Can anyone with level II verify if the remainder of an order is siting at ASK for 44K shares?...been almost 40 minutes now.
Why so hard to get filled? PPS ASK has dropped down to my order at .063 and has yet to fill after 30 minutes now...Not even seeing it on the board??
From Jason's AMBS Zack's Report, 5/22/13, pg. 13
"Amarantus has a relationship with Renishaw through a grant application with the Michael J. Fox Foundation, so it would not surprise us to see Amarantus team up with Renishaw later this year."
Whatever happened to that grant application???Hmmm...
News out..I seem to recall a mention of a MJFF grant application AMBS had submitted in partership with a CED provider...anyone recall where this was mentioned?
http://ir.stockpr.com/amarantus/company-news/detail/924/amarantus-enters-into-letter-of-intent-with-renishaw-for-convection-enhanced-delivery-of-manf-in-parkinsons-disease
The delay is curious. Could be that ceo has seen too many times the pps rise marginally on positive news only to see it drop back due to shorters and weak hands threatened by their impact. Perhaps this time he has been holding back for a bit of "shock and awe" to finally force the covering and establish a solid higher pps level. Due for news filing today of $$ invested by board members in recent funding, lympro results any day, and now this curious follow up to MJFF results... Exciting times ahead IMO.
So hypothetically.... on news the pps goes to .50-60 ...
I'm now up 1000%(this makes me happy)
And then hypothetically a 4:1(not 40:1) rev split is called for to get away from the shorting and manipulation abound on the OTC and to bring in bigger fish.(A move I'm happy about.)
Then, on additional developments/partnerships in the next several years, pps climbs even higher because the science is strong, independently studied, and patent protected. (Also happy about this, too)
Why exactly am I supposed to be dumping my shares today???
Given, the RS would diminish my share, but I'm still a very.....very happy investor.
You really seem stuck on this "blood-brain barrier" topic. Developments are being made to overcome this... regardless, as I understand apoptosis occurs in cells all over the body, not just the brain.
Applications are not limited to brain cells.
"Amarantus Announces Positive Orphan Data for MANF in Retinitis Pigmentosa"
From our perspective, we want the big pharma deal to reaffirm our investment and belief in AMBS...and to drive away the nay-sayers buzzing around....and see the pps climb.
From a business perspective, if you have the $$ available, wouldn't it make more sense to further develop and prove the product so that you can then ask for a larger deal? I would think this is especially true of MANF, given the huge disappointments observed with GDNF this year..
Couldn't it also just be a massive amount of coordinated buy/sells to cover each other's short positions?
Just a question BH..... before you decide to quote a "portion" of my post and add your witty banter.
It is curious that it looks like over 10M shares have dumped since this time yesterday...and the pps is only down about 12% in that time(.068-.06)...
Warning:Pure positive speculation following...
Check out the 1 on 1 meeting schedule for this weekend's conference. An awful lot of AMBS's time has been reserved....only one with more time reserved looks like Stemline(PPS up 250%YTD at $43).
http://www.aegiscapcorp.com/health-care-conference/one-on-one-meeting/
Either a whole bunch of people are interested in private talks with Gerald or he's slated a lot of time to sit at the blackjack tables... your call as to which one.
"Promised?" Do what you need to do, but where/when exactly were we "promised"?
Not saying you are wrong...I may just need to refresh my memory. I remember expected goals being revealed during presentations and a lot of optimistic expectations being laid out here but that's it..
IMO shorts and manipulators are already laying the groundwork for yet another post conference sell-off/beat-down based on another fabricated deadline. This has happened many times over the last few months.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not aware of any correspondence from AMBS indicating news will drop on Saturday. What we have been told is that news is "eminent"....based on end of quarter goals and recent 8k of "BD expects to deliver the final report on this phase of the project in the next 2 weeks."
Wouldn't it be great if Gerald would adopt the under-promise/over-deliver strategy and totally screw those manipulating the pps......report expected news within 2 weeks...and then drop it in 2 days.
I have to disagree.
For those who have been invested here awhile, we have seen way too many times the PPS run-ups on anticipation… only to fall flat. We’ve seen this after conferences, after MJFF grant deadlines, and after 10Q filings. The shorts and MM’s have only helped to exacerbate these situations to further their gains.
Like they say, "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and shame on me." Because of this "bad taste" in many's mouths and the potential of expected news, I'm not so sure that the news is "priced in" this time.
While potentially foolish, I have been continuing to add to my position over the last 8 months to average down. However, I know of several… and expect there are many, many more who will wait on the sidelines for the news to hit this time and then make massive buys to get back in, or increase their stake. Already seeing a few old names pop up here.
Regardless, we are all in for good things. ...question is where you want that entry point to be?
With 8500+ Twitter followers and 600+ on Hub, there are a lot more eyes on this than the few posting here each day.
Agreed. Running into end of month/quarter and a presentation on Saturday afternoon.... I sure as hell wouldn't want to gamble going into a weekend.
