I've pretty much stopped coming to this board. Not that I don't enjoy most posts and posters, but the board is so out of sync with the price action of the stock that it hurts, spiritually, emotionally, and even physically. the truth is that nothing is going to move this stock until something really good happens. We need unbelievable results presented at the AHA in mid-November, Marjac's efforts being a resounding success ASAP. and really good news out of Germany. If all three play out before the end of December this stock might see $10. But that is merely wishful thinking. Most likely we'll close like we did last year, $4.89.
Thanks for the input. As of 9/23/21, we will be calling Clarkston home!
Am moving from greater. Chicago area to are Northwest Detroit Area.Anyone familiar with a G P or Cardio that routinely prescribes Vascepa and Repatha? Don’t want to re-educate new docs.
Any news or posts regarding the success/failure of today’s Vazkepa launch? So far I’ve seen nothing, but have only sporadically checked the sites.p, busy preparing to move.
I don’t remember exactly how the saying/belief went but in Japan it was/is believed that with a new emperor came a new era in Japanese era/ fortune. I’m expecting the same for Amarin.
The reason to prescribe Vascepa Lovaza, fibrates, etc. is to lower very high triglycerides. However several years ago high tri's were deemed not to be a marker for CVD, only possibly pancreatitis I believe. I don't think V or GV are being prescribed for the risk of pancreatitis, though.
Thanx for you illuminating response. As far as I’am concerned PI-2 and mitigate results can’t come soon enough.
Pharmacydude;
1) were these the kind of results you were expecting from PI-1 ? (Nothingburger )
2) it can now be safely said V has no antiviral properties,.
3) Given the poor results from PI-1, can anything good really be expected fro PI-2?
4} Do you personally. Have high hopes for PI-2?
5) when will we know the results of PI-2 and Mitigate for that matter,
And when will we know the results of PI-2? 2023? And will it be just another disappointment in a long line of disappointments? Why I stay the course is beyond me. I’m irrational.
So much for the giddy expectation that Vascepa would prove beneficial against COVID in the current pandemic.
I've sort of missed your smart-ass comments. are you here to stay or will you return to the AMC board for your entertainment?
Make mine "T" with two sugars.
Could be: Pharmacydude, JesseL, Captain Beer, Rafun, Hindukush, many others on this board that have been reading and learning.
my suspicion is that the only thought given to that venue was the comfort and travel of one Mr. Kennedy.
AAM likely does not receive any funding from generic drug companies. Just a well-intentioned group of fair-minded citizens
absolutely pathetic. Salesforce should be terminated now
I agree with the other responders--file early. Your brief is done except for the appendix. Delay may result in overthinking the brief and making unnecessary changes to its detriment. Often our first effort is our best effort due to the intensity of our thinking and effort. If the brief is done, now we are coasting. Thank you for all of your splendid effort to date.
"But it has a highly variable out-of-pocket cost." perhaps one of the greatest impediments to fast-growing script numbers.
Still too much politics swamping virus facts.
Do we have any patents or patent applications for the use of Vascepa in the treatment/prevention of COVID. would such patents be possible?
Something to think about (increasing need for Vascepa in treatment and prevention):

Not exactly sure what this post implies, but I for one would hate to see us/you drop the rule 60 case. fraud was perpetrated on the court to AMRN's significant hurt, and mine and yours. Even if we win the rule 60 case it is unlikely many of us will be made whole, unless treble damages can be assessed.
I don’t have his email address!
If medical community would have focused on prevention ( vitamin C and D and zinc and other immune boosting supplements) and known cures (hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin) we’d be in a lot better shape than we are now, without the damage being done by experimental vaccines that have killed more people in the last year or so than all other vaccines in the last 20 years combined.
Don’t know if this was previously published if so sorry:

“Buffett opposed options for the same reason that most CEOs were enamoured of them. Options conferred potential - sometimes vast - rewards, but spared the recipients any risk, thus giving executives a free ride on the shareholders' capital.
More subtly, Buffett wanted managers whose personal interests were in line with those of the stockholders. A manager who owned options, as distinct from shares had nothing to lose, and those would be more inclined to gamble with the shareholders' capital." From a book review of “Buffet: the making of an American Capitalist” for A
OT but do we get scripts this morning and about what time?
Will we be selling Vazkepa in Germany before the end of the quarter? If not why not?
Are you still in contact with BioBill? if so tell him some of us miss his observations and wish he would still opine from time to time. Also, did you catch the wave in AMC? Seems some of the posters here did. I must have missed that conversation. seem I'm tied and bound to this pig.
I will be dead in 10-15 years.
An opening for AMRN? Maybe KM can capitalize on it.

rafun, due to limited time, I can't read every post so I limit my attention to 10-12 posters. Lately, someone calling himself johngnatt is posting a lot and taking up a lot of space. Is it safe to block him? I need to keep this stream informative and relevant.
Rose, can only say I’m glad I stopped taking atorvastatin several months ago due to nagging muscle pain.Repatha is keeping my cholesterol in the basement so not worried about lack of statin .
