Don't wait for $45 ehh?
Ouch!
I think it would be better to just go long the stock. Calls you run the risk of copper and oil not recovering fast enough. I'm waiting for them to cut the dividend in half and it drop from that to buy. IMO the long term case for Freeport is very bright and I'm alright with sacrificing a dividend for them to pay off some debt. I too am looking for under $15
Where's the support level for spy?
I'm liking this again with the pullback. Seems like an ideal takeout by BABA
I suggest you buy back your shares soon! Good luck
Do you think T is better then VZ?
Did the rally end or are we just taking a quick breather?
Yeah I get that but the contracts they are in will gain value as oil goes up. There is very small amount of decay. I believe the 52 week high was around $46. If oil goes back to $110 like it was in June then BNO may only go to $40.
The futures are down right now by we will see
Does gopro have any patent or anything? What's stopping Apple from getting all the big deals and destroying gopro? Cool product but a 7B company makes no sense
Dividend Growth model for VZ stock suggests the market is demanding a 7.8% return on VZ stock. Essentially according to this model VZs current present value of future dividends suggests you will get a 7.8% return on VZ long term. I like it at $45 demanding a higher return.
The best thing going right now is the fact there is very little supply and the big players can't sell for 6 months
UGAZ has extreme decay compare to USLV for some reason.
Hey John good to see you on this board. Are you looking for a quick trade or an investment? If your long term bullish on Nat Gas at this price then consider UNG. If your just looking for the bounce (like your USLV pick) then UGAZ might be for you. I've watched this stock and board for awhile and this year Nat gas isn't really trading like most years.
IMO as soon as Wall Street decides there's a concern on production because the rigs are being shut down NG will be moving back $3.50+. But right now for some reason everyone on Wall Street thinks the production is going to continue to increase-even at these lower prices.
So if SLV breaks $18.46 then it would be considered a breakout stock technically? I suppose this Monday will be a big tell to see if it can close above it. Thanks for posting it.
I actually do. It's relatively easy to be in the storage space and whoever has the most money can keep the price to store low. Do you use BOX service? $15 a month per person? And they lost something like $48 million last quarter. Idk I just think the original IPO price is reasonable valuation but the market shouldn't price in 3-4 years of growth into the stock TODAY.
Reminds me of the .com bubble. Now it's just the cloud bubble. Nice if you got gains today and I hope we see another pop for the short sale because this won't be profitable for awhile
Let's see $30 per share so we can short this easily to $15. This stock, although different companies, is financially just like Coupons.com IPO. It soared early, and then a few quarters of losses and it's back at the IPO price.
Can you post the chart?
You think this is still a buy?
I just can't believe now that everything is going good the price is at 2 year lows. Lower then it was when EFOI was having 2.5M in sales a quarter. The company desperately needs a PR
FY 15 forecasted $3.68. We're trading at about 13X forward, and last year we were at about 11X. Roughly speaking, if we get back to 11X forward this is a $40.59 stock.
Can you explain the whole GAAP loss vs non GAAP gain? I understand the whole accounting principles But I didn't expect a loss of .54c. I wanted to wait and review the quarter before buying, but the initial results are a little confusing.
Gas is also a lot easier to cap by drillers. So if the price goes too low they will stop selling until it rises.
Where are we headed? $2.80?
I know but instead of being upset just forget the unrealized loss and buy more for the long haul. Because I bet when this was at $18 you were hoping to buy more when you did at $14. Now you get a second chance
Crazy how impatient investors are. These banks have great futures and should be one of the only sectors to do well when interest rates rise. Look at it in the long term everything looks good.
I own a lot of C but I think the best idea is to buy XLF to be diversified and avoid single bank litigation risks.
Good luck all LONGS
It's a big name that they won but the overall contract is not huge. It does get them in the door to a different area however. And I agree, even if the order isn't like the 5.9M from the navy it would probably bring something back. If you look at the year chart every time EFOI has slowly trickled down a big pop has happened.
In what direction?
I have no problem in you or protecting capital. In fact I have so many gains that I'm comfortable buying more. This next earnings will make the break even quarter (I predict loss or gain under 75,000). The following quarter Q1 will be the first EPS positive I believe based on current orders only. Any more is just bonus. The stock has gone from $5 to $4.20 on 100,000 shares only so it's more speculating and no big investors around.
Wow this is now down 50% from its 52 week high.
Just wait until the next earnings report. My guess is the forecast 10M+ for the 1st quarter. If the industry is set to grow 100% every year, EFOIs sales team should be in good position.
Remember they will only need the S-3 if they need cash, and right now they will only need cash if they have some serious orders to fill.
Global growth was lowered today which will probably hurt silver today.
If that happens we will surely get a short squeeze
Thanks for your input but it seems a little late to be shorting energy
How much did CLNE lose In the 3rd quarter? I wonder if the 28M credit will lift us to break even this quarter
What's your view on platinum instead of silver?
Fun man- I understand the market will grow and EFOI will take its piece. I'm not expect EFOI to double in sales every year for the next 5 years.
Bighalloweenfan- regarding Premier46 comments on the yahoo board. He is my friend and I can assure you he is correct.