Agreed. IMO AMBS is one of the best stocks you could invest in, one of the worst stocks to try and "trade."
There's my 2 posts for the week....out.
AMBS has 8500 twitter followers, over 600 following this discussion....and on this board every day are the same 12 people throwing spitballs back and forth at each other...
Here comes the shake..Yawn.
Unfortunately for them: "MacroGenics and Lilly Ponder Future of Diabetes mAb after Phase III Flop". 21 Oct 2010.
Fortunately for AMBS:Eli Lilly licensed the drug back in 2007 from MacroGenics with a $41 million upfront and a billion dollars pledged for milestones.
Nothing but huge potential here...Patient and confident.
Agreed. But Amarantus's presentation isn't until 4:55pm EST. If there were news to drop, a PR could be issued anytime today or even after market close.
Personally I don't expect it. Any news of "testing going well" or "progressing nicely" will just pop the stock to drop back down...and G knows this. We've all seen the pattern too many times. Only when a deal is struck, will we get the word. IMO
Just my two cents...
1.No indications have been given about BD results..... Except that CEO appointed new advisor focused on commercialization.
2. Today's financing is the continuation of the " bridge financing" that began in June. And it seems rather favorable to AMBS if things "really " start to happen.
3. Now they can sit down at the negotiation table with strength rather than an empty coffer and desparate
Okay, enough "tom-foolery." Time to move up and away.
This volume is fantastic! No one wants to be left behind on a 3 day break leading into the conference.
For those that have been around as long as I(last September)....and those few even longer, way to keep the faith. I've been adding over last few months and have nearly doubled my position and cut my average pps almost in half.
For those holding from last year and just watching, it's not too late to do the same...
Tick tock is right, Boom...I'm still here as well. Never left, just been laying low and ignoring the noise. Been adding to my position last couple months to average down.
Got it.
Sarland's latest results..
93% accurate
95% sensitive
92% specific
It's behind Lympro's results
98% Sensitivity
96% Specificity
With 500,000 new cases expected this year, that 3% difference in sensitivity represents 15,000 individuals testing negative that in fact do have the disease, correct?
And based on 4% variance in specificity, an additional 20,000 individuals being treated for a disease that they in fact don't have.
Check Napodano's credentials... I would think he picked up a little science with degrees in both Chemistry and Bio-chem...as well as the MBA from Wake.
And then spent time working in the research field before he was bitten by the investment bug. He "is/was" a scientist.
When did the updated Lympro whitepaper get posted to the AMBS site? Wasn't it pulled down for awhile for revision?
I've been away from from Hub for a few weeks and haven't seen it mentioned...
"They are addressing the financing situation right now. They raised $250k last week and called it a "bridge loan". You don't do a "bridge loan" unless you have a larger financing in the works. So stay tuned!
-Jason Napodano 6/17/13
I have to agree...
So it was Smoke dropping his 20+ million shares in the last 45 days while everyone was calling out "dilution..dilution!"
Promo states that they were not compensated by AMBS... clearly stated on last line.
If every new face here had even bought $1000 worth, volume would be 3-4 time this so far...
Seems like a lot of talking and not much buying so far by all of the new names in the forum today...
Really clear from posts who bought/added last week and who wish they had...
New announcement details of TBI C4CT conference. Looks like AMBS is new legitimately rubbing elbows with NFL representatives concerning TBI.
http://ir.stockpr.com/amarantus/company-news/detail/754
Attending and presenting at conferenece:
Dr. Robert Cantu, MA, M.D., F.A.C.S., .F.A.A.N.S., F.I.C.S., F.A.C.S.M. (Clinical Professor Department of Neurosurgery and Co-Director Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy, Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA; Senior Advisor to the NFL Head, Neck and Spine Committee; Section Co-Chair Mackey-White National Football League Players Association Traumatic Brain Injury Committee
Been invested here for quite awhile. Real news and progress is being made...it's eminent. I've continued to add over the last few weeks and have brought my average down considerably.
Looking nice today...upward direction. With news, volume should build and really get the pps moving..
AMBS has received MJFF grants in the past, and according to Jason N's article they have at least one pending application partnering with the CED company Renishaw.
In addition, we have yet to here from MJFF about large TPP grant that was to be awarded this month??
"Amarantus has a relationship with Renishaw through a grant application with the Michael J. Fox Foundation, so it would not surprise us to see Amarantus team up with Renishaw later this year."
From Jason's AMBS Zack's Report, 5/22/13, pg. 13
If you think pennies, you get pennies...If you think dollars, you'll get dollars.
Per MJFF CC transcript last Fall regarding timeline of the new Therapeutic Pipeline Program:
Invitations to apply for Stage II of the review process will be sent out no later
than mid-December 2012. At that time, the structure for this Second Stage application will be provided. Stage II applications will be then due on February 6, 2013 and we will then take a month or so to review those applications and expect to announce the awards in May 2013 and to begin funding the grantees in June 2013.
As I've been saying, maybe Amarantus gets it and maybe they don't.
Either way....the bell is about to toll. Who the hell got it?
