JP: I believe the MedGenesis Study results will be out in a reasonable timeframe or within a month or two. JN said this reality could affect AMBS (if positive).
MedGenesis Therapeutix raises $5.0 million in equity financing to support the Phase II development of GDNF in Parkinson's Disease
Victoria, British Columbia, January 10, 2012 - MedGenesis Therapeutix Inc, a privately held biotechnology company focused on the development of definitive treatments for neurologic disease, announced today that it has raised $5.0 million to support the phase II clinical development of glial cell derived neurotrophic factor protein (GDNF) in Parkinson's disease. GDNF is a naturally-occurring growth factor capable of protecting and promoting the survival of dopamine producing nerve cells.
News is coming and inevitable....but lets refrain from pinpointing an exact day for it to happen...didnt a few other posters start these rumors (over the last few weeks and months) that rarely ever come true.
The PPS has the look and feel that there are some heavy weights accumulating (boutique firms, maybe Fidelity, firms that dont have bylaws to buy and hold penny stocks). Multiple green days in a row; and it appears that we will break through massive resistance between $.09/$.0920 shortly.
Risk: Investors are more enamored with emotional based posting then dealing with the Science and the business Operations. So many here are adding fuel to the fire with engaging with certain posters and getting into meaningless and mindless debates.
I have made all my investments decisions (or at least the majority of them) on my DD and then looking for reinforcement and validation on those who I respect. And I refuse to engage the select few who are wasting my time and effort ...to learn more about this incredible investment opportunity.
Go AMBS...the fun hasnt even started yet...accumulation continues and once the loading is done...it will be off to the races. Lastly, the flippers have won a S/T battle ...but I hope its the one day that they flip out that Gerald will make them pay.
Very good support at $.074; it was tested and held. The smart money (or chartists) will see that .....great close at the end of day. I still believe that our PPS will be above $.09 by Friday (maybe sooner)....and with good news back above $.10 or more.
Watch all the people come out taking credit for loading the last few days and buying at the bottom of the correction (its like clockwork). Its just like the same people who claim they sold right at the recent top....very entertaining indeed!
Todays goal; Reclaim 50 day moving avg above $.0840. Stretch goal: lets see if we can close above $.09. I am going with the close above $.09 target for today.

If Gerald was smart; with the recent washout and downdraft....what a time to gap it up Mon. AM and release a significant PR(most weak holders are probably gone now). However, I notice Gerald seems to release more news on a Tuesday (than most other days). Coincidental? Perhaps!
30mm share trading day will happen soon...as this time around it would be best to release the good news and absorb all those Dominion shares coming on to the market and remove this negative hurdle sooner than later.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=ambs
Lets see if we can break back above $.0840 early next week. Currently, this is the 50 day moving avg....it will be very bullish to stay above this level and ascend from there.
hnbadger1: I am completely surprised that I have posted that I own several million shares and havent sold any ...and some think that I am a basher. Lol.
Thanks for your support (and being a realist here...several are not). I want the best for this company and my investment (just like any holder big or small). Gerald has potentially an amazing pipeline ....but without proper financial execution it wont matter much (what if the new LymPro follow up study doesnt pan out)?
Actually, I dont agree with the strategy to delay LymPro JV possibilities.....as this company is desperately seeking cash to invest in its robust pipeline. I would take a reasonable deal now versus waiting to 2015 (which Jason Napadano seems to think LymPro will get commercialized...I hope Gerald is right but my gut instincts dont agree that it will happen in 2014).
R/S possibilities (as of right now) will be 50:1 or much higher....unless a substantial PR with $$$ = JV and/or a serious capital raise.
Welcome to investment reality....I hope it all works out.
Good point! I am just concerned that the size of this coming RS is going to be substantial. I am not a big fan of R/S situations (you will need to own a lot of shares to have anything left...its simple math).
We need a very substantial PR this coming week(or sooner than later)..as the sentiment has really changed here. Also, I really hope $.08 holds as major support (really critical level to hold right now).
Lastly, I am still awaiting for all this Non dilutive funding to happen...did I miss a few PR's (or is this still a mirage)?
Risk:
I am glad you see the true colors with the Financing arrangements here. And so does JP....I think Gerald has done very well for himself and the company on so many fronts....but a huge miss on the financing deals.
