Hey Buddy, how is it going ?
Looks like gold has had life breathed back into it lately.
lol... morgan Stanley and goldman sachs are telling people not to worry about china LOL

"Thirty-five out of 45 major country stock indexes had fallen by 20% or more as of Friday", according to a count by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
I checked goldman's insider selling about $50M worth of stock cashed in with about 25 separate sales...
guess who had the most... if you guessed that prick who was on cnbc Friday morning telling investors to chill out that everything is fine (in so many words) then you would have guessed right. lol
I got out completely at the end of august...

I was looking at the ihub 5yr gold chart for 2011-12, that is when everyone was gaga for gold with morgan stanley pumping & dumping while releasing prs that it could go as high $2.4k per oz.
You see what it did. My question is did it make it to $1900. I really could not tell from the chart.
I don't think it did, think it's high was $1883 in 2011 when the bubble popped.
goldman sachs, morgan stanley and ubs pumped it back slightly over $1800 in 2012.... They dumped what they had left, then shorted it once they saw the gold rush had topped in 2011. gold was already on its way back to $1k per oz by the end of 2011.
That was slick,
A Robbery in broad daylight by 3 Banks. That's ok though, those (3 Pooor Financial Giants needed that money) so they took it from investors.
Remember Phil Gramm saying that we want our money back when he was running for president.
Phil became a vice president for UBS, it's good to know that at least Phil Got his money back... and investor's money also.
There is much more to phil gramm's shenanigans than people realize.
....check out this article published january 1, 2012...
1-11-12
"Both Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have confirmed that Gold is one of their top picks for 2012 while UBS has put a target that represents over 50% in gains from current levels."
By using the word (Confirmed)... how many people do you think it suckered into buying ?

Nokia Dives Into Virtual Reality With OZO Camera
Nokia unveils OZO, a new, ball-shaped camera, which can capture virtual reality content
Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) plans to mark its return to consumer space with a novel virtual reality (VR) offering. According to ABC News, the once-dominant handset maker unveiled OZO, a camera to record content to be displayed by VR technologies.
OZO is shaped like a ball, and has eight cameras, shutter sensors, and microphones, which enable users to capture 360 degrees video content via synchronization. The new VR camera can make its captured images and videos operable with existing VR technologies and headsets, such as Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) Oculus Rift.
The new camera captures images and videos in 3D, and can make displayable VR content creation significantly easy. Previously, making a virtual reality film could be a lengthy procedure, as various images needed to be connected and stitched together to achieve the 3D effect.
Of all tech companies,
Nokia is the first one to come up with a VR camera.
In 2013, the company sold its handset business to Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) for $7.5 billion, with only 3 units left. Since the takeover, this is the first hardware that Nokia plans to launch itself.
It should be noted that such a VR offering is not a common consumer’s regular buy. A technology such as this will be expensive, and is probably not aimed at the regular audience. The target consumers will be most likely rather limited, compared to Nokia’s hardware offerings’ history.
Nokia has yet to disclose the exact specifications, pricing information, and the official release date. It is known that shipments are expected to commence in 4Q, and that further tests will be conducted with professionals, prior to the commercial release.
With OZO, the company probably aims to bridge the gap in the VR space, where technology to display VR content is abundant, but content is insufficient.
OZO may be intended for normal consumers to develop VR content for their own use, or for large scale developers.
However, a more plausible explanation is that Nokia has aimed this offering for high-end content developers, such as Hollywood filmmakers, and global game-makers.
Given the gadget’s functions, OZO will fit perfectly in studios, and would also be affordable by large-scale businesses.
Although it is exciting to see that Nokia will unveil high-tech hardware after years, we don’t particularly believe that OZO would prevail in the market, since there is massive competition on way.

Ahhh, I see. You are speculating on Domains. I use to have 14, only 2 now. It got to be expensive holding them. I never really tried to market them. Was told that the best way to sell them was to run a website under them.

