To Antenahum or anyone on this board:
I have still not been able to find any way to hold these Brazilian shares when the GDS are eliminated.
Does anyone know where/how I can do it?
Your help is appreciated.
Thank you.
I cannot find any brokerage company to allow me to hold Petro Rio stock.
Please post any information of any company which will allow a US Citizen in the US to hold these shares.
Your help is appreciated.
Thank you.
I have some information to share about this delisting problem. I researched and called up Fidelity. They told me I can hold the Brazilian shares in their account and their number is 800-544-2976. I will probably call there on Monday and try to get the transfer complete.
There is one odd feature though. They said that I can hold the shares, and sell them when I want. But I cannot buy anymore shares through this account.
Does anyone else have any information or ideas on this issue?
Olympics
I wonder if this is a logical thought. The summer olympics will start this week. Could the attention to Brazil cause investors to move things upward there in the market, and Petro Rio.
Any ideas...
Petrobras well sales:
I saw a story on CNBC that Petrobras is putting up nine(9) wells for sale.
Does anyone have any information about it?
Wouldn't that provide us an opportunity to potentially buy one or more?
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
I got my proxy vote in the mail today. Any thoughts?
There was a posting on the chariot oil and gas discussion board that Anadarko was currently negotiating to farm-in to the Namibia 037 block together with Tullow Oil and Pancontinental Oil.
However, immediately after that(this week) Pancontinental Oil went down substantially to less than one cent. Does that indicate someone on the inside knows something bad, or could this be a chance to get Pancontinental super cheap.
There is a deadline for March 2016 for Tullow to plan to drill there or lose their farm-in.
If anyone has any thoughts, please share them.
Namibia could get more drillings in coming years.
There is news in the oil patch. But could it help our company.
Firstly, Shell has announced their plans to spend significant funds(billions) to drill in Brazil off shore over the next five years and substantially increase their production there.
Secondly, today there was an announcement on the news about ENI making a very large gas discovery off shore of Egypt.
What are saying? Are we in the hopeless position if we holding these share at this time?
I clicked on it. It is in Portugesse. What is the essence of it?
Does this mean that Shell is currently drilling to potentially expand production of the field which it contracted to sell to hrt?
That seems oddly generous?
Re Namibia Leases
When will we hear something about the Namibia leases? Are there negotiations simply to sell them or what?
Hello,
Bob, I too am trying to understand many things about this industry.
I have been building a position in this company and also chariot. If you would like we could exchange email and we could communicate directly about anything we learn about these companies.
My question is when there is a farm-in contract for drilling is that just for one specific well, or is it for the whole block. That is, theoretically is it possible for a company to obtain many farm-ins and drillings with many different companies within one block leased offshore. I hope that chariot could do this in Mauritania.
Good luck to everyone!
Does this mean that all of blocks which were shared with Rosneft
are now sold completely, or is this just a small portion?
Thanks.
Where would you approximate the share price to be if and when we get there?
By the way, does anyone know what to expect when the new field from Shell in Brazil is operational. What I mean is where would the profit price point be? If it were producing at the expected level and the current price would there be profit expected for it. If not where is the price needed to produce a profit?
Also, does anyone have any information about the prospect of Pancontinental being drilled with Tullow Oil in 2016 or 17? It seems that Pancontinental's price is on the floor around 1 cent.
However, Chariot Oil is hopeful these days since there was a discovery in Senegal last year. And there are three wells anticipated to be drilled in Mauritania by Kosmos Energy in 2015. Chariot has one block in Mauritania, and others in Brazil, Namibia, and Morocco offshore. Their Mauritania block is most promising now. I got more recently when it was at $0.13. Today it is at $0.16, just like HRT it crashed from its IPO price massively.
I appreciate what others might share. I review this board, and also the chariot oil and gas discussion board frequently.
Can it be true?
Is Hrt destroyed? Can Hrt be down 99% now when it should be going up?
