Ideas Conference from my view and responses to all that replied to JB. I have limited posts so I will and answer everything in this post
I think that JB's view of the conference and our conversations with Dr. Menon, Dr. Holden, and Dr. Kumar was very similiar to mine.
All 3 of them diplayed an overall quiet confidence & excitement in how not only the Trial was progressing, but how Cellceutix was moving on all fronts. All 3 were willing to engaged in conversation and talk about not only Kevetrin but anything Cellceutix. As Dr. Holden talked about in the Presentation they all were deeply saddened from the loss of Dr. Frei and talked about how lucky they were to work so close with him.
They (like all of us) are waiting for the results of the P21 test. I agree with JB about his take on this. They seemed happy with the way the trial was going and understand that delays happened and they are looking forward to the results also. Dr. Menon explained that when doing the test with animals everything is much more controlled and much easier to keep on track. In animals everything can happened like clockwork in reference to dosing and testing. It does not happened this way in a human trial. They are constantly checking with how the patient is feeling and act accordingly. These are sick people and they deserve the best treatment possible.
They also explained how the chemo and radiation is like bombing the cancer and damaging many innocent bystanders. Very similar to The Progressive SA Article and how Kevetrin goes in and retrains the cells on how to fix themselves.

Petermantx.... In refece to the stock price I agree. When I left the conference and check on the SP (down .18 at the time) I was first shocked and them quickly felt calm because these short term fluctuations have no effect on my long term view. I just left a conversation that increased my long term confidence in Cellceutix.
Cabel.... No one asked about Leo not being there except for JB. They said he had a scheduling conflict that he could not change. I for one was expecting to see Leo (just my thought going into it) not Dr. Menon at the conference and I was surprised to see Dr. Menon when he walked in the door. He was very engaging from the start. We talked for a few minutes before the presentation and again after. I did not take it as a positive or a negative to the fact that Leo was not there. I take it as he had a conflict and could not make it.
farrell90.... All three Dr. were well aware of the asset of having KARD labs relationship to CTIX. Dr. Holden actually mentioned in conversation how "CTIX is a lean mean machine". Not only in reference to Kard, but with the Advisory Board that they have assembled. CTIX does seem to have a bright future with the current pipeline and the possible future compounds.
Tails....The overall interest level of the attendees I am not sure. The presentations were 1/2 long and we left the room right after CTIX, hoping to talk more with the DR.'s.
Steelyeye..... The "Tone" as I said above a quiet confidence. And I would add a genuine passion for there work.
Met up with grayhound this morning at the IDEAS Conference. We were fortunate enough to speak with Dr. Menon, Dr. Holden, and Dr. Kumar for 15 or 20 minutes after the presentation.
I am very impressed by these individuals. They appeared to be confident and energetic. Dr. Holden is now a full time CTIX employee. Dr. Kumar is a full time Kard Scientific employee along with 80-90 others.
Dr. Menon is aware of the Breakthough Therapy Designation given to ScioDerm after a Proof of Concept trial (see post 30099). He said this is our plan for Prurisol should things work out.
Ctix has a new anti-cancer drug that has shown "remarkable early results".
Kevetrin is one of about 30 anti-cancer compounds that CTIX has tested. Dr. Menon said it's still too early to tell whether Kevetrin will work best alone or in conjunction with other drugs. He said that Kevetrin started out as a drug to be used along with radiation. Then, thanks in large part to Dr. Kumar, evolved into what it is today. The doctors stressed how revolutionary Kevetrin is, in that it restores the body's ability to fight cancer.
They are eagerly awaiting the p21 data release and hope it will happen soon. We couldn't get much more than that, except, Dr. Holden said the scientific community likes to do things in 3's. I interpreted that to mean data from 3 cohorts.
Today was a great experience!