What a critical time we are at this juncture....too botch it now would be devastating to the fortunes of so many retail holders. I feel like we just regressed all over...but I hold out tremendous hope that the Science will bail us out.
When you are up to it....it would be good to catch up in due time (you know what I mean).
Your DD and research is not sufficient. A quality investment firm like Lincoln doesnt shell out $27mm to a penny stock. Are you ignorant?
I believe AMBS did pay some investment promo. firms over the last year too. S/T memory loss?
Thanks JP....I really appreciate that you posted the PR itself. It says everything that I am trying to establish and reinforce with what AMBS needs to do...and if the Science is so great....it should be a formality to raise $10-$20mm ...in my opinion.
I have not sold a single share...and would consider myself a top 20 holder in the stock.
It was trading below $.10 cents only so many months ago...alot of promo.....wouldnt you say? Just a ridiculous point on your end!!!
I see that you have a myopic viewpoint and dont want to see things objectively. I dont own any stock in that company "NVLX"; and if you had simply understood that I was establishing a reality that AMBS could soar (if they could garner a similar capital raise). What is it that you dont seem to get in relation to my point?
For heavens sakes...its seems like some around here just cant take anything that doesnt align to their precious investment mindset. Well, I have several million shares myself...sound like someone working against AMBS and management here?
Just another huge reality check (from a small bio penny stock that I posted yesterday ...and look what it did today:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=nvlx
This penny biotech stock has soared over last 48 hours and why?
Look at the huge and successful capital raise!!!! It can still be done with AMBS...hang in there folks.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/nuvilex-announces-27-million-funding-140000013.html
I have attached a link of a bio. penny stock that just announced a high quality capital raise...and look what it did for the stock today. I must admit that I am somewhat perplexed as to why Gerald (and Mgt.) cant attract a higher quality financing deal...a little disappointing as the reality that there will be a much higher RS is becoming more significant with each day.
I agree with JP ...enough is enough (its like we are still trading at junk status and still need Dominion ....run these guys out of town and hire a real firm like Fidelity or a venture capital firm....for heavens sakes).
By far, this post just might be the best one in 2014. I read this board daily; and am dumbfounded why so many are more interested in engaging nitwits then talking about the science at great length.
Just a huge turnoff to those trying to assess this company as a superb investment that it is....come on folks.
Facts are facts! Good post!
Trying to break through major resistance at $.10; the PPS will run once we get a fresh PR and some volume. Fundamentally, we are as strong as ever.....GLTA!!
Of course you would do a swap if your one of Geralds allies (and a friendly investor). These so called investors will help propel the stock upward and do whats right for the company overall.
Its very good news to have cash on the balance sheet (their is dilution....but this newly structured deal looks less dilutive to me because the warrant and conversion look to be at higher prices).
This is my interpretation; but I am not a bona fide expert either (so perhaps someone can reach out to Gerald and ask for additional clarification ...I just dont have the time today). Thanks.
Thanks JP; the feelings our mutual!!! I am very appreciate of the hard work, due diligence and efforts by many key posters (including yourself). I think this just might be the most exciting time in the history for AMBS...just crossing the bridge right now to find our jackpot on the other side).
I feel next 2 weeks are going to be HUGE for this company..just my gut instincts. Have a great weekend!!!
Amen! JPetro:
....thats my call as well! Gerald would be wise to nail a $20mm-$30mm dollar deal....the market value will explode as it will unlock all the value of a rather mature pipeline (and HUGE up and coming asset portfolio in play).
Fidelity bio. seems to have the inside edge; but I believe it will be another source (as its not always what you see is what you get).
Great things to come who have faith in this stunning pipeline (and outstanding mgt. team as well).
Gerald has been somewhat quiet when it comes to releasing news/updates on LymPro. But when you can stand in front of an investor audience at a Conference; and confirm that you dont need to partner anytime soon (what a vote of confidence there).
In relation to the selloff, you only need to look at the chart and reconfirm the PPS is still in a very bullish formation. Lastly, Wall street had a risk off approach and trade over the last week or two (now, it appears the market correct is over; therefore, you can expect the risk on trade to be back and already started).
Bottome line: We are ripe for take off now; the only MAJOR missing link is cash....and my money says Gerald will get it done. GLTA!!!
Per JN recent write-up; I am trying to figure out who current has ownership of the Eltoprazine IND's for ADHD and Schizophrenia. Does AMBS now have complete ownership and rights to these IND's (its not clear based on the PD LID transaction).