What is going on here?
The website of my trading account indicates now there has been a dividend declared for the shares of hrt in the amount of 13 %.
Does anyone else have this showing up in their account? Can anyone confirm this?
Is anyone concerned that this stock is still not trading?
Your time is appreciated. Thank you.
Does anyone know why it is still not trading?
There is a posting on "Chariot Oil and Gas discussion" about negotiations going on now for a joint venture to be created with at least three companies for work on a location of the shore in the interior of Namibia on the northern border with Angola.
Does anyone else have any information or comments about it?
Does anyone have any idea why JGPetrochemical/Nelson Tanure has cut his position so much.
We just keep on declining?
There seems to be some other part to the story--status of Hrt. But what is it? As so many continue to post the prospects and cash position of HRT is good while it continues its decline.
Any idea why?
I have been building a position in HRT since before the UNX buyout, so I am totally committed to it.
Any theories?
Today's trading shows drops in three of my stocks:
1. pcogf(pancontinental)--42%
2. chariot oil--9.5%
3. HRT--5.31%
All of these have major holdings in Namibia?
Why did these go down today?
Does anyone know?
There are more sanctions on Russia today. Let's hope this motivates them to use the chances to work with HRT, and make it a priority.
There are too many different possibilities. Let's hope it is coming soon.
GLTA
Well, why doesn't somebody say something?
Is this the chance for the big progress to be made as we had hoped?
Northsun, Van, anyone?
The tower resources discussion board posted the RNS that their drilling is a "duster".
Any thoughts on the impact for us?
Van, what do you think of this reverse split?
Are we getting set up to be bought out cheap?
Is there any realistic chance to stop it since the institutions have so much of the company?
What is the position of Goldman Sachs? Don't they have 5% of the company?
If they are against it, then they could be critical in their vote. If they are for it, then they might be a central player in the "plan"(what ever that might be).
Who bought Discovery's Shares?
I am surprised that by this time(almost one week) since the transaction we could not find out who bought those 38,000,000 shares from Discovery?
Doesn't someone know how to determine it?
I am confused too...was it good sign or a bad one?
Any help from anyone is appreciated.
Does anyone know who bought those 38 million shares of HRT yesterday?
If it is an institution/company who already holds a significant block then doesn't that mean they must make a takeover bid? That is since they will clearly be over the 20% mark?
Does anyone know what happened today? Is this the first step to the buyout offer for HRT?
The Brzilian market closed up for hrtp3, but down for HRT.
Today was supposed to be the day of the Tower/Repsol drilling. There was no announcement?
Does anyone have any information?
I saw there is a claim being submitted to arbitration from a company which did seismic reports for HRT in the Amazon. They are pursuing a claim for over 20 million dollars.
It is a story on Bloomberg. What does anyone know or think of it.
Please check it out. Provide your thoughts.
Thank you.
I read the posting from Jimmy on the Chariot Board which was reproduced here describing the CC.
Is it true that FOURTEEN companies have expressed an interest in a farmout for Wingat? If that is true then dozens of these different professional geologists from all those companies looked at the results of Wingat and concluded there is a good chance for eventual commercial success there.
Am I looking at this through rose colored glasses? Or does that mean regardless of the results of Moosehead, 2014 could likely produce more drilling at Wingat and likely a commercial oil discovery.
I have read the articles on Energy Pedia which plainly state the probability of success for this scheduled drilling in Namibia for HRT is 20% - 30%.
Does that mean an objective analysis would conclude there is a 70% to 80% chance of failure? Does that mean there is a 70% - 80% chance this stock price will collapse following that result later this year?
Does anybody know why Chariot Oil's efforts here were a failure just recently? Why would we believe HRT's efforts and wells would be successful and Chariot Oil's a failure.
It seems most members here are optimistic. I am optimistic too. But I want to know if anyone knows what explains these apparent contrarian indicators.
