I was never able to speak with Ben for long. We played phone tag a bit and never really got into anything deep. Honestly, we are focused solely on residential and GDGI was more focused on commercial. I'm still holding on to my 6MM shares hoping for a GDGI run at some point.
And yes... The Mister is now Mistbox. We added a solar panel to negate need for replacing batteries, wifi module for monitoring/tracking power consumption, and an app to track savings and control the unit remotely if need be. We're hoping big things are on the way.
Really though? no rewards? Here's what it looks like when you try. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2098161395/the-mister-save-30-on-your-a-c-bill
I sunk $38K in at 58... hear me bitching? If you aren't big time enough to gamble with $40K ... then you shouldn't be investing $40K in a penny stock... even one with as much potential as this one.
Still here. I make it in to check on things every week or so.
I'm in it for the long haul. Sinking or swimming with my 6.6M.
Nice close last week boys!! Great to see! My shares are locked up for the long haul!
Well said Gnosis.
2 years of R&D was most of the capital needed. Now just pumping advertising. Keeping up with demand may be issue as it's a very complex design. The Mister costs more to make than the CoolNSave residential unit retails for.
I do think if somehow they fixed some of the problems with with CoolNSave it could be a good low dollar alternative. Don't see it happening though. Manufacturing is expensive as shit.
I have no opinion on buy out or no... my investment was because the technology is great, and the concept is about to get a whole lot of pub. I won't sell until 10c min.
The first months ad spend is well over 100K. That was the intended meaning.
Yes, paddle is patented. As The Mister is patented for unit being activated by acoustics, mag. field, and temperature. The commercial side is GDGI's bread and butter anyway.
Not that I know of... and yes.
Here's the commercial.

Even if GDGI isn't prepared to capitalize, you'd think a buyout would be much more likely if the technology is household info. The commercial applications are endless.
Ladies and Gents,
While the expectations have grown to an unreasonable level, and some of you may be underwhelmed by this "news," I believe this to be perhaps the biggest positive development for GDGI in some time... maybe ever!
We all know that the technology, more appropriately the scientific principles, Cool n Save employs are very powerful. Energy is a precious resource and water is plentiful (relatively). What has been the greatest obstacle in the way of GDGI's growth. I submit it is the awareness of the potential AC evaporative pre-cooling offers. Obviously, there are other concerns in the industry... product durability and scale seem to be the big two.
However, if the business owners, property managers, and landlords who own/operate these large commercial buildings KNEW how much they COULD be saving..... they'd be clamoring for a company who could offer a viable solution.
GDGI has two sectors of business.
1) The residential Cool n Save unit. Though we all like to talk about homeowners that have great stories about savings with this little contraption, at the end of the day, it wasn't designed to last. The reviews on Amazon are filled with customers who saw the potential, but the product didn't deliver due to clogged nozzles, stuck flapper valves, cheap filters, etc. While it is commendable that over 16000 residential units have been sold, there is no bright future in this area.
2) The commercial side of the business, however, has far reaching potential. While there have obviously been setbacks, GDGI has a virtual who's who when it comes to evaporative cooling, misting technology. What GDGI needs is for customers to come to them. Presumably, they are positioned to be able to do the installation if they could land the contracts. It is true, in the commercial space, it is harder for companies to separate themselves from competitors. This is due to the lack of proprietary technology... I/E anyone could do it theoretically. However, there is not a company with more experience in this field. GDGI has had more exposure, and I don't believe any other company like it is publicly traded.
With all this said. GDGI definitely needs a boost.
This is where my "news" comes in. Tomorrow, another company is launching a product that will create awareness of this technology. It's called "The Mister." The company is going for it right out of the gate by marketing on FNC nationally from day 1. The product should be a huge success in the residential market, while putting evaporative pre-cooling on the map like never before. Sure, the residential Cool N Save unit will now be completely outclassed, but that doesn't matter. Currently, it isn't even possible to purchase a Cool N Save unit at www.coolnsave.com... so obviously this won't have a negative impact on non-existing sales.
WHAT WILL MATTER THOUGH... is that assuming this product is a huge success, (and it will be) GDGI will reap the benefits.
While it won't be overnight, if GDGI stands ready, they are positioned to be a leader in an industry that is JUST NOW being defined. NO COMPANY with this technology has EVER advertised to speak of.
That ends now. This company is very well funded and could be a household name by the end of next year. GDGI's management better be geared up to capitalize...
Here's the companies website. www.themister.com
I bought 36K of GDGI because I feel the upside is significant.
MRTX
Steve,
You'll have to watch Fox News Channel monday morning between 9-9:30 eastern.
Since I said before end of June, I'll post tomorrow night for everyone spelling out the development.
I'm a man of my word.
I still believe this could be game changer for GDGI.
MRTX
another source... you will understand why I believe awareness of GDGI's products and technologies will spike soon. GDGI will be able to capitalize on the increased demand in my opinion.
Remember what I told you about the residential unit. Focus on commercial application.
Honestly, I'm a novice when it comes to stocks. I've been successful in business by seeing the angles, and I feel the same is important in the stock market. I stated that I "wasn't affiliated with GDGI" so I wouldn't mislead anyone by making them think I had inside information about GDGI that only informed people at GDGI would know. Simply put, I have knowledge of something coming that I believe will positively impact the growth of GDGI. I did not say that the stock would move big in June, I said that you would understand why I invested... I believe great things will come to those who are patient. The good thing is, you all will know what I know soon. Since the stock is a penny stock, any major development gives GDGI potential for exponential growth. Agreed?
June will not pass without everyone understanding why I bought 6M shares. Everything is still in motion. What I knew back then... I still know now. In my opinion, a game changer is coming.
What up kids! Dropped by to say hey. Keep the faith!
Hang tight. If anyone wants to dump I'll pick up whatever I can.
Average down baby. Late May!!
Thanks for reposting steve. I like his take... and agree.
awareness of scientific principles behind GDGI products will increase...
I'm the 6.6M buyer. If everyone will hang tight until May-June, there will be a development. I'm not associated with GDGI.
You guys do know that the Cool n Save product is trash right? Idea is solid... but the device is horrible. The commercial unit has potential though.