If AMBS does own these IND's as well; it would be informative to know when these IND's were filed and how close the FDA is to granting possible approval:
Zacks article writeup:
"We expect Amarantus to look to push into a Phase 2b clinical trial with eltoprazine during the second half of 2014. Given the history and interest of the molecule by the MJFF, we would not be surprised to see Amarantus pursue grant funding to help off-set the cost of this study. Based on plans we’ve seen from Addex and Novartis, Amarantus should be able to move into Phase 2b targeting ~150 patients for around $5 million all-in. Management is currently in the process of identifying centers and selecting a principal investigator for the study. IND’s have already been filed on eltoprazine in ADHD and schizophrenia, with clinical trial agreement (CTA) and medical products agency (MPA) agreement filed in Sweden for PD-LID.
JP: LMAO!! You are doing a great job enlightening our fellow investors (including myself). I am glad to see (and hear) that someone truly gets it (many others will follow and/or are jumping on board in a hurry now).
Dr. Rubinfield's quote below (one of the founders of AMGEN) says it all...do we need to know more:
"I believe in MANF," said Dr. Rubinfeld, "I have reviewed a great number of technologies in my 45 year career in the biopharmaceutical field, and I believe that MANF could be one of the biggest successes that I have ever seen. The fundamental scientific premise of reducing protein misfolding is basic, yet very profound. The data, while early, demonstrates very clearly at the cellular level and in animals that MANF reduces apoptosis, improves cellular function, and restores behavioural deficits in a number of disease models, including Parkinson's, Stroke, Myocardial Infarction and Traumatic Brain Injury. These are all indications with very large markets and clear unmet medical need. I believe that if we are able to further de-risk MANF with positive toxicology studies and early clinical data, the Company's new orphan drug strategy could get MANF to market rather expeditiously. MANF has the commercial potential to become a blockbuster drug."
Obtaining another $5mm ....via the most recent structured warrant deal would be a joke for this company (at this time). I believe the decision was made a while back to guarantee the companys survival.
However, they need $20-$50mm to move the portfolio forward. I do believe the warrant deal will be canceled ..in favor of a Dr. Lowe sponsored transaction (which I believe is no more than 2 weeks away).
Does Mgt. want to play little league Baseball or major league Baseball? The addition of Dr. Lowe was a Godsend for this company...he is now running the ship (even Gerald has acknowledged that reality). Honestly, I cant contain my enthusiasm as where this company's future will go (and be)....the stars are aligning right in front of our eyes (and in a hurry now).
Amazing!! Lots of $$$ available from many sources; its hard to fathom that eventually Gerald will not secure some Grant $$$ somewhere. Could you imagine what will happen to our PPS once $20, $30, 40 or $50mm is potentially secured via a significant funding source (other than Grant funding).
Just do the simple math; at $50mm market cap right now; with at least $20mm in cash; we should ascend somewhere into the $250mm valuation area (based on latest developments and current asset base) since it will unlock all the value with the assets that require $$$ to advance further.
Lastly, my valuation: is we belong closer to $.50 cents right now (once $$$ is brought to the table or any major partnership will send us much closer to a $1 as well).
I will be really surprised if its not Ischemic Heart disease (of some sort).....its clearly a targeted MANF indication (other than TBI).
Also, BANYAN doing big things with TBI (nice NFL grant award a few days ago....remember that Amarantus has an alliance with BANYAN....so its very possible that an announcement occurs sometime this week (regarding this indication as well).
JPetro:
Brilliant post!!! I have been trying to reiterate the same fact; Gerald (and his respective team) will take this company to a whole new level soon. I agree; I am expecting a much higher quality financing to fund the huge portfolio of assets (sooner than later).
Also, your point is well taken....the Warrants have not been registered yet for a reason; a new venture capital or financing transaction is on the way (ask yourself one question: who is supporting and keeping our PPS at or above $.10....even in the massive WS sell off that occurred the last two business days).
I am projecting a $20mm ++ financing deal ....and our PPS is under significant accumulation as well...look at the size of the buy orders coming through lately...good work JP!!!

Let the stock price define success or failure here. To spend as much time as some are defending the business decisions and execution is a complete waste of time (based on a few posters who consistently bash). There will always be some here who are simply jealous, missed the most recent uptrend or just want to short the stock price.
