The real global number will likely be 800k to 1.25 mil Passports worldwide during the first month.
Original backorders have now shipped, and Amazon is taking more orders.
BB 10.3 is big deal, and allows you to run Android apps, so it replaced my Note 2 already.
Blackberry Blend is fantastic... using it on my pc's as well as ipad.
Once again, you are making my point.
I just switched my Note 2 for the Blackberry Passport, and know of many others that just replaced their entire departments with Passports.
They were sold out... but even taking aside the phones.... You OBVIOUSLY know nothing about the company.
Look at the breakup book value. Trust me, this portfolio is pretty damn safe. lol.
Between Patents, the billions in cash on hand, inventory at liquidation prices and other assets, you have a value of about $7 to $8 a share conservatively. This does not even put any valuation on enterprise value.
The time to short it... was back over $100. Shorting it right now, is as stupid as your knowledge of your knowledge.
Btw, My passport runs Google Android apps JUST FINE. =)
Your 3 posts today tell me all I need to know about you.... you are either...
1. A clueless trader, who does not know about the company he has money tied into... in which case, please do your legit homework. or
2. You are just a short who is caught upside down and is now trying his hardest to convince others to short too... in which case... go pound sand, your arguments are quite flawed, and if you cannot articulate your point with FACTS, and have to result to sophomoric behavior, just do everyone a favor and leave... or at the very least, let me hit ignore.
I have NO money tied to BBRY, nor any of my clients.... I am a owner of a number of blackberry devices and services, I am just trying my best to educate people like yourself and hopefully prevent you and other from losing money by being ignorant.
Fortunately it has not. Surprisingly. Although I think we are learning to expect data breaches as the norm. lol.
... just your uneducated, personally tainted opinion? Sure.
I would of taken you more seriously had you not posted that you have seen the new "Blackberry Calculator".
If you do not give the Passport any credit for being a damn good step.... you are a misinformed sheep. Fact is, every single person who saw my Passport in the last few days, has been extremely pleased and impressed.
Hey all, joining here, looking at getting into BBRY, chart is lining up fine, and after playing with my new Passport.... I think the fundamentals are getting better.
RBC covers VIP, Outperform Rating.

Yandex is a really fantastic company, a market leader. Unfortunately in the short term, because of political drama we have depressed valuations. Fortunately, it is a great opportunity to pick up a great company at amazing valuations. Really is a story of the baby being thrown out with the bath water.
This is just like 2007, but for Russian equities.
Personally I am long RSX, as well as individual holding in Yandex and Vimpelcom. One of each, growth and value plays. I may even pick up Mechel if I divest some of my European holdings.
Think of it this way, Yandex should do well anyway, even if there are sanctions or heaven forbid the crisis in Ukraine gets worse.
Has Val done anything at all, ever, that is a step in the right direction for this company that looks nothing more than a scam?
Breaking out

Here is a RSX covered call idea.

Russian Covered Call Ideas, VIP, RSX
The chart on VIP looks pretty darn good, liking it, and I do own it outright in my 401k account. Will likely buy some in the money calls anyway as they are quite cheap.
The Covered Call contender is actually RSX, the Russian ETF.

Overall, while a 5% or so gain, the annualized return is quite good. October numbers on annualized basis just a bit lower.
Alternatively, this should work well on a Calendar Spread basis. That is you buy a longer term, in the money call, and write a shorter, high strike against it.
Howdy Folks! To the 5 Followers left. =P
Been swamped with everything else going on, in my financial services business and otherwise. Was away but now seeing some good ideas coming up for covered calls so will throw some up here.
Got a great success story with one of my clients that I will share too.
Holding up pretty well so far. I like it. Will likely be a longer term hold for me. Beeline in russia is pretty good. Still a lot of growth avail.
Will look to start covered call writing against it.
Another pump and dump piece. lol. I think it should be mandatory that every promoter must BUY with their own money shares which they cannot sell for 6 months.
How much were you paid for your pump and dump piece? I really hope you were not crazy enough to buy the stock.
A fool and their money are soon parted.
Yikes... not paying off so far...
I would seriously consider your position especially since the chart is pointing to the up side right now.
Why would it not be true? You think the Palm Coast/Flagler County Tax Assessor blatantly put up wrong information?
=)
yet he cant pay $4500 or so back taxes on the "corporate" location and the only tangible, real thing otow had... the store.
What is your reasoning behind it?
What price? what strike? date?
I am quite the opposite and would be buying shares, or writing those puts.
Right now, Russia is one of the best values on stocks. What you see on the tv is just the media playing on people's greeds.
You have to be selective, for instance... do you think that anything that may happen will stop people from flying russian airlines?
Paying for cell phones?
Going on Yandex?
Stopping all use of the internet?
In reality, you have a bigger issue with the US and European stock markets, due to very high valuations.
Yes, Russia may experience a technical recession, but the stock market is way ahead of it... already extremely cheap on a valuations level. The Micex exchange, that is the russian stock market is trading at a PE of 4.46.

