Isn't that the average number of trading days in a year?
Happy Halloween Pop!
ignore at your (not gloe's) peril
http://www.amanita.at/e/faq/e-bradley.htm
and FWIW, I have no clue how this thing works
and, Nocona..please touch base with your children!
just for grins
Yo gloe...
did you find e wave stuff to work better than tweaked ners?
(at least I "thought" you were checking it out)
I don't understand
if you don't care, why did you respond?
got it...
MVP whole cloth?
could you explain what you mean by "whole cloth"?
I always thought it meant something was based on lies
they're just a framework...try them on stocks and see how they work. They were intially used on QQQQ etf, morphed to ER2 futures for better returns
Nocona..I'm curious as to which instrument the boys think is working best with NERS...IWM? cattle? corn? etc...
minor Bradley turn date today..fwiw
HA! no woodie stuff for me...I do use 50 tick candles for an early heads up/front run...but in conjunction with the 5 min candles
well, I use the 50's as triggers. and positions are held until both the 144 and 3/8 agree...but the 3/8 can change while the 144 stays the same. It is interesting how the 2 keep you on the right side of the trade (more often than not). You can also try a 2/5 ema to speed things up....or look at the 6 cci zero cross. I usually do not wait for the signal to exit...I prefer to front run using a cross of the 100 or 80 line on the 6 cci if there are more than 40-50 ticks on the table
That should add to the confusion! lol
I think you'll find that the 3/8 flips enough also to cause the whips....but try it and let us know!
all I can tell ya is when I tried smaller intervals I got whipped too much...50 is about as small as I go on a 5 min chart.
Thanks for the tip
I believe you are CORRECT sir!
nothing but crickets.....
FWIW....

NICE!
KEEP IT DOWN! some of us are trying to trade over here! lol
FWIW..re: avrg ticks per day with NERS
Over the past 12 months, using slightly less than exact record keeping
But pretty close to exact
I'd say straight up NERS will yield over 80 ticks per day
Using tweaks and front running will add 20-30 more ticks per day
over a 3 month time frame..suck up the bad times
anyone else agree?
Nocona....check out what I bought with this weeks profits...

Very disappointed in QT support
past episodes were fine
seems like a new shift in customer care
for the worse
fwiw
gotta be IB data feed....QQQQ charts work fine
are you having QT probs this am? I am.....
Nocona..the 50 tick chart and the 1/720 are similar, so yes, it worked very well
I'm curious Pop...are you using nars or ners more often?
Wow...I thought you were taking the year off! lol..good to hear from ya...any new thoughts on ners/nars?
IMO, there are ners days and there are nars days...today was ners with avoiding the longs under the 34....
Pop..100 ticks here, 100 ticks there...pretty soon we're talkin' about serious money!
I don't follow strict rules re 50 points....the slope of the 288 and/or 14 gives me clues whether to switch or not. Sometimes I go with only 30-35 point move, other times I stay put even with a 60 point move. I also look at how strong the NERS 144 slope is and where we are in relation the the 34 ema. Sorry. No hard rule set....yet.
I'm not using the 5 min 6zx anymore..take a look at the 14 cci zx on the 50 tick chart
NARS ala the 50 tick candles did well too....
I'm using 1,000 now.lol..yep, went to cash
need to see the 34 breached to go long..
with IWM, some days can be whippy, but in general, no.
I didn't see a cross of the zero