I have one simple (and preferred) mandate that I focus on when buying shares (and accumulating shares of a potential investment):
"...follow the listen to the actions and decisions made by the CEO". Gerald (and his respective team) are executing and delivering and meeting milestones...and the stock price is moving higher...all other rhetoric going back and forth here on the message board defending the management team's decisions (and board of advisors execution is borderline ridcilous)".
Lastly, to those who just dont get it...you will figure it out sooner than later ...stock price is going WAY higher.
What has changed in the last 24 hours? For those who are astute; add more shares. I wont deny that Gerald is very transparent (perhaps too honest); I think yesterdays sell off is a simple live and learn.....Gerald just needs to keep certain things under the vest (lack of any catalysts for a LymPro partnership anytime soon)....shareholders didnt need to have that much information.
For me; I will be buying at the open; as the fundamentals have not changed......time to dollar cost average as low as possible. Heading back up and over $.10 or $.11 by next Tuesday.
Note: I am really expecting a much high quality capital raise within a week or two (so yesterdays selloff just might be from the "in the know crowd"....and once the financing is completed....the stock is going to have a HUGE rally within weeks post the completed financing transaction. GLTA!!!
For the record; Dr. Lowe is a powerful man. With the Phase 2 LID compound now on the books; you will see some quality financing or venture capital come our way (you just dont announce acquiring a licensed Phase 2 compound based on the current cash situation; the other side of the arrangement is coming soon).
Fidelity just might be a very serious player; but other VC firms will be interested as well. In terms of LymPro (I believe a BD partnership wont happen until any Uplisting occurs (if at all).
Brilliant strategy is being executed here; and the smart money will be buying ...the PPS held up very well yesterday for a reason. GLTA!!
Great twist in the story...finding a possible a CPT code (aligned to LymPro) .....has added a new dimension here. Can you only imagine when the smart money realizes that we can possibly be ramping up revenues shortly and even be profitable by next year....it could potentially light an immediate fire under the PPS and sent it sharply:
Gerald has many good problems; what does he progress and move forward with this rich pipeleine:
1) LymPro - commercialize or sell the division? $$$$
2) Phenoguard partnership = $$$$ (John C. mentioned that it could be partnered in early 2014)
3) PD Lid compound - start Phase 2b trials within months; immediate boost to market capitalization (bought for peanuts = $100k).
4) Retinonis Pigmentosis Orphan - partner with a Pharma - $$$$
5) Attract high quality financing - Wall street readjusts the current market capitalization upward as many assets can be advanced immediately.
6) Wolframs Diabetes Orphan/Type 2 Diabetes - partner with a Pharma - $$$$
7) TBI - big stuff coming later in Jan. (stake is already in the ground); possible big grants coming there. NFL, Govt. or Banyan Biomarkers
8) Another Orphan data announcement - Ischemic Heart disease or a surprise announcement.
Does it get any better than this folks? Wow!!!
Great question!! The PD LID announcement is huge because the company now has a compound on the verge of being a Phase2b clinical trial candidate (with the In Licensing deal officially completed); they just need to start the trial up (in 2014). Therefore, I am highly confident that another transaction (whether its financing or a LymPro partnership is more than likely right around the corner).
Bottom line: I cant see any reason why Gerald would announce this deal in relation to its current (and weak) cash position. I predict that a venture capital fund will lend $30-$40mm in one lump sum (also, I believe the LID compound has been backed by MJFF; which was not mentioned in the news release this AM).
Note: Dr. David Lowe to present at 11:50Am today (at the OneMed conference) to provide additional details of this announcement.
Way to go Gerald!!!
Congrats Longs!!! It will be seen just how high this goes tomorrow (whether it spikes or grinds higher). I would like to see a higher quality financing transaction as follow up ..like $30=$50mm to light a fire under the entire portfolio. Thanks to all the individuals who have posted tons of great information....I have held my entire position and have added consistently over many months.....always believed in the CEO.
BTW: We are only in the 2nd inning....possibly a journey and opportunity of a lifetime!! GLTA!!!

2014 will be a HUGE year for this company. The dilution will hurt; but the upside will greatly outweigh the downside. I hope the PPS gets above $1.00 before any R/S (or if we pull a miracle...maybe $2.00).
I feel the worst is behind us....this puppy wants to go much, much higher (under strong accumulation). GLTA!!!
