What do you mean?
Agreed!
Ps. Your title...my dream job since 3 years old
Someone just lost their breakfast.... What the heck was that? Wish I would have thrown some cash down real quick on that! haha
I do not see this happening. This is why the pool of shares was voted on to be increased in the last shareholders meeting. They can hold another offering to dilute the share count preventing any hostile takeover.
Anyone know if it can handle XBMC and Navi-X?
This will tell you all of the reasons why the stock is increasing. Just read the data.

Large reason is they are now being noticed when in the past, not so much.
Tell those boys of yours in the marines that they are appreciated. Greatly
Even if they do not cure different types of cancers, as long as their treatment provides greater results and a higher rate of survivability, they are in a golden position.
Something has to be up. This volume and price action is very odd. I sure don't mind it though :)
First, I guess I have to agree with you on this one. While the overall "feel" toward the stock may influence future movement based on opinion, who is accumulating is what will control the price. Have seen some very large blocks go through recently. Does anyone know when/if the major holders list is updated? I'd like to see if any institutions have taken large stake.
Second, I want to go on record by saying that I hope I have not offended anyone with any of my posts. I will be the first to admit that the market can get under your skin, even if very thick. I agree that the board is to share ALL opinions associated with this company, good AND bad. It is hard to keep an open mind toward the position opposite that you are but this is what puts everything on the table to further remove doubts. I say hats off to everyone on this board because even though there are opposing views, it has remained extremely civil and educational. Cheers
Agreed. Not sure how anyone can take credit for a stocks price action and claim to be the reason people make money from it. Sad part is half the people on this board have probably been in longer than said poster. This is why I don't like people over hyping a stock in its infancy. Word of mouth can very easily hurt companies at this stage.
The thing with Vascepa is that the pharma world isn't buying in to it as much or treating it as a traditional drug since it is just highly refined, patented omegas essentially. I was a holder of Amarin until recently. Had to cut losses. It is hard to compare Amarin to Inovio because the drugs are not in the same class. One is a natural compound that got FDA clearance for specific use while the other are actual synthetic drugs.
They very well may be but the earnings report will give more insight. Also, if they did hold an offering it would be well before they ran out of cash to get financials in line. Usually a quarter or two prior to expected out of mula date
I am very eager to see the upcoming earnings report. I'd like to try to figure out and compared to recent offerings for when the next possible one could be in the event they need to raise cash for internal trials. For most people that is a nightmare, For me it would be a dream come true to completely load the boat to the point of overflow :)
Except that they have been touting false claims on many stocks for a long time now. Many of the rumors never come to fruition. I have watched stocks that they were digging in to and none of the "news" they had was true. I have seen times where they were correct so don't buy too much in to it.
StockSavant - I was just curious if you had L2. I use T&S as well but wish I had L2. But then again, not very useful if I am not actively trading I guess. I just like seeing the buy/sell blocks. You can tell a lot about who is buying/selling and how it is being done.
*On a side not. I bet Marx/Austin sure wishes they didn't dump their shares for less than half the price we are at now. Glad they kept it low for me to get in though. CHEERS
What membership level do you have or are you using your trading platform? I can't decide if I should get an Ihub membership or not. Kind of pricey
I sure wish I would have set a "finder's fee" for all the friends and contacts that I turned on to INO in the mid dollar range. Just thought I'd share that. Ha!
Because biotechs like INO are EXTREMELY rare. Most biotechs have 1 major drug they develop and slowly climb through each phase of trials. People play the run ups. Biotechs are not considered investments, they are usually held for a short time to play the run up into trials and then sold because the price will drift back down. In my opinion, INO is the exception to that because of the pipeline they have. Many people can double their money on a consistent basis buy playing biotechs right. If one is not expecting trial results for a while, they will play other promising ones that are and then move back to the original. If INO was not expecting news for over half a year, why not take some extra cash and make profits and then put that into INO before news is expected to be ready for the next leg up. Make your money work for you.
Where is the IR director of INO located? I have tracked the times of every press release and they are always around the 3-4am CST. It seems as though they have a preferred time that they try to stick to when making any type of statement. I like that a lot.
Start with A and end with E? Awesome?
Your last point hit the nail right on the head. A major influencer of investing strategy has to do with what point you're at in life. Someone younger can risk a little more because they have the time to recover. Someone retired on the other hand has to be much more careful with their remaining funds. It's all preference. People take it too personal
No offense man but myself As well as half of the other posters on this board did just that. I've seen well over half of the people on this board for a long time now and know for a fact that we are all in with a base of probably .70 or less. And that's being very conservative.
Agreed. I've turned so many friends on to INO. Now if only I could see some type of finders fee! Ha. I'm holding a few shares fir my dog too. He asked for steak night by the end of the year!
And even if it tanks Monday, which I would love the opportunity to buy more, ill still be in the green. Very green actually
Would I like to know something? I suppose so, if it is beneficial. Just so you know, not trying to come of in a rude manner but would appreciate concrete proof if you have it.
So you are able to see the companies private documents? Hmmm unless you work for them or are the underwriter for an deal in the making, how is that possible? And if you own any stock in the company, well, we know what they all that type of information.
Exactly. Sierra has a reputation for making bold claims that never come to fruition.
