay. It can also be explained using the geometric equation for returns on investments. It's all the same. USLV is a good stock if you really know what your doing. Sadly, I would only say I'm an average investor in metals- so those stocks are scary to me.
Actually I strongly disagree. USLV is a leverage stock that over long term experiences decay from option turnover, and because of this USLV long term is going down. It will go low single digits, and then another reverse stock split. It's the nature of the stock.
USLV could easily outperform real silver in 2015.
But by 2025 Silver can be at $40 an ounce and USLV could be somewhere around $3 a share, assuming it never did a reverse split.
I prefer to own physical silver coins/bricks because I feel some pleasure in looking at it. Plus coins gain in collectable value, which can outperform silver in the long run.
Are you bullish on silver? I've bought a little but I'm waiting to load up
Production won't slow for awhile. I'm a long term bull, short term bear on NG.
UGAZ is a trade stock with a lot of decay and you shouldn't hold it for more then a month or two max. If your long term bull on Nat gas play UNG
Who is bullish on gold?
Yeah WTI would be around $40 if Brent is $45. And either way, in a year we should be looking at at least $65-70 oil, which is a 20%+ gain
I decided not to buy before the dividend yesterday, and that's part of why it's down today. I look to start under $45, just because there are some marginal issues here.
But when that happens oil will bounce quickly. You know how the markets are already. I'm looking to begin a position in BNO when Brent goes to $45bbl
Thank you. I'm going to read a little more about owning physical real estate for rent
Anyone in XLK?
Starting to looks really good for long term investors.
This looks good
Ex-dividend is tomorrow. I'm trying to decide if I should buy now or wait until tomorrow when VZ opens down 55c because of the dividend. I'm not sure if the AOL would be a good move, who even uses AOL anymore?? Besides their patented video technology it's nothing special
We could see $2 if NG goes to $2
What we really need is it to be this cold for the next month.
My guess is the market has already considered the cold blast were getting now, but shrugged it off. Raymond James cut 2015 NG to $3 from $3.65
WTI now in the 40s!! It's unsustainable but how low will it go?
I would like to see their debt-to-equity ratio under 2 to feel more comfortable adding to this. It doesn't look like oil is bouncing anytime soon too
It looks like $45 might happen
Overreaction early in premarket. It may be better to just buy when things settle in regular trading hours.
Citi 2015 EPS estimate of $5.41. This stock is cheap
Anyone still in this?
Nice to see CLNE raise 40.6million in cash today. It doesn't seem like they are missing much business selling this subsidy, because they can still market and sell the RNG
I really appreciate your help here. Can you explain to me the difference between a REIT and mREIT? Also any suggestions on a less risky real estate stock/fund? Looking to diversify my portfolio with a real estate fund
How do you access IBOX?
Also I see a history of lowered dividend payments, you think that continues? What makes this better then REM?- Ishares REIT fund.
What was the reasoning behind the cut in dividend?
Can someone fill me in on the recent news/dividend cut? I've had this on my radar and was triggered with the recent drop in pps. Thanks!
Historic prices show anything under $50 is a solid deal. I like the dividend, PE, and the overall company. If you review back I have been posting on the VZ board for a long time, just have never bought. If we get a beginning of the year sell off here I should be able to pick up some good shares. Imagine the stock price of this when they pay off that 110B!
I really think the panic selling is from all this chatter of increased production of drilling and there will be ample injections each week as the storage is being used up.
Let's stop at $45 first so I can pick up 100 shares haha. I love VZ and they will eventually take down their debt and become an empire.
It looks to be bottoming with resistance back to $5 every time. Could be a good time for you to get back in if you buy some around 4.80
