Even if they are just a licensee for the software its still another source of income. Income that they can recieve with little to no capital investment.
Lol that would be about the only thing good hes done for gpsi
looks like gpsi made it in the same industy as the stock board we met on :) Sing dixie shop ez card and kiosk :P
if you look in the bttm left of the screen shot at 1.36 of the video you will see ez card and kiosk in small print a lil blury
You are right if you stop the video on 1:36 on the shot of the kiosk a real blury fine print you can see Ez card and kiosk at the bottom of the screen on the left. Now thats a good damn PR wheres kurt w that.
oh wow i didnt know it was that much. sooo if we say the avg was 50$ then 150k+
now if we could just get some financials to put that kinda stuff in black and white for everyone to see. We might even get some volume and a PPS increase after all.
19761*$3 is $59,283 over 9 months not too bad of a take and im sure the fees are much higher then $3 per transaction, even with the 50c given to the facility.
Hey, even a blind man can shoot a bird lol
that just says they cost the kiosk over 5 years for accounting purposes. After that they wont have to depreciate them anymore. ATMs seem to last a long time so i would expect the kiosk to last well beyond the 5 years.
Nothing that i can tell. Look at the Ask going down and growing in offering. They are only preforming lip service to the current share holders. Gonna be a red close today after the usual friday seller dumps some at the end of the day.
lol its not where out money went. Its what the hell if our company doing as stockholders own a sliver of the company. I dont think the hodges realize they are a PUBLIC company now.
it seems this would be the case with the companies that are licensees of GPSI
The majority of their liabilities are deferred revenue.
Definition of 'Deferred Revenue'
Advance payments or unearned revenue, recorded on the recipient's balance sheet as a liability, until the services have been rendered or products have been delivered. Deferred revenue is a liability because it refers to revenue that has not yet been earned, but represents products or services that are owed to the customer. As the product or service is delivered over time, it is recognized as revenue on the income statement.
Investopedia Says
Investopedia explains 'Deferred Revenue'
For example, a company that receives an advance payment of $100,000 for delivery of a product would book it as deferred revenue on its balance sheet. Once it delivers the product to the customer, the company would transfer the $100,000 from the deferred revenue account to regular revenue on its income statement.
Software companies generally have sizable amounts of deferred revenues on their balance sheets, typically representing license fees and annual maintenance charges. Analysts study trends in deferred revenues of such companies for a better indication of their financial performance.
Recording unearned revenues on the income statement, rather than as deferred revenues on the balance sheet, may be considered as aggressive accounting, as it would have the effect of overstating revenues.

Have you ever seen them put out a PR on consecutive days? Idk I have a feeling in my bones something is about to come out here.
https://ps.ezcardandkiosk.com/Mode/Remote/SelectFacility.aspx is the page that pops up when you type in the web address on the front of the kiosk too.
Yes and with yesterdays news that gives us two days of news back to back. For me that would be a first here. Maybe they are building up for something. (Fingers crossed)
Humm. 2 PR days back to back now that there is pretty odd for them. Maybe tomorrow will be a big one lol. Anyways have a good day everyone.
It looks as thought Fins are the only thing that can get this thing moving again. I thought for sure this News today would have some sorta effect. I mean its not every day you sign up for 60 new locations. It might only be for porbationtion but those 60 counties will see how well it works and might convert all their payment systems to GPSI. Right now they only have Fulton and another GA county(sorry i cant remember which one off hand) Fulton though contains Atlanta and if they can move to the other metro counties here thats 5+ million ppl.
the news is on fidelity so i guess its just crappy Etrade.
Now there is a PR worth wirghting and relasing. 60 locations in GA (my home state) if they keep adding accounts like this they will have thousands of kiosk out there in no time.
General Payment Systems, Inc. (OTC:GPSI) (the "Company") - a payment processing technology company that specializes in the $500 billion government payment space, is pleased to announce that the Company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to provide kiosk-based payment and tracking technology for probation needs through CSRA Probation Services which services approximately 60 courts in the State of Georgia. The agreement is the first of which for General Payment Systems in the probation and post release market.
"CSRA is a well-respected probation services provider used in a large number of court systems in Georgia," stated Ronald Hodge, CEO, General Payment Systems. "Their success and reputation in the state made them an appropriate partner for this collaboration. With a large book of probations accounts, we hope to soon become a popular method for the monthly payments and fees required for probation."
"A probationer will soon be able to complete a required monthly check-in and make their payment using a state-of-the art thermal fingerprint biometric technology," added Hodge. "It's the perfect combination of transaction based revenue and accountability for the probationer."
"A primary key for success in the field of community corrections is to remove as many obstacles as possible that might hinder the progress of those we supervise. The opportunity to partner with General Payment Systems, Inc. not only makes our job easier, it actually increases the chances of a positive outcome for those we supervise," stated Michael Popplewell, President, CSRA/Georgia Corrections Corporation.
you can get a better price if you wait a lil while. Theres nothing to make this go up right now so we are drifting down. Ill be looking around the .25s maybe
lol maybe now they can reopen the national parks :). Anyways interesting PR, but like you say not gonna spur a buying frenzy.
Seems as thought we are getting no PR today
Here is another one i think is pretty important for shareholders to ask themselves and GPSI. How has the R/S improved the ability of the company to grow? What type of Financing are you seeking maybe we have CPNs coming due around new years.
I mean all the "look at we we have done" PRs are like the bare minimum the can do and say they are looking out for the shareholders. New kiosk ok cool you have a new kiosk. How much will it cost to upgrade to this kiosk? Can existing kiosk be updated to use the new software? What type of increase of revenues are we expecting due to this new system? How much debt are we incurring? How much money are they making? Is the $1400 in profit from the first quarter unaudited fins growing with the new installations? What happened to the 400+ million pre R/S shares sold for $3 million that were defaulted on? Are we back down to 6 million shares now? There are way to many unknowns in this company to make it attractive for new money to come in.
I'm sorry but it is believable. No fins not even unaudited like the last round wont cut it here. I know you somehow think by releasing fins that they will give up secrets. However, I fail to see how keeping you balance sheet and the rest of the financials secret is helping them get investments.
No news and looks like someones patience ran out almost 20k dumped on the bid.
it sure would be nice :)
I would love to see how many transactions they have had in the 3ed quarter i know the PPS dont move with those types of PRs but it would give an idea of how long the 100 kiosk have been up and running.
Lol You mean if the PR it. Keep up the good work GPSI board approved ;)
3 minutes till 8am wonder if we will get news again today.
Edit: Dont look like it
Things that make ya go Humm GPSI
"To date, the company has delivered 150 kiosks and has orders for 40 more."
This quote from the article out today is what I like most. Just in march we were wooing and hollering about the 50th instillation. With the new software we should see faster growth of the use of GPSI products. I wonder how hard it would be to load the software on the ATMs at the courthouses already? Also with the default on the $3 million sale of shares in June and the cancellation of the shares issued would that bring the O/S down around 8 million or so now?
50th on the breakout boards. that shows life might be returning to the board finally. oh 46th with this post.
Wow 8k traded and the bid is down at .10?
Good morning GPSI! Looks like nothing much has changed yet, but hopefully they use this new start to get their house in order. If you guys want to add anything to the intro here let me know and ill add it. I went through last night and worked on cleaning it up some. Anyways I hope we at least close at where we were yesterday.
haha yeah if it keeps up like this I'll be able to buy back the shares i sould for vacation even cheaper then I sold them. However, If they get their shit together before then I would be ok with that too.