Preach on brother man! Couldn't agree more. Longs have views, shorts have views. The combination of both is what allows us to make the most educated investing decisions. I will be the first to admit that I can become very naive and start to view things one sided. The EDUCATED remarks from opposing viewpoints allows me to take one step back and research more to further educate myself. There have been times when I was long and have overlooked things that would have hurt my wallet big time if it weren't for someone who was short pointing out certain data. Lets all share ideas in a civil manner and quit with the "go away" remarks. That said, I am Lon because I have researched both sides and the upside outweighs the down. That is MY opinion am mine alone. No one has to agree but that is why we share what we think and why. That's the problem here. It's remarks without explanation. I want shorts to share their opinion but please educate me as to why and I will gladly listen. I may not act upon it but if it is valid then I sure will be glad someone informed me instead of withholding. Happy trading all. Let us ALL be successful no matter out strategy. So long as its ethical.
Not sure where you re getting your info but unless you can provide concrete link, articles, etc there is no need for the "predictions". What happens to the 6pm article last night? NOBODY knows when any type of PR will be released unless its a predetermined announcement.
I think it is just that, a rumor. I do not believe INO would sell the company this early in the game. If they are confident in their pipeline they know that their company will be worth at least double what anyone would offer them at this point. I could see news of a partnership with large pharma coming out but a buyout, not likely. They could however maybe sell the rights to one of their developing drugs. I just don't see them selling the company when so many of their trials are fully funded by other large organizations already.
Haha. I guess you have a point there.
I hate that you can't reply to messages unless you have a paid membership. Who has the paid membership here and is it worth it?
I see what you are saying. We should all be on here to share ideas how to trade the best to make the most profit together. All of the drama can be saved for other boards as far as I'm concerned. The one point that I see differently than you is that they are forward looking statements. They released results from trials that just finished. That isn't forward looking BUT can be used as a forward-looking statement for investing purposes and it should be. If trial after trial is proving that something is working, chances are it will work next time around as well. I am not sure how other people invest but I look at results when it comes to biotech companies because that is the only thing that matters. If their science is proving to be valid then I find it worthy to invest in for the future. That decision is based on these type of PR's. I want to know results and plans.
I DO agree with you that there will be a chance to enter in lower once they excitement settles some. Hard thing with this company is the timing. They are at a point where there is many good things about to take place so it becomes riskier. I suggest finding a decent entry and going long. Then take some extra to play the swings if you want but keep a nice chunk long the entire time.
No hostilities my friend. I wish is ALL on this board the best health and prosperity. This board had impressed me with the class it has upheld in the past. Let us all keep it that way and help each other, even when we disagree!
Please do not take this as a stab.... I do not understand what you mean by a pump? If someone can point out valid facts against how I view a current situation I will by all means listen. INO has not pumped anything. Investor relations is required to report any developments that can affect the price of the stock. As an investor, if they did not update me with trial results, financials, business developments, etc. I would not stay invested in the company. Investors would leave the company and they would loose all sources of funding. All they have done is report trial results and developments with their drug pipeline. How is that a pump?
I see how it can be viewed as such because these type of results will attract many investors, sending the pps higher. It is then a given that many people will sell so that they can make money. Those people are called traders. This is nothing new and is part of every single stock. Not everyone will buy to hold for years. In fact, very few people are true longs. This however, by no means justifies the claim of a "pump and dump". It's just typical everyday biotech price action.
A pump and dump would be saying that they will be releasing world changing news soon. And then by "world changing" meaning one persons world... Or by soon meaning 10 years from now.
Loud and clear! It's been a long day, I am ready to go home! The brain had called it quits already.
I'm kicking myself for not loading more when I had the chance in the 50's and 60's. Didn't want to dip in to my account to much. Still sitting at a .60 average but hate that I have to average UP and not down! ha
OK, I may need some coffee because this is probably a dumb question but what in the world do you mean pull my shoulders ou? haha
Speaking of, when is the ER expected to come out? Also, in your opinion, what do you think is possible as far as a dip backwards until the next leg up when trials and business developments near?
What do you mean it will propel the open sky high?
This is what I have know was coming and was warning against for so long now. I agree with you completely. I would rather the price stay lower and slowly climb while staying out of the MM spotlight. Eventually we will have to deal with it but I would rather that be later than sooner. As far as i'm concerned, the longs that have been here are the only ones I will pay attention to. Remember the good ol' Stock Twits days? haha
Wouldn't it be better to hold long from a low entry point then to sell and then buy back at a higher point than the original buy? I understand it is good to lock in profits but if it will never reach the point at which one initially bought, wouldn't it be better to hold long instead of flip for smaller profit? I understand it is different for each person based on their entry point. Just curious how some people on this board are playing it who have been in since the .50's range. (Stock savant, money, etc... I know we have all been in around the same price average and was wondering how you all are playing this out?)
I agree with you. When people scream pull back they are often short but there are times when a pullback is common sense. In fact it is needed for overall strength and health of a stock. I'm not sure of it will get all the way down to the 80-90's range though. It seems that a new level has been set even with the gap up due to the validity of the science. For my future sake, I hope it pulls back so I can load the boat even more! Volume is key to the trend of this stock. There are patterns with the volume and sell blocks as you mentioned. After this corrects some from low volume I see it making a steady climb to EOY. Happy trading
