Musk never was locked into this deal, I believe there is a billion dollar payment due the other party if you bail but if Musk learns the value of the platform wasn’t accurate (ie real people using it), I’d bet he can get out without any fee. Twitter most likely misrepresented the % of bots….Musk is going to make damn sure he’s getting what they told him….if he even pulls the trigger.

I hope he does buy them because I sopped free speech. If he doesn’t buy them, I hope he exposes them for the fraud they are.

Well, a lot of people also benefited from Musk buying shares and making the offer. It goes both ways…. Twitter hasn’t been doing so hot.

None of this bodes well for Twitter but I do believe this is good for humanity. Free speech and honest public debate are essential for a strong democracy.

Agree, was posting on this weeks ago here. It’s been a complete fraud, advertisers duped and users fooled.

If I was a Twitter advertiser, I’d be suing the hell out of them. They could have stopped the bots, they chose to misrepresent their user base to charge more and manipulate the public narrative.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Dorsey shared where the skeletons were buried and Musk is using this process to expose the Twitter scam.

As the over leveraged shorts lose value in their long positions, they won’t have the capital to maintain the short positions. Could start to see a squeeze, seeing green here and other most heavily shorted tickers.
