Sage advice, I too, printed that out and will refer to
it often. better off to wait Patience is something
I am learning triggered by something you had said in a
conversation with freeus. You had stated there's no need
to hurry. That seemingly simple statement made me step
back and look at the bigger picture and take a harder
look at the chart. (TYC was what I was watching) It looked
toppy to me and sure enough here it is trading at 44 down
from 60ish. Thanks, you saved me some money <gg>

I like the fact that this thread has remained civil
and helpful in the most trying of times. A very good
atmosphere for learning.

And yes I'm still laffing but it might just be borderline
maddness <vbg>

Thanks Reid,

I appreciate the take of someone who's been in the
market longer than I have. Never having been invested
through a bear market, it has been a trying experience
to say the least. The thing is, I truly wanted to be
a LTBHer, just my timing was off. <gg> And yet, the
paper trades I have been trying using TA have been
more profitable. So I have come away with some valuable
lessons I may not have learned otherwise. The market
giveth and the market taketh away. It's odd now,looking
back, in the spring, I kept looking at the charts of
my companies saying (out loud no less) "these charts
look bad, real bad" and yet took no action. I'll know
better next time. Charts don't lie.

Now that all the stars and moons(or whatever else they
measure by) seem to be back in alignment. How many more
Joe Shmoes have to be fed in sacrifice to the market
gods?

Okay, I feel much better now having had my little
vent.<ggg> This shmoe has finally seen that I must
learn to be flexible and go with the flow. Which is
why I'm here. I appreciate your taking the time to
link charts and explain what you see. It has helped
me tremendously in trying to learn TA. You have some
quality posters on this thread as well.
