Well...looking at the chart so far, not really. Seems pretty depictable...hopeful upswing followed by a steady decline. Downtrend.
Smart people are playing these shifts...meanwhile others are still stuck at .07+
Only hope I see for the latter is if we break previous resistance and form new support there...otherwise this slaughter will continue.
Well....you can always go to Amazon.com and buy the np1 since best buy doesn't have it...yet.
Yup. I plan on playing this pretty safely. Gonna set my stop loss order to protect profits. Im not gonna sit through another drought with this stock.
Soooo.
Still holding onto this from an entry point at $.284.
Good thing I bought less than $200 worth of shares. Pretty good learning experience without stressing over the loss.
Looks like new support forming.
Uptrend from here?
I'm not sure who you are replying to.
But if its me;
I am saying that Nanotech is not trying to create a piece of hardware to make it big (ger?) I believe their larger goal is to mass distribute their software development to the big players - Sony, LG, Samsung.
In order to do that they need some sort of evidence that their shit works. Hence, the NP-1.
Nuvola <- Household name most people will never even know what it means hopefully to be found in recognizable household names like Sony, LG, Samsung, ect.
NP-1 <- I believe is just a "prototype" to showcase what it can do.
Do some reading / searching. You will find it. I assume Nanotech is trying to get into the "behind the scenes" game. The NP-1 is just hardware to showcase their software. Just like CPUs, processors, fans, ect. are apart of a computer or whatever, the research discovered with developing teh NP-1 will be apart of those internal processes. I assume we will be seeing "4k video streaming capability based off of "nanotech" hvec blahblahblah" on lists of computer / TV specs - Dell, Toshiba, Sony, HP, ect.
The key here is WIDE DISTRIBUTION. They know creating a separate device and trying to take that market will be too hard with such big players. So they will be the ones supplying the technology to the big players.
http://www.akamai.com/html/about/press/releases/2014/press-040314-02.html
"Simplified, scalable content workflow and cost efficiency by leveraging media services in the cloud
Aspera-enabled content uploads into Akamai's cloud-based NetStorage
4K on-demand adaptive bitrate streaming using H.264/AVC prepared with Akamai's cloud-based transcoding in conjunction with the NanoTech Nuvola NP-1 streaming media player
Integrated, cloud-based content preparation, publication and adaptive bitrate delivery in a single step for global playback"
Hmm. The biggest problem I see here (i think) is the lack of interest of new buyers.
Why are people so concerned with the NP-1?
Have you guys been on the Nanotech store? I am sure there are more products than the NP-1...
Nah. Look at 1 year chart.
This honestly isn't as bad as it looks. Bounce off/near support somewhere around these levels.
Pretty sure it will come with a hefty Sony price.
But it is a lot more attractive than the NP-1; design and specs.
The middle class is known to be willing to pay premium for technology as well.
Except you don't have any proof anything you just said is true.
All of it is just "board talk." Not actual DD.
The "insider" is just some random trying to lower the pps for whatever reason.
I'm sure board posts on ihub doesn't affect the pps that much anyways.
If I wasn't a broke college kid with rich parents that doesn't give him any money but doesn't want him to work, I would more than likely buy more...a lot more...Too bad my parents are too old to be willing to take such a huge risk even with just $10,000.
Then again...Maybe avoiding risky stuff like this is why they have so much money. Lets hope I make smarter decisions in the future.
I thought NTEK wasn't only about the NP-1?
Partner Roku released this:
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/-81528576763.html
NTEK still a partner with Roku right? ...
NTEK still generates income regardless of a missing NP-1 right? ...
So why all the fuss of no NP-1 yet? It is coming...Hell, even if it doesn't NTEK still makes money.
Huge volume with immediate drops never look that "Wow" to me.
A sudden spike like that is dangerous....IMO.
Hope when that drop comes, more lookers will turn into buyers and we will go back up.
Lets gooooo! Will run up from here. IMO.
Long-term, this is looking like a healthy uptrend. Forget all the naysayers.
Then what is this?
https://www.nuvola4k.com/npc.php
Actually, there is a huge difference.
I would rather stream a movie, 4k, HD, SD, whatever, instead of downloading it and taking up space when I am sure I would only watch it once or twice.
The ability to stream a high definition (4k even better) movie quickly is very important to me, and I am sure it is very important to a lot of other people as well.
I feel too many people are playing this short-term. In which case, this would look really bad. But if you look at the longer charts, (in my opinion) is still looking strong.
I thought it was obvious this isn't a pump and dump?
Quite sure it would have been dumped into sub pennies a long time ago. Who runs a 1-2 year pump successfully?
Just sold a position I was up 200+% to buy more NTEK at .0828
That is exactly what I am saying.
There is long term potential here. But being that I have such a small position, it would be more effective to be holding short termed positions in faster moving stocks.
Still holding on however, because unlike those other fast moving stocks, I'm not afraid to lose all my money here.
I agree! I added more here too. I feel these are great support levels too. Should be bouncing higher off these lows soon in my opinion.
I need to learn to make my initial call. I knew I should sell around 1.5, after getting in at 1.2 because of the stalling. That would give plenty of time for my funds to clear and buy back on the next dip for more shares. Next time....next time...
Had this on my watchlist for breakouts since low 2's. Looking like an amazing run for you guys
Definitely how I will be playing it after seeing this. Buy dips, protect profits. Don't get too greedy. Will keep this in mind.
We fly tomorrow.
If the concert isn't all bs, and is somewhat of a success, I may reconsider the validity of XUII.
Looks like this is gonna br a slow sail back up.
The heavy volume coming in is most likely flippers that have had this on their radar for a while. They wait for the "big run" then on a drop they buy in heavily, then sell it at a second peak, possibly lower than previous high and it will come plummeting even further.
Just one possibility that I don't hope is the case.
The second would be heavy buying that would run this up close to $1 off of strong momentum for the next few days.
Either way, really risky here, of course, it has been since the beginning. I'm not telling anybody to buy or sell, just protect profits. Good luck to everyone that has made it this far.
Going higher now.
Lets see if it holds above .6...if it falls below...could be bad.
Watch out for a false bounce. This has been an amazing play. Hope it breaks out past previous high.
Lets see it hold above .6
This goes up another 20+ tomorrow.
Congrats to all still holding.
I got scared out when it dropped 10%. Stupid I know. But this is looking amazing for you guys.
I am a pretty new trader, but I am learning. My recent watchlist after I moved on from this play is all up green!!! Each play helps me learn, not just about reading charts but how to control myself. What to look for. What to do. What not to do. It strengthens my tolerance.
Hope to see $1+ for you guys.
I was in NTEK in the point .001 range. Got out on an 800% gain.
Been watching it recently. Knew there would be a pretty huge drop. Now I'm back in ready to ride it back up to .10+
Kicking myself hard...I knew it.
Well I am out from my long .39 position. Lost a bit....thanks to all the negative comments. Couldn't take it anymore.
But I learn. My will power strengthens with every trade and I learn to take action on my own basis.
Just wish there was more legitimate support from posters and not just one sided bashers hoping people lose money.