Think about that.
So it is an affiliate program basically. lol.
What a crock of...
I guess I can say.... if I signed up for affiliate program with american express....
XXXX is proud to announce a partnership with American Express. blah blah blah.
In the short time I have been following this flee of a penny stock... the business model changed how many times?
First it was internet for everyone, then it was tablets and cell phone service, then it was just the phones, now some stupid network and a rebadged app... and of course, can't forget the services in central america or wherever they claim to have offices.
Lastly, if is indeed a partnership, what does it tell you about the company who CHOSE to partner with Val? who partners with a UPS Store mailbox who can't afford a few thousand dollars for back property taxes on their ONLY legitimate looking operation.
A fool and their money are soon parted.
You are new to pump and dumps, arent you?
The whole point, a lot of the so called business expenses are nothing more than his life.
Why get a job when you have gullible people who will buy newly issued shares.
Seriously, $33k in sales? lol.
I ran a cell phone store in the past, I have visited and met with Val (did not tell him about forum, etc... just a business guy interested in cell phones.), I have visited the corporate offices. There is no evidence that tells me he cares about making it a huge company.
He will lose?!?! I don't think he lost.
He used your money, and other investors' money to fund and pay for his lifestyle. All "business" expenses.
what o2 phone?
THERE WERE NONE. It is all a joke.
What is the story now anyway? There is none. There is no operating business.
Now before anyone says international....
If the corporate offices were closed and now a ups mailbox... who is to say there is ANYTHING in south america?
Has anyone gone to see it?
The business keeps changing as often as I change my underwear. This is a pump and dump.
That's because he needs to continue to sell the dream to get people who are public to support him on the forums. Otherwise... all downhill.
I have yet to hear anything from him to try to prove me wrong, that this is NOT a scam.
Like rest of Russian stocks.... After Malaysia 17. Sold off from near $10.
I will be adding more.
And what is a stock? An investment in the company.
Why would anyone believe someone who has shown zero revenue? None.... At all. Ok... Negligible revenue.
My wife makes more teaching people to knit and crochet once every two weeks for crying out loud.
Might as well go to the bank, take out money, buy a shredder, and shred those crisp bills you earn. At least this way you will know where your money goes as an investor.
Put it on YouTube and make money from ads. :)
Some plans as in what? Issue more shares, dilute even more?
I have MET Val.
I have VISITED the CLOSED store.
I have VISITED the store when it was open, and it was a joke.
I have Visited the "corporate office" which is a mailbox at a UPS Store.
A long time ago, ok... like 12 years ago, I was blind and stupid and invested in a pump and dump... fell in love with the story.... don't be so naive.
OTOW is a story, and more likely, just a guy paying his way through life at other people's expense.
If Val wants to prove me wrong and actually discuss a business plan, I would be more than happy to hear it... but ask yourself... (this is for anyone invested or thinking of investing in this...)
Is this more likely a scam/pump and dump? or
A very good company who cannot catch any breaks...? (or care to pay a very small property tax bill for their corporate headquarters).
Cough... Bs......cough.
More fluff.
That is quite possible. Insiders want to sell at the peak. =)
We will see.
Analysts and the underwriters made it $24. The market took it up to $48. Something is off.
Ended up selling shares mid $42. On l3. bought ipo, done with the ride. =)
so just wondering...
who is long this dog?
I think he is implying that otownetwork is a scam.
I use the action cameras, but my personal one is a competitor of GoPro. =) My friends do use a lot of the go pros.
The big ones are Contour and Shift.
I have the shift, that I use to place where I would not want to stand... =)
Yay, look at this very first post, self promoting.
Based on what? Are you short? If so, why is today a sweet close?
Do not understand.
Maybe it is just because I am in financial services I try to view things from a balanced approach, however making statements such as "looking down" or "going up" without anything to substantiate your opinion adds ZERO value to the overall discussion.
If you are a bull, but want to get back in in the 30's, that may or may not happen. If you are a bull and you are currently out, just buy now, if you think stock is going to $100, what difference will $4 make?
If you are a bear, are you currently short and now just hoping it goes down? If so, based on what? It may or it may not. =)
The reality of this is... we have to wait for the IPO effect to wear off and for people to start looking at this without the ipo goggles. They have not yet reported as a public company. The fight is ultimately about valuations...
If this is a hardware company, it is grossly overvalued based on earnings.
If this is a media company... it is then just frothy unless you think the earnings, but in the short term revenue will increase exponentially.
Time will tell.
I will say, I personally and professional prefer GoPro over Facebook, Twitter, Pandora, Groupon and others.
Have not looked at volumes or spreads yet today.... But I suspect the ask is just that, no idea if it would get filled. Covered call is the way I would play it so far. :).
I would actually be writing the options.
The premiums initially will be quite rich , and well... Stock is near double from ipo.... I can't see less risk to downside than up.
And why is that? Give some actual reasons.....
