Jrichey, I said the patient is dead not patent
As in bye bye BION
Still has pulse? Seems like the patient died.
Still Nothing? I thought they only had until the end of Feb to submit a plan.
I hope you're right missmula. It's been a long wait for us longs. BION has never failed to disappoint so I have to see it to believe it.
BioNitrogen digging out of bankruptcy?
http://perrynewspapers.com/blog/2016/10/19/bionitrogen-digging-out-of-bankruptcy/
Anyone have access to the full article?
Long, they just said September...they didn't specify what year.
Swikey, this is from a previous post from Jrichey's conversation with the CEO
Aren't we supposed to find out the fate of BION in September?
Investing more, as in buying more common stock, would be unwise.
What's with all the negativity towards the day traders. There's money to be made on BIONQ and so they are making it.
I've been playing the stock since they declared. Made back $1200 so far. Just a fraction of what I will lose but hopefully the stock keeps bouncing around 50-100% for awhile and I can get back more.
Better than sitting around crying over spilled milk. Some of you are acting like you didn't know this was a risky pinky startup investment.
Also it's pretty funny to see Roni pat himself on the back when if he is who he claims to be then he is one of the biggest losers out of this.
Peafunke, that's because it's the first time they've smelled blood in the water. It always attracts them.
Gatorlady, For all of your posts I've never seen you post anything informative. You've just dug up old news and stated your skepticism & speculation about BION and ultimately admitted that you want BION to fail. All of the regular posters on here have been following for years and are well aware of BION's past and that this is a pink sheet startup company which by definition is a very risky investment.
As annoying as he is I can at least give Roni credit for bringing the Annon case to light on this board.
Swikey, they are looking for money...
http://www.bizjournals.com/southflorida/news/2015/11/04/bionitrogen-holdings-files-chapter-11-bankruptcy.html
Peafunke, the childish types of posts Roni has been making the last week or two have me convinced he is not RF or BK. Just a standard troll bashing a stock like you see on most stock message boards.
GatorLady, I'll wait to hear more info before drawing any conclusions. The address of Houston based company mentioned in the article is a residential address. Something seems amiss.
https://www.google.com/maps/place/2401+McDuffie+St,+Houston,+TX+77019/@29.7445139,-95.4078875,3a,75y,82h,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sxf5Fg8OvY5nadIvVy2qzCg!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo0.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26output%3Dthumbnail%26thumb%3D2%26panoid%3Dxf5Fg8OvY5nadIvVy2qzCg%26w%3D374%26h%3D75%26yaw%3D82%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D120%26ll%3D29.744514,-95.407887!7i13312!8i6656!4m2!3m1!1s0x8640c096effe4dd5:0x98dc42b5c5b24c01!6m1!1e1
Roni, if what you say is true...you're screwed.
Not sure what the argument is here.
BION has made a lot of progress over the last couple of years.
BION has had a lot of serious setbacks recently and nobody can say it is looking good at the moment.
Both are true, there's no reason to argue about it.It's a penny stock, none of you know with certainty what's going to happen. Only time will tell. Buy, Hold, Sell...it's your choice.
Gatorlady, it's not about waiting for a "truthful" date. This is the way it goes for pink sheet startup companies...delays delays delays followed by either success or failure. That's why the simple rule is don't invest any money on a startup penny stock that you aren't prepared to lose.
So your rational is that BION will lose everything to Annon and then settle with you? Which would give you nothing because BION would be worth nothing.
Or for some magical reason Annon would give up all the progress BION has made and instead give you the intellectual property/patents and let you start all over with a new company?
The judge just denied BION's motion to vacate the default. BION has 10 days to appeal. Even if the appeal is denied that doesn't settle the case. As the judge stated in the ruling "this case is ripe for adjudication", meaning settlement in court. That will take a long time.
Roni, this does not mean BION is losing their intellectual property to Annon. If it did you wouldn't be so happy because it would leave you with nothing...if you are who you claim to be.
That is a very encouraging press release. My spidey sense feels a nice bounce in the sp coming.
6 weeks ago tbh.
lol $12 worth of shares traded today.
Why would a company have multiple share classes, and what are super voting shares?
Roni, how do they dilute us if they can't be traded?
TFletcher, it certainly does appear that this is a move to prevent anyone from taking over by accumulating a majority of common shares. Perhaps this is related to the anon case????
If I'm reading it right there is no dilution occurring because these aren't new shares being issued and they can't be converted to common shares. Is that right?
BION has already negotiated long term deals for biomass supply and for the purchase of all urea produced. I don't remember the details and don't have time to look them up right now but at least for the next 10 years the cost of NG and biomass should not affect them.
Gatorlady, in La they were approved around 1.5 billion in bonds for 5 plants. BION has not pursued those plants and instead focused on getting the Florida plants built.
They were originally based out of west Texas, Lubbock if I recall correctly. They had some land but abandoned those plans because of the lack of biomass and moved to Florida. I recall they said at the time natural disasters in west Texas are drought which means less biomass possibly for long periods of time. In Florida and Louisiana natural disaster is hurricanes/storms which result in an excess supply of biomass. So it only made sense that they gave up on the idea of a plant in Texas.
I don't believe the new patent will have anything to do with the plants in Florida. The original concept of BION was to build smaller less expensive urea plants that served the general region in which the urea was produced. So I could see the new technology someday being used to build a small plant alongside oil fields to utilize the wasted ng.
I know your skeptical about BION and that's understandable. I've been following BION since 2012 and I can tell you that I don't believe they are a "scam" company. I think they are legit but I will also say that although they have made some good progress they are still in the same position as they were in 2012, a company with a great idea and not enough money to get it done. I think they will ultimately succeed which is why I own stock but I (and everyone else on this board) understand that startups are risky bets.
Dear BioNitrogen
On May 5th Carlos Contreras released a letter titled "Dear BioNitrogen Shareholder" in which he stated:
"I want to assure you that we will keep you informed of our progress and developments as we take our Company to the next level."
It's now the end of July and we are still waiting for you to keep us informed. A little information would be nice, even if it isn't good news we would appreciate it. You don't have to worry about crashing the stock price with less than wonderful updates as that has already happened.
Sincerely,
BioNitrogen Shareholder
Has anyone contacted BION and asked WTH is going on with the complete lack of communication.
What about the 5 million loan from Taylor. Is that money gone? I remember it was only available to pay to vendors with county approval not for day to day operations.
I'm hoping that the lack of announcements from the company means that the next announcement will be a big one.
I'm still in for the ride but it's a bumpy ride down a dirt road and my ass is starting to hurt. Wish they would get onto a smooth paved road.
Those things may me true but it is still pretty ridiculous how silent BION has been about anything relating to the company.
It's time again to ask...
What are your expectations for BION this month as far as sp & news?
Ask is at .05....Hope that holds.
Very interesting Codaras. Strange that I feel more optimistic than ever and more frustrated than ever at the same time.
There definitely seems to be an effort to keep the sp low. For what reason idk. I seem to recall someone saying that BK had options at 6 cents which expired sometime in June...maybe that is the reason??????
I've given up trying to tell what is a good/bad sign. Instead of "show me the money" I just wake up everyday thinking "SHOW ME THE EPC!".
