My take aways from the presentation:

1. QIDP + NEC really means that Brilacidin will have 10 years of market exclusivity beyond patent protection and possibly an additional 6 months if B can be used in pediatric patients.

2. Accelerated approval which CTIX can apply for Brilacidin, could mean that it hits the market on a limited use before final FDA approval and since production of 65lbs was ordered last year it is very possible that Brilacidin could hit the market very quickly.

3. Prurisol? using the 505 pathway could go to phase III as soon as bioavailability is established.

Accelerated Approval + 65lb Gorilla to me means that B Can hit the market as early as 1st half of 2016. The additional data requested by the FDA is to ensure they can stamp the ok for Accelerated Approval.

I agree with your view. I just think that "momentous" was in fact meant to be exactly that. We are all humans and you can never remove that from any equation so I believe that Leo was unfortunately surprised as we all were that the FDA wanted more information. So here we are today and I don't think its discouraged him in the least, and it has not put a ding in his armor... Quite the contrary as I believe "momentous" is more than likely around the corner and anytime now.

Keltoi, I suspect that's exactly what is transpiring. Leo likes to make things "Grand". Momentous in December was obviously tied to FDA approval of phase III for B, a partnership or deal is contingent on it but it was thwarted by the FDA. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some fireworks planned to line up with ASCO and Uplisting.