"The Old, Innovative Nokia Is Back"
Jul 29, 2015 3:31 PM EDT
By Leonid Bershidsky
Soon after Microsoft wrote off the entire value of the handset business it had acquired from Nokia, the Finnish company is unexpectedly back with an innovative consumer product.
Nokia Ozo, a sphere with camera lenses protruding from it, is refreshingly out of left field.
It's billed as "the first commercially available virtual reality (VR) camera designed and built for professional content creators and the first in a planned portfolio of digital media solutions." Nokia -- or any company -- has never made anything like it. And it's designed and made in Finland.
The development is intriguing and potentially important.
Finland could even regain its tech champion if Nokia succeeds in the nascent virtual-reality market.

I have a poster advertising that movie.
do you know html ? what were you going to do with domain
It made me chuckle
I don't and won't own an of mjmj unless they R/S and get the share count down to a reasonable #. However, the good thing for you guys is that it seems to be consolidating. You never really know with any security regardless of what exchange it trades on. I got my hat handed to me in 2005 with a stock trading on the AMEX when trading was halted by the SEC because of an insider trade after a false claim in a PR by the company. I kinda lost my arse in a big way. At least you do not have an SEC halt in trading with MJMJ. It's regulated. If you were to double with this, it might be wise to take your initial investment and ride free shares in case the bottom completely drops out. Not telling how to trade just making a suggestion is all just in case.
I don't understand what the buzz would have been about in the chat room over ECIG, I was actually being sarcastic. It did an R/S
and anyone that held through the split were most likely disappointed because it went right back down. With the exception of those that were short of course.
Anyway, for everybody that is Long here I wish the best of luck with it.
'pippylongstockings', Good Luck To You !
Keep me updated on how this one is working out for you.
I don't come to ihub as often anymore but I would be interested to know your thoughts about mary jane (mjmj) in 2 or 3 months.
Did you happen to get in on ECIG before it listed on the big boards When it was still in the sub-pennies ? I missed it.
WoW, you are right. I don't know what I was thinking.
You should buy more as quickly as possible before the HILLTON or MOTEL-6 discovers the MaryJane Group.
Have a good game, and try not to hurt yourself.
Do you know how many shares were traded at $12 ?
Only 300 shares Total..... Three Hundred Shares !
you can find this in the historical prices on the yahoo or nasdaq site.

I just don't get it. Isn't recreational use of pot legal in Colorado ?
Why would I pay more than the price of a 5 star Hotel to stay in a 2 star MOTEL, now called a bud and breakfast HOTEL, in a state where I can already legally buy and smoke pot.
You can stay at the (5-Star) RADISON HOTEL in Colorado Springs for ($88 Per Night).
Take a look at the photo of the ceo shown on this board.
It's a photo of a man appears to be so stoned that he is on the verge of passing out at any moment.
WOWIE, THE (2-STAR) BUD AND BREAKFAST HOTEL EVEN OFFERS A FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.... JUST LIKE THE 2-STAR SUPER-8 MOTELS ($45 PER NIGHT).
A free Continental breakfast consist of a box of donuts and a bowl FRUIT LOOPS, (WHILE THEY LAST). And of course FREE COFFEE.
Do you think that the CEO might have been smoking some quality bud when this brilliant idea Magically Manifested between his ears ?
why isn't mjmj in the top 10 most active boards today, I thought bud and breakfast was the next big thing.
there is a very good board that made top ten most active today that mjmj players who are relatively new to unregulated mkts (otcbb & pinksheet mkt).
Extended promotional articles such as your lengthy post of 'bud and breakfast" sounded very familiar.
here is a direct quote taken from a very good ihub research board that all mjmj investors should read.
"Pumpers only tell you to hold stocks because they want to make sure you hold longer than them.
They make money by pumping the stock and getting other people to buy then dumping their shares on the followers.
If you really want to take the risk of trying to make money trading pink sheet companies then you have to understand how the game works and never ever hold long term - take profits when you can."

