This is big. This shows that the CEO is confident.
The market makers must be biting their nails what boring last two weeks they have had. I bet they are longing for some normal dumping action.
Jim Rogers
You've said that there's unlikely to be an economic crash like famed short-seller, Jim Chanos, and others are forecasting.
JR: That's not right. What I've said is that China is the next great country in the world. There'll certainly be setbacks along the way.
In the 19th century as America was rising to power, it had 15 depressions, a horrible Civil War, massacres in the streets and little in the way of human rights. And yet, America turned out to be pretty successful.
China will have setbacks along the way. I have no idea what, when, why or how. But China is the largest creditor nation in the world and if and when they have setbacks, I would rather be investing money with creditor nations such as China than debtor nations.
I have frequently said that we'll have people in the real estate business going bankrupt in China because the government is trying to cool off that particular sector. But on the other hand, other parts of the Chinese economy will continue to do extremely well.
If you're in agriculture in China, you won't know whether real estate speculators in Shanghai are going broke because you'll be too busy making money yourself.
I have not traded since 2012 in this one for me this is one holding.
I don't think they are cooked. The books are just not well presented.
Yes there is no fundamental change going to Nasdaq or bond financing or stock buy back. Don't stress your selfs out by this. Focus on what RD is doing and figure out the value and the rest will fall in place. We have a 60% free-float, I e if some retail decide to rebalance it will affect the trading.
There are around 80 company's traded in the us with the same confidence problems many of them have already been priced for not filling coherent data or in some cases criminal fillings. The basket is very interesting at this moment when the last optimist has left the segment and i foresee a shift in the coming next two years. Every new business have a learning curve and so does this one.
What you should try to understand is that JoeN is a person that no one should pay attention to regarding SIAF. That since he's only argument is, clamming loosing 30 thousand dollars by not receiving the correct date in 2010 for when auditing would start. He is ambitious and in some way admirable but in this case just plain wrong.
Peace lol I am very liberal despite my age and all for ideas. SIAF is legit.
This LLEN debate doesn't belong here on SIAF board unless this point is made. LLEN have deceived investors by filling false data and know SIAF never done this.
Stay away if you trade, trade only intraday!
Yeah Joe you keep my awake too. this is thrilling, you just gave me a cliff hanger.
That would not be a deal in my book then!
You can go to Vegas and discuss wether to bet on black or red.
This is how I think this will play out! The investor base I very fragile at the moment and will remain so until All Therese retail investors are in the green, I.e +dollar. If the company can achieve a turnaround on its creative financing and completely stop with all kinds of accounting creativity's then we would get capital investments that would recognise the risk reward potential. That is what I think will happened!
The current market cap is around 60 million dollars and the enterprise value at about the same, not going into details. I would advise not to rush into conclusions and sell at this level if you not are overexposed to this sector. The air can only be seen at the last line. The last line will soon show cash I think.
That is just an plain stupid argument! Are you at all experienced or not?
This is the most fun investment I ever made and this board is great. And JOE you are still not disclosing your facts about why you are so negative. I would get it if you could make money on the down side but you can't at this point!
I just love the action around this company it is a gem and I think it will reward me big time!
Hi I will not make it to Charlotte but if you get the chance I would like to know how SIAF handle their trade finance and if they have any prospect of being connected to their banks trade finance platform. What bank are they using? I also would like to know how the handle the cash from the restaurants do they bank cash every day? Are all other transactions via bank payments? Can they ask the auditour to disclose one quarter of bank transactions in thee most significant business in the accountsrecivables?
Thanks
Hi everybody this board is getting very stressed out. I do not want to give you any kind of advise since that is only madness in this sector and country. The company seams to be doing great according to their last audited filling but then again audit ours have a limited work responsibility. What is left is, if you think Solomon is going to run with your money or stay with his honnor and later deliver the money to you with growth. And yes I think you are correct in some of your opinions; the comp needs a CFO, the prices of meat and shrimps are too high, construction cost too low, production rate too high, and finally the financing is not correctly presented. I invest when I see that the CEO is a good person and the sector and market is right and I still believe this is going to be one of my best decisions investing in SIAF.
How do you know this
"is not a signed contract that is enforceable and that is probably why the S1 is yet to be completed. "
This would not pass the legal revision for SIAF and SIAFs own lawyer could not sign off on this. This document that states the ownership should be registered at the JV province and stamped. Or what am I missing?
Put between 1-5%, not moor, of your capital in this one and follow the company you will learn allot and as I think also be rewarded.
Paint job on the down side today?!
Don't be so short minded Joe they are trying to do something good, providing ecological food to its people. Sometimes capitalism is not only about making money. The capital can sometimes be warm, compelling and understanding. Look at Bill Gates. Don't get your fingers burned Joe!
I have the feeling we are close to a bond deal sweetened with stocks on top and therefor the trading as you see it. Highly speculative post by me and I do not know!
Empty yes, I agree but look at the sector look at the country and you will find it risky. This deal is significant. Because now we have locals connected to SIAF and hopefully HK based investor investors, in my book that one major event.
Common empty you are sitting on a golden egg. Give the man a break we just received news about the larges aquaculture development in the world. Buy what you can hold an sign out. Look again every Christmas!
Yes, If I disregard DD and the time it takes I hold very likely that the offer of the convertible bond will be filled with this big project news. What we need to know though is the HK investors and the where the capital comes from.
What if Glory Ocean is allowed to buy the stock now that the contract has been disclosed?
That is the vehicle for HK investors as I see it not a real counterpart. I asked IR to clarify if possible but I guess they have to wait for the signatures.
I do not think so I have one friend at blueyou.com a Dr in aquaculture and I recommended SIAF to them but if SIAF at the moment only intend to sell in china there is no rush. Except for a technical DD that the market needs.
Yeah I refer to Clayton on this one I hold it for likely that the vehicle is this dormant company in HK and now with new owners and invested in by PE firms and PP. Let's wait and se. Joe stop your meaningless posting please!
Great news today Solomon is showing he can deliver this is the most important news for SIAF in years and a turning point. Good job everyone!
The thing is! I invest because I do not think the CEO have any plans to go dark or deceive investors. The market prices the stock like its is a 90 % probability. If you do a DD it is impossible to end up at any good investment grade on this one and therefor the valuation.
Well Andrew you made your point the comp needs to prove it self in manny ways but what do you think is the correct value right now?
Great volume today this is a good sign!
How can you be sure about that?
How would the clearing work in this kind of scam. Just wonder if you have an idea. Has this happened recently over the nearest say 5 years? How would they manage the dividend? Just saying its not very believable.
Good post Randal, on the spot very dense!
