As someone who has followed your work, I don't like when you take a shine for a company I am invested in. I've always been a bit relieved though that you haven't blasted XXII nearly as strongly as some other co's though. I wonder if that's because altho it's been badly managed, ultra greasy (these pumps make me want out) and the balance sheet is a dumpster fire however it is not completely useless and devoid of potential.
Maybe not though.
Makes you wonder about the motivation to pay for a pumper newsletter.
I'm with you and I appreciate (all of) your posts. If there is one thing that turns me off of this stock it is the pumping.
That's what I was missing.
This is good news.
Was spectrum not already available to anyone that wanted it?
GEORGE MARCEVSKI – CHIEF IMPORTANT PERSON
So soft. Don't get me wrong I like to hear news but this is blog material. For some reason xxii mgmt have some real pumper tendencies that I wish they didn't have. Let it all unfold, we will wait...
I'm all for raising awareness around our little undiscovered company but I can't say I'm a fan of pump newsletter involvement. Does anyone have experience with a successful company that pumped the stock in its early days? Honest question.
Not sure I agree. They're going for the jugular on one of the brands that controls many of their potential customers. Time to strike while they are vulnerable.
Questions from 4 investment firms so far - albeit some smaller ones. Was hoping to see some interest there, no offence but didn't want to hear questions from average joe investor.
Rumoured by whom re: XXII in revo?
Also, if you look at the tweeted picture of the sphere3d booth, there is no server rack there. And no room for one either.
58% voted in favor of legalizing versus the requisite 60%. I would say the tides are turning in the right direction. Quite honestly, it may be for the best to delay the tidal wave a little bit longer… Let us get our ducks in a row. We aren't quite there yet.
Extremely odd to see a termination, especially considering the snippet where they are considering hiring him as CTI. Sounds like a golden handshake.. Wonder what was his severance amount is - bet its big
Great post that everybody needs to read. Twice. I will buy you a beer next time I drive down the 401 towards the big smoke.
But I think he's occasionally biting his lip......
Short interest up 27% to 3.7M
I wasn't gonna be the first to say it, and although in appreciative of the DD, that was not an interview. It was a high level summary of his meeting with management - in his word not theirs. They may have insisted on that, not sure. Underwhelmed though.
What happens to holders of any.v if it's delisted? Holding it in my RRSP.
TIA
Man, you guys are negative. Next time I will consider refraining from sharing anything I hear from Steve or otherwise. Nothing wrong with his response.
Look, the India opportunity is a Hail Mary at best, personally I thought it was bogus from the moment it was posted on this board.
The security pack will drive immediately accretive revenue opportunities from existing customers. Do you not see this as a positive? The company is building out one vertical at a time and to see immediate traction upon the launch of the security pack is fantastic news.
We'll friends, we are all in this together so I will share an email from Steve this morning. I had asked him about immediate revenue opportunities from the security pack, India TV streaming and japan.
"
We have a reseller from old Clipstream that may be representing us in India. We're testing with him.
Existing market research customers should start using us more right away based on this security pack. Getting new companies will take a bit longer. We're sponsoring a couple upcoming trade shows.
We still have irons in the fire from Japan for both products. One of our sales staff is going back there this month to meet the labels in Japan for MPE.
It's taking time, but it IS all coming together.
"
Sure it's been said by someone else already but I feel an absolute idiot letting the same thing happen to me with ANY that did with XXII after uplisting. Fool me twice shame on me.
This call had a better feel to it . Hard to put my finger on it , but it felt to me like it had more substance and less hype. Steve has clearly been coached on how to set expectations, thank 3part for that, and is doing a decent job at it but you can tell he is dying to over promise.
I want them to say that launching the cloud product first was a mistake. I don't care if they are getting feedback from users, they are in the business and should already know what they want and what they need. All focus should have gone into building out the market research product where we already have BIG customers and revenue with room for growth. Instead it has been sitting idly by with no growth in at least a year (still sitting at 5% of overall revenue after all this time). The security pack Steve told me would be ready in 3 months in March is still not ready.
I digress, i may not sound pleased with the call but i am. It surpassed my expectations and I look forward to the security pack and improvements to video quality that should be coming soon.
I am wondering if the clipstream revenue includes what we already had from the market research companies or if it's all from the new web uploader
Found this http://www.scatmag.com/technical/techarticle_apr04.pdf which has the same blurb about piloting video on demand in India and is dated 2004.
I am expecting a 'business update' from mgmt," leading up to July 15, that's their style. If not I would imagine there is nothing material to report.
Nope, you couldn't be more wrong. I'm on an iPhone, there is no date listed. I've emailed Steve to see if he cares to comment and also asked for an update on the survey security pack that should be just launching now.
Can anyone find a date? It's using the old clipstream logo, I have a feeling it's not very recent.
Smells like more Steve buying
Thanks! Keep us updated on anything you hear from your parts of the world. From recent press releases it seems our cigs should be available in Benelux this summer.
It is declining if you look at past quarterly results however we may have turned a corner. I definitely agree that there are many signs out there that are very encouraging. The lack of news I find bullish as well, seems the company finally decided to retrench and focus on the business instead of the stock price.
MPE revs will be up this Q, I'll be surprised if more than 10-15% but it will be welcomed whatever it amounts to be.
I feel like I am walking in your shoes here, but they've had those customers for years. It's nothing new and there has been no growth revealed yet. All it takes is 10k in revenue to bump that number up a percent and the new clipstream doesn't seem to have produced that yet. I hope I'm wrong, I'm ready to be wrong given all the insider buying which I find very bullish but there's no good news hidden in the statement that clipstream accounts for 5% of revenues. Old news.
It has been 4% for a few quarters now and it's all clipstream survey. It likely is only 5% now because other revenues shrunk - not growth.
It has been known for a while that we would submit FDA applications for VLN sometime this year. Why do you think its so imminent? Also application will surely take a year or more I would imagine given the pace at which the FDA works.
So is China tobacco.... Im good either way
I wouldn't mind that at this point, if only because of the fact that if he makes money I make money.
Chalk up another 50k shares for Stevie.
Can anyone explain to me if today's patent is a net new 'function' or if it just confirmation of the technology we already knew we had? I believe it is the latter just want to confirm.
Often larger co's will wait for technology/process to be confirmed with a patent before they really get interested (or admit they are forced to play ball and cooperate). Wonder if this opens the door to some announcements aka BAT in the US.
Tweeted by clipstream today:
@SurveyClip: Great #WorldCup ad by #cocacola encode and hosted in #Clipstream Cloud http://t.co/loDmoiGfoC
Clipstream accounted for 4% of TTM revenue in April, now it's 5 of current revenue? Not sure if that's actual growth as MPE has declined over the same period.
When I emailed with Steve approx 3 months ago he said a clipstream survey upgrade that was in high demand and could take it to next level would launch right about now. Wonder if it has.
