Was the Tim Howard document new or an excerpt from his 2013 book? Do you have a link to a copy? I think someone posted a page only here and could not read the entire doc. Appreciate the input and thank you for all the work done in keeping us informed.
Godbless Bruce
Ok thanks...much appreciated.
From Fannie Mae ceo 2013 annual letter. Not sure when the have their 2014 letter but it does reference the same.
Fannie Mae's profits go back to taxpayers. We will have paid a total of $121.1 billion in dividends to Treasury as of March 2014, which is approximately $5 billion more than we have received in taxpayer support.
Have both always emphasized this?
Freddie Mac website says they paid $91b in dividends to tax payers exceeding loans....*including dec 2014 dividend....interesting turn. Have they or fnma ever opened their mouths about their condition publicly? First fnma ceo now it's written on their website.
Go to website, select about us then our commitment....you will see a tab under $91b....click and you will see their verbiage there.
Input?
Big pharma....ex..a Merck, Pfizer etc
I don't think he knew about it per his tweet...too funny
Punit looking into it per twitter
Merry Christmas to fellow board members!
Agreed....would be nice to take prior high a few weeks ago on strong volume...got to get out of this channel
Hmm....triple bottom
Ok now we need management to buy shares on the open market.
Ackman also verbally stated he increased his positions by about 20% after the court decision. Approx. 1.50-1.70 range urchases. They used proceeds from his ipo to do this. His position size is still 2.5% of the fund so an estimated 140-150m shares based on today's closing price. Roughly 330m position size. The shares are not in the reports as 9/30
Agreed....some 13f reporting sites show complete closed out positions even the preferred stock which he was heavier in...does not mean they sold...fine print says they stopped reporting it.
I believe he also sold those July shares to carl Icahn. If he did sell, that $9 m fnmas trade a few days ago could have been cash reserves allocated too.
Agree would have been nice mid year though.
Makes sense, would still prefer an open market buy. If possible of course
I an showing a 1.3m share addition to his holdings as of oct 1st, cnbc site. I am showing pierce with 578k shares. Punits uncle looks like addition too.
I am thinking it is benefits related cause i didnt see any form 4's or open market buys. Perhaps option execution to hold the shares.
Oct company share holdings. Did i miss their 10k filing on ownership earlier this month? Showing a 31% in shares for punit to 5.8m shares and the rest of mgmt team looks like they are reporting their holdings? Punit i creased by 1.38m shares
Great points....there are a lot of great companies drowning now...need overall market sentiment "risk on" to come back even for a short period...i say we start sooner than later...catalysts work but if sentiment is negative in general then duds occur. Still bullish and waiting for news but would love overall enviornment to be less iffy
Amarin reaffirms reduce it trial. Call tomorrow at 8am est

Whenever they are able to, I would like to see it. Thanks for the insight.
Thanks Zoriden, then i guess we wait.
There are preset plans that can be put into place that allow these types of purchases to occur and stay within the rules. Just saying it would have been nice to see some buys once the second dilution period ended. Again this is my opinion and thank you for your input on it. As an investor, I always like seeing management "who always have inside information" buy to support their stock.
It would be confidence inspiring for investors and institutions who do look at insider buying levels. There's a difference between receiving shares and literally buying. Dr. Kim from INO made his statement today. That's confidence
Absolutely....if they're not in any quiet period then they should be buying.....all of them...open market straight orders and in large amounts.
Ive been saying all along oncs mgmt needs to buy their own stock. Cash speaks louder than tweets imho
Cnbc website has a more detailed holding summary for some reason. You will sabby, Deerfield etc there under institutional holders.
He said they werent in a quiet period so they should do open market purchase as a show of confidence.
It would be nice to have management start buying their own stock heavily down in this area. Speaks louder than tweets
1 yr rsi is already 23.79, 60 min is 30
This is always a great read:
