We need more good attitudes and good news
It was unfortunate that that Peterson guy bashed AONE calling it a bad investment. I was told and followed up on the facts that he is promoting another OTC start stop batterie system which he has a substantial investment in...Peterson would love it if we gave up our positions and buy his stock instead. I am not falling for Peterson's hidden agenda.
I am going to wait this AONE stock out.
Do you know about Petersons background with a competitor of A123 and his large holding in another batterie company?
Nice response to that Peterson article
Thank you John for your reply,
I don't know how the overseas operations which produce battery packs for Black and Decker and Dewalt which are not mentioned as part of the sale of assets can not be producing profits?
Since this is not Chapter 7 as a complete liquidation but a reorganization thru filing Chapter 11, isn't A123 still an ongoing concern? After all the DIP is in place as per court aproval. The HEV automobile battery technology is up for sale as well as government contracts to JC. Isn't it true that A123 said the bankruptcy would be in the best interest for stakeholders. As investors in shares of AONE we are stakeholders.
The petition to keep AONE listed was on Oct 19th orally in court. If the stock was to be delisted the SEC would have discontinued trading on October 25th. So it seems the Judge has approved the continuation of trading. I am still holding my investment in AONE even though I bought a few weeks before bankruptcy declaration.

Here is a great article on why we need A123 to stay in business. Grid storage is the future for power companies backup.

Insiders must file an 8k for past selling...volume doesnt match the individual corporate share holdings look at GE they have 9 million shares and no 8k for any sales.
Please give us the newspage with this info!
insiders holding im holding
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/aone/insider-trades the last sell of insiders was one month ago for 20000 shares at .2526
GE has not sold? One fund sold out before BK declaration, thats it.
Reminder A123 has assets that are overseas operations that are not under the jurisdiction of US BK court. Perry Coleman's article is correct there is value to shareholders in this case. Every bankruptcy case is different and this is a chapter 11 case not a complete liquidation of assets in a chapter 7 case.
August 8 the 10q report had shareholders equity at over 100m. Once a company sells of an asset that is a liabilty it streamlines to focus on its strengths. AONE has value. If you read the negative article from Peterson it has done a good job of bashing our stock. One trader mentioned that Peterson may have his own agenda...
I have been following this company for a long time and bought the stock as an investment. When WNR Western Refining bottomed in 2010 they had a debt of 1 billion with less than 250 million cash. They sold off their Virginia refinery and have reorganized into a strong company expanding their refineries that were not producing at a loss. Since then their stock rose 500 percent!
GE they bring good things to life! They hold shares in AONE, I wonder when they step in>>>
The assets that are not under US BK court jourisdiction...
what about the 4 overseas factories that produce batteries for Black and Decker and Dewalt?
Nobody remembers how big A123 systems really is...
I see underlying value that AONE has. I have been investing in this company and hold shares from pre BK 11 declaration, it is not 7 afterall. Looking forward to after the reorganization.
Have a nice evening everyone.
Next week the court rules on the new lower 12% DIP to be supplied by Wanxiang. Not all of the assets are up for sale...
this article reiterating the total over .5 billion in assets

The US stockmarket has 3 exchanges the DJIA S&P 500 and the NASDAQ
The NASDAQ exchange has some fine stock analysts which in late October raised their price target from 1.50 to 2.00. I think this is a more accurate target than the approximate 3.36 target that was written in Perry's article. I am not sure what your reply infers but have a nice evening anyway...

Very Good News Posthttp://seekingalpha.com/article/962521-a123-systems-assets-attracting-much-attention?source=email_rt_article_readmore&ifp=0#comments_header also look at raised price target for AONE this month raised to $2
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/aone/analyst-research
It is hard to put a valuation on this AONE stock now, I hope I am privy to the monthly operating report provided to the courts. Does anyone know if that is public info, you would think.
Just because NASDAQ raised the price target to $2 from $1.50 within the month of October 2012 doesnt mean there is going to be any buyout. http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/aone/analyst-research
Wangxiang has already purchased stock in this company. I would think it is in there interest to keep the stock and possibly purchase more stock as many Chinese companies have US exchange listings. I am sure Wanxiang knows about the new upgraded price target for AONE at $2 from $1.50 as per recent NASDAQ analyist upgrade.
Positive foreign business relations are in the best interest of China and the US.
Jim Cramer mentions Black and Deckersales will be up from rebuilding after Sandy hits Eastcoast...A123 systems manufactures batteries for Black and Decker and Dewalt. No mention of sales of these assets as I have read in all previous blogs on court adendum.
Probabably because these are part of the foreign operations not in US Bankruptcy court jourisdiction. More value for AONE stock.
I just hope to learn and research as much as possible to become a very good Trader. After the 50 to 100 hrs I put into researching this whole scenerio my investment now was labled a failure by someone who has an agenda? Shame on them if it that is true. I blogged WNR at 19.50 saying it would go to 26.50 which it hit. The blog was in reference to a contrary opinion to someone who also was against my investments position(they missed restructuring details also)...hey the markets closed today LOL!
The raised price target to $2 from $1.50 is very recent. My quess is that AONE is streamlining and the Analysts at NASDAQ like the overseas operations that AONE may keep. The batteries in my Dewalt drill and black and decker saw hold a great charge. I wish GE was the DIP provider...
GE is a holder of AONE stock and they bring good things to life!
John is obviouswly very well educated and versed in the industry. Only sometimes even the most well educated can miss a very important detail...A123 is not a failure Wangxiang has provided a better DIP than Johnson Controls, A123 systems is in business.
I appreciate any info on A123 systems and the industry. I have two questions though for John, "What about the assets and their allocation(which operations are A123 systems keeping and not selling off)? Which ones are producing the most revenue and positve margins?
It is nice to see the Earnings growth projection for A123 in 2015 to be over 1000%.
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/aone/earnings-growth
I see continued value in being a stockholder(which is also a form of stakeholder). A123 is stream lining the company. I like the earnings growth potential as per Nasdaq. A123 should be able to focus on the part of the company that brings in profits for all who have interest in the company.
A123 has 5 factories in ChangZhou China this would be assets that I believe are not under US bankruptcy court jurisdiction.
http://www.cggc.duke.edu/pdfs/CGGC_A123_CaseStudy_10-22-10.pdf
A123 has operations overseas not under US bankruptcy court jurisdiction. There has to be shareholder value there, any thoughts? The reorganization of A123 could help us as they can focus on a new outlook for a less diversified business. Maybe thats why the price target was raised to $2 from a $1.50 after the bankruptcy reorganization.
I like there grid power back up technology...look at Sandy for example...have a good day off and please be safe in the Northeast.
Keep up to date please AONE waived delisting to OTC this is a reorganization process. There are also businesses owned by AONE over seas not in USA Bankruptcy court jurisdiction. Nasdaq raised the price target afterbankruptcy declaration. This is not a complete sale of assets, there is only talk of sale of the auto battery side of the business not grid technology or lithium ion batteries made by A123 and purchased by companies such as Black and Decker.
This is a unique situation and cannot be compared to other cases in the past. The DIP financing seems to be in process which keeps A123 in business for US and over seas operations. If any of my DD is incorrect or in need of amendment please update me of any new changes.
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/aone/analyst-research
stong buy hold price target up from 1.50 to 2.00
NASDAQ new price target $2 Wanxiang has minimum 4.99% ownership in commonstock. Better DIP financing...you would think the price would recover.

Since NASDAQ analysts raised target price to $2 from $1.50 just within a week shouldn't the PPS get pushed above $1 to maitain the required minimum NASDAQ price recquirement?
www.nasdaq.com/symbol/aone/analyst-research
AONE is continuing on NASDAQ and the NASDAQ Analysts have raised the price target. Why are you guys talking about Q? Delisting was waved as I tcan see by the continuation of trading on Oct 25. A123 had a hearing and they are in continuation.
Yes I have read the blogs about Chapter 11 debt reorganization. They are still in a good industry. I like battery back up for grids and my Black and Decker cordless saw with an A123 Lithium ion battery. It holds a nice charge and I am holding this stock.
New price target$2 up from $1.50
