When is the first quarter report due? Would sure be nice if we at least break even, know better than to hope for a profit!!
Dan, you have made my point (I think). They AREN"T testing the secureview, they are testing the 150. Someone else sometime back was groussing about the fact that Seaview didn't install the secureview in Walmart. I was tring to make a point as to the reason for that.
Actually Bizz, the secureview ISN"T the best for parking lots. A "lot" camera needs to be seen. It is primarily a deterrent device. The secureview is a stealth device to catch dirtbags after the act. You want to deter a crime before it happens, not try to catch the purps afterward. Secureviews would also appear to be burned out bulbs at night. Would look like a maintance crew wasn't keeping the place in order.
I'm not going to make it either. Seems machinery problems always crop up at the most in-opertune times. PLEASE post the high lites!!
Thanks in advance.
Well Seahag, take comfort in the fact you are not the only idiot!!!
Well Paulmk, it can only go on if someone sells at their bid, I think. I don't see how they can sell stock for less than they have to pay. Have a feeling that folks don't trust the PR's that the company issues. That will change when people see products in stores.
Don't want to sound like a basher, I doubled my holdings yesterday, just before the price dropped a penny of course!
Come on Ken, so someone got a defective unit. Was it damaged in shipment? Did the owner damage a contact while installing it? I do my best to insure that the parts I make are top quality, I have about a .01% failure rate. At that, any one customer could report a bad part. That doesn't mean I have a 50% failure rate!!!!
Yea Print, I believe this stuff. Us "longs" complain about a BATTERY POWERED unit. Having a back up battery so the thing will work even if some dirtbag cuts the house power line is a great idea!! Middle of June? Maybe you have a point here, that seems a bit soon to get it up and running. No real problem if it takes longer, no one else has anything to compete with the original design, let alone an updated one.
This stock looks better every day!
In order to be delisted a stock first has to listed!
Good post F+G!! My broker issues a certificate for the stock held. It takes them several weeks to do so. When I wish to sell, this paperwork has to be signed and mailed back to the broker of choice, again taking several weeks to process. I sure would like to stick it to a shorter, but this is a hassel to do.
I'm not at all surprised. That Q10 WASN"T bad. We are all upset (justtifiably) at being fibbed to, but the company is on track for the real world of business!
Yea Cabos, I guess that's what I meant. Honestly, I think Rich did an exceptional job of management, with the glaring exception of his big mouth, exaggerated PR's and sec filings!!!
The more I think on it, this still looks like a good investment.
Wait a second now, I've never started a business that got out of the red in less than two years. The fact that Seaview is breaking even shows exceptional management. They were concentrating on new production lines instead of selling existing products. Not the best management, to be sure, but understandable.
If Rich had posted losses in the past two reports, I doubt that the stock price would have dropped a tenth as much as it has.
Even the IRS doesn't expect a new business to show a profit for THREE years!!!
I disagree Print!! For a start-up company, that's a good report. At least it would be if the previous filings had been honest. Maybe our new CEO is going to earn his keep. Think I'll up my holdings in the morning.
I feel a bit confused! Seems we broke even for the year. That is not bad with new products coming on line. It is, however, a LOT less than we were told we were making.
Comments???
Patience everyone. Even Metron Tech, a VERY strong company with rising margins every quarter is down 1/8 today, and 40% for the year to date. Seems tech stocks are out of favor regardless how much money they make. We'll see this reverse, question is how long will it take?
Crookk, The existance of this stock was posted on the SEVU web site about 8 months ago. At that time I thought the dole would end in April, don't remember where I saw it end in Feb. Most of the intended sales you list have been consummated. There are only a few thousand shares proposed for sale in March.
If a senile old fool understands correctly, Seaview issued a batch of restricted stock as payment for services rendered sometime last year. The deal was that this stock could not be dumped immediately so as not to drop the stock price. The end of this dole out is this month (I think). Don't be too alarmed about the listed sales. This is not necessarily insiders bailing out, but only people getting paid for work they have done in the past.