I was listening to a financial radio program and an analyst spoke as though it was a given that a .025% interest rate hike by the fed was a given in June or September.
However, Job #s (jobs created last month) showed a decline. The analyst (don't remember her name), made that statement prior to the release of the job #s.
I don't know if that would have made any difference in her opinion if she had those #s when she stated that an interest rate hike would occur in June or September this year.
I still think that the fed will not mess with interest rates this year because I don't think we are completely out of the woods in recovering from the 2007-08 bear.
Will just have to wait and see what happens.
Yes an interest rate hike is definitely something to keep an eye on but I think that we are safe for 2015. We have been in a bull mkt for over 6 years now and are one quarter into the 7th year. There has never been over a 6 year bull mkt. This is uncharted waters and we are overdue a correction.
A rate hike could signal a 180 degree turn for the mkt.
I think the fed wants to make sure that the economy is on Rock Solid Ground before tweaking it with an interest rate hike.
Just my opinion, so don't do anything based on it.

I think that you are right Gator...
And Thanks guys: Moderators cha-ching, gators1381, vapork for staying on top of this and keeping us informed.
Welcome back Silvernick, great entry point. And welcome to the new posters also.
As for myself this quarter results were no surprise.
When I put some money in this, it was based on the speculation that the merger would go through and continued growth of e-cig/vaporizer mkt.
There were several other variables that influenced my decision.
-Positive analyst comments about Vaporin.
-The fact that I could see the growth of the e-cig/vape mkt on the ground everywhere tobacco products were sold and increasing shelf space being allotted to e-cig/vape products in those high traffic areas.
-The fact that the combination of vpco/vapo are tapping into those high traffic areas with Brick&Mortar establishments.
And there are others.
-The kicker was Gator's information that he provided the board concerning VAPO insiders.
--After researching them and their investment histories, VPCO
seemed to be the clear long term choice to take advantage of the growing e-cig/vaporizer mkt.
Everything was dependent on the merger taking place, and
We Got It !

Excellent, you have been collecting divs on this since Oct 2010 !
If you add those up, you may be ahead on your entry price.
Have you taken that into account Hardknox1 ?
If you are not, I bet that you are close to it.
The quarterly cash flow from the divs goes a long way to help me to maintain a comfortable living that I would not have using other financial investments.

Yeah Sweatleaf, I hear you. Working on other things of late but I am still Bullish on this stock. Why?
First and foremost is Driverless/ Driver assisted vehicles. The Fact that Nokia Products were used in the Mercedes Benz Driverless vehicle sucessfully tested about a year and a half ago on highway & in city traffic for well over 50+ miles convinced me that Nokia was a long term hold. (see below)
Regardless of what analyst write, Pro or Con Nokia.
My dd is posted w/ sources is posted below since I first entered the stock.
I will be glad to discuss the stock but I do not visit the boards daily.
The patent for the self charging graphene based battery of Nokia's was absolutely jaw dropping. It's public information yet NOTHING was picked by any news org. I had to sift through Nokia's hundreds of patent applications to find it.

Nothing to get excited about in the mkt today for me. nok, exel, vpco all red today, nymt closed green by a hair or 4. Over reaction to spat in between Yemen and the Saudis. Oil companies looking for an excuse to recover some losses and finally got it.
I don't see the mkt down for long due to the conflict. could be wrong, Have been more times than I would like to admit.
membermarked you Dude, reciprocation mudho appreciated if you care to.
Something funny under the news for BABA. Check out obstacles delivery drones are going to face.
"Delivery Drones face obstacles such as bad weather, ANGRY BIRDS and GUN-TOTING Delivery Drone Opponents." lol

You don't think that one of his hackers @ thestreet hijacked my website and sent spam from it and then called my webhost to get them to take my site down for tos violations do you ?
The webhost took it offline yesterday after the mkt closed. I did not find out until this morning.
It is going to be 24-72 hours before they can fix it and get it back online.
ARE THEY THAT PETTY over at doofus' site ?
Surely they are not that unscrupulous.

No I am not a sewer rat lol. But I know of one that somebody taught to say booyahhh.
They should but that will never happen. The only thing that you can do is point it out to other investors when (lil yimmie) pulls that stuff.
Today, the little weasel (lil' yimmie cramer) said: I like the Biotech Sector, but explained that shortly after big moves to the upside, those stocks tend to underperform.
Nasdaq Biotech Index IBB has gone from about $225 in May14' to $360 today. Temporary pullbacks are typical with any stock/index after making a new high, Most always. That is nothing new.
