Anyone buying on this dip?
I appreciate the personal messages Funman, and considering we're posting on the ROX page I'll stick to this.
I live in the Akron/Cleveland area in Ohio, I'll have to stop in some of the liquor stores and see if I can find some of there brands. I'll gladly try them out!
I've got to be honest, your getting me pretty excited about this one. I need to read more on it.. I wish there was a few more analysts covering this. I'm still looking at that $1.20 level, maybe to just nibble with a thousand shares of so. I'll be watching this for now like you watch efoi. good luck to everyone in ROX
Just to be sure, I looked at the balance sheet and saw the stock holders equity was valued at 16B.. Meaning the sum of the parts for CHK is around 16B, over twice the market cap. If my source is correct what a value these shares have.
I entered a position today 4.95. As an advisor I read a very good article by Credit Suisse showing its undervalued and the buyback will be better to buy more shares at cheap prices. Price target $8.
This is about to make a 52 week high soon. 10.70 this week hopefully
This is absolutely a great company that is moving in the right direction towards profitability and less cyclical. $10 will be sweet
Let's just go go $10 already so the longs can back it up at 10X forward
Efoi had the bounce back day I was expecting. Tomorrows price action should be interesting!
That is huge news. I didn't think we would go globally so fast but it looks like international ships will be the growth once the U.S. Navy lights are all installed.
Analysis on Groupon stock:
1.) currently has 383M authorized to buy back stock, based on the current price that will take about 9% of O/S And reduce it to about 600M total shares.
2.) Groupon expects adjusted EBITDA to exceed 350M this year, which means they should earn an cash flow of about 300M and a non Gaap earnings around 20C. (Consensus is .17c)
3.) considering the 3.2B in sales, Groupon is trading at about 1X sales and has a forward PE of under 30. growing at 30% per share gets a PEG of under 1.
Conclusion: Groupon is facing FX risk and some competition but represents a good value at $5, with an expectation for the stock to grow at 20-30% annually for several years. They have 1B in cash, a remaining 41% interest in ticket monster valued at 320M, and a market cap of 3.5 billion, meaning the market values Groupon at about 2.2B company less cash.
I'm trying to get past the continuous losses in earnings and the fact management believes they will continue to lose money for the foreseeable future. Usually that results in dead money until the tide finally turns
Funman,
I got your personal message and I am looking at ROX. It looks like a decent value, but what makes this a conviction buy?
Please inform me with as much as you can! Much appreciated my friend
I sold 1/3 of my shares this week for a $3.50 per share gain. It's been a crazy move and I think investors would be foolish to not take some off the table now.
I hope your other penny poppers are working out for you.
It's a move in the right direction that should provide sales in areas other then the Navy. It'll be interesting to see the quantity of lights this partnership will be providing
It's a you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours type deal.
It won't have margins like the Navy but it's a good partnership
Big exclusive deal with the Green Schools Foundation.
EFOI will be the exclusive provider for all of their schools. Sounds like a needle moving deal
Absolutely spectacular moment that I've never seen in over 2 years with this stock. This time it's not the typical jump and dump scheme. I'm not sure where tomorrow goes but a $8.50 close isn't out of the picture.
Upgraded today with an $11 PT
If it doesn't bounce here the chart looks really bad with no support until $3s
Man is this some good price action. Looks like the 4.50 secondary sellers are finally clearing out. The chart looks like this is a no brainier to $8.
Nice drop down of 3 vessels today. Continued growth. Offering 7.5M shares which is dilutive but net positive
$5 is a good start. They have about 1.50per share in cash and they have a predicted positive cash flow of 350M this year. Plus a great buyout
No momentum or catalysts. Opportunities to buy coming
What's keeping this thing down? Should be well in the 300s by now
It's a free fall
It just has no momentum at all. I think the value is there I'm just waiting for some upward encouragement
I would be all over this at $20 but I think I'll start a position around $23.50 if it goes there. Too much value to pass up, and theoretically a cheap stock can buyback more shares cheaper for long term value.
There was an analyst gave it a $20 PT yesterday that could be why
It's really surprising, there's not a lot of true growth that's being projected right now, and usually stocks with flat or declining profit trade from 8-11X earnings. Still the buyback and they will establish a dividend soon should get it moving back up
I've been in and out of GRPN for awhile now and I have it on my watch list again with a more reasonable valuation now
So are you a trader on this or a long term investor? And is AAL your only airline
What do you know about their remaining buyback and any possible dividends? If a company is this cheap they should take Advantage
Was that the bottom being set in?
Can anyone really explain why American trades at such a discount to the already cheap airlines? Is it the debt or just because it's hated? I like delta but it's hard to look past AAL
I'm liking the value here.
Yessir things are looking very bullish soon there will be no sellers left. They couldn't keep it down today!
I just don't see how a stock can be earning 1/4 it's market cap in a year? AAL looks super undervalued but is it possible a giant like delta can trade at 5X earnings too?
I'm considering going Long an airline today.
I'm torn between going with DAL, AAL or JETS. Any opinions?
Young investor looking for capital appreciation with medium risk.
Getting close to starting a position here.
NDLS issued a buyback. That shows confidence in the business
